It was on a very bright morning,may was busy checking the numerous notification that kept bumping into her phone and couldn't concentrate on the road,unaware of the oncoming vehicle, she stepped on the pedestrian crossing and was about to cross then she realized that a car is approaching,"ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.....", she's screamed out of fear, the car came into an abrupt stop,May walked backwards and fell onto the floor shocked,"what?!,she could have just died now".
The door of the car opened and a young well built man in black suit got down from the car,the sun shone onto his face and had a competition with him,he looks elegant and majestic,one can tell he is from a rich family.
"You alright?",he asked in deep thick voice as he walk towards her.
"Ye.....yes,am....alright,thanks",May replied stammering, she couldn't resist his charm,he is probably the most handsome guy she had ever seen.
"Be more cautious next time and more careful on the road",he said as he stretches out his hand in help to her.
"Oh.....yeah,sure,thanks",she held his hand and stand up.
He helped her pick up her phone,"where are you headed?",he asked as he hand over her phone to her.
"Well.....my workplace".
"Wouldn't you mind I give you a lift",he asked offering to help.
"No,not at all,thanks",she said as she run towardthe car,she tried to open it but it's stuck,"how do I open this".
He walked up to her and open the door for her,as soon as she got into the car,she was welcomed by the fresh air coming out from the car's air conditioner and the strong scent,she sat down down and make space for the owner to sit,he enter and sit close to her.
May could only sit quietly until she got to her destination."we are here,thanks for the ride",she said as she got down from the car waving goodbye.
"You're welcome,wait,do you work here?",he asked.
"Yes,I started not too long on probation but am officially now a secretary",she replied.
"Oh....I see,a secretary".
"Yes".
"Alright,bye".
"Bye",she waved at him as the car zoomed off,"he couldn't even ask for my number,am I not pretty enough,uhn".
"Hey,May",her friend,Amy,waved at her as she run towards her,"who is that,your boyfriend?".
"N.....yes",she lied.
"OMG😱.....that's great",she said in awe."Am sure he have lot of rich friends,right?".
"Un uhn".
"Please,introduce me to one of them,okay".
"I will think about it",she said stylishly.
"Please think about it".
"Okay",May said as she speed up.
"Hey,you're too fast,wait for me".
"Catch up then",she said smiling.
