Over the past three days, Mystic had finally gotten the hang of operating most of the system functions, he could now open his status tab with ease and even access the system shop without looking like a strange man tapping the air.

Thanks to practice, he was now able to control the interface using only his thoughts.

Now that he had a good grasp of the system, he felt ready to be the best coach he could be for his club.

There were daily activities his players would eventually complete to earn B-Coins and Player Coins, but since he didn't have a team yet, the currencies remained empty for now with him still being unable to earn any.

He was waiting on his uncle so they could be making their way towards the training center together, where he had told Viper to send the players on the list, but before stepping out, there was one last thing he wanted to take care of.

There was a welcome package included with the system awakening that he hadn't opened yet, the only reason he'd held off was because he wanted to fully understand the system interface first.

Opening the rewards panel, he saw a red gift box wrapped with yellow ribbons, beneath it, the words Beginner Reward Package were displayed.

Using his mind, Mystic selected the box, prompting a notification to appear:

[Open Gift Box (Y/N)]

Without hesitation, Mystic chose Y, and with a soft flash of light, a list of rewards appeared before him:

[Rewards:]

AI Assistant System

1,000 Player Coins

300 B-Coins

Seeing the list of rewards left Alec a bit perplexed, he understood the second and third items, but the "AI Assistant System" was completely unfamiliar to him, as he wasn't sure if this meant he was getting a second system or something entirely different.

While he was still mulling it over, a voice echoed in his head, making him wonder if he was imagining things or simply fatigued from staring at the system screen for too long.

But then the voice came again—clearer, louder—and Alec immediately realized he wasn't hallucinating.

[ X: Greetings, Host. My name is X. I'm the AI assistant of your system. I was created to help you accomplish your goals, provide insight into hidden features of the system, and offer advice from time to time, unfortunately, I've been waiting for you to awaken me since the moment you activated the system, so this introduction is a bit late.]

Mystic : "~"

Mystic stared in surprise as a blueish-green, bubble-like orb with animated facial features floated in front of him, it caught him off guard, but with everything he'd experienced lately, he wasn't too shaken.

"Why do I get the feeling you're not exactly thrilled about being activated late, even with that cute face on?" Mystic asked, smirking as he found the bubbly assistant both amusing and oddly endearing.

[ X: That's because I am angry! What kind of host awakens a system and doesn't open the beginner's package? It's literally called a beginner's reward for a reason, because it's meant to help you get started! And I've been stuck in the dark all these days because you didn't call on me. I hate the darkness.]

Mystic let out a few chuckles as he listened to what was supposed to be his system assistant rant about being neglected.

"Well, I'm sorry about that anyway," Mystic said, making a quick apology to calm the little orb of cuteness before reopening his status tab to check if anything had changed now that his rewards were finally unlocked.

Real Life Money: 1,002,000

There had indeed been some changes to his system, the B-Coins and Player Coins sections, which were previously empty, now displayed a balance, thanks to the beginner pack reward.

"Do you mind explaining what B-Coins and Player Coins represent? And why does it show my real-life money too? Don't tell me the system can connect to my bank account," Mystic asked, clearly perplexed by the system's setup.

Now that he had an AI assistant, he figured it was time to start getting answers to all the questions he'd been holding back.

[ X: It's actually pretty simple. Once you start running your club properly, you'll get used to how everything works. But for now, I'll give you a quick rundown.

Player Coins are used to evolve players from one rank to another, the higher the rank they're advancing to, the more coins you'll need, they're also required to level up player skills, whether those skills are inherited, implanted, or learned.

Basically, anything related to developing your players involves Player Coins.

Now, B-Coins are the exclusive currency for the system shop. Every item in the shop can only be purchased with B-Coins. Over time, you'll realize just how invaluable they are.

As for the real-life money, yes—the system can connect to your bank account. Think of it like having the power to withdraw cash without needing an ATM. But that's not even the main reason for the connection. The real purpose is for system-assisted upgrades. Some features and services the system provides are top-tier, and they'll require real-world funding.]

The system finally wrapped up its long explanation, and luckily Mystic had managed to absorb most of it, except for the part about the services that require real life money which the system would be providing.

"If you don't mind me asking, what services can I get by spending real money through the system?" Mystic asked, determined to learn everything he could before heading to his meeting with the team.

[ X: Simple things, like upgrading your stadium, improving the training pitch, and even scouting talent, though I wouldn't recommend that last one.]

Mystic nodded, finally getting a solid grasp of how each of the three currencies, real money, B-Coins, and Player Coins, could be used. Just then, his uncle walked in, as Mystic turned to greet him, he noticed his uncle's gaze was locked onto the floating, glowing bubble hovering in the air.

Mystic's eyes widened in shock, he hadn't expected his uncle to see the bubble at all—after all, he'd never noticed the system interface.

So Mystic had assumed the same invisibility would apply to his new AI assistant, the fact that Alfred could actually see it left him stunned.
