A/N: The MC is an OC from JoJo's universe with his own Stand, but he will also acquire Tusk as a secondary Stand (there will be a reason for this.)

"You there! You want some ice cream?" an old man shouted at nearby passersby, soliciting them to purchase however, nobody batted an eye as they continued on their way. They were not tourist and knew that the old man was just a scammer, upcharging by more than 200%
"Come on! The mint chocolate is gonna run out soon if you don't buy!" the old man tried again, shouting at the next wave of people going past the shop stationed in the favela of Naples. The man thought setting up there would catch a few tourists, yet today it seemed like nobody was interested.
"Still trying to scam people when you can't even cough up the protection money? You know it's 80% less when the last boss was around, so I know for sure you can pay." Suddenly, the old man's face went pale as he slowly turned towards the voice. Near the door of his vendor stand stood a young blonde man with a cold smile on his face.
Reaching for the handle, the man opened the door and approached the old man, entering his personal space, their faces almost inches apart. "You were supposed to pay last week, Mr. Lorenz," the man said, rubbing his fingers together, gesturing towards the register.
"Listen, Arlequinno--"
"Since when are we on a first-name basis?" the man, Arlequinno, interrupted, slamming the thin metal walls of the small ice cream stand, creating a sharp screech. Sweat slowly beaded on the old man's forehead as he stuttered, coming up with the words he needed.
"Mr Gnocchi, I told Ranni that I would pay you in 2 weeks, and that was last week! I still need to earn more money before-" the old man was interrupted yet again as Arlequinno grabbed him by the collar, his bright green eyes gazing into his soul.
"Do you play Giorno for a fool? You had the money for a month now, you are just saving up to buy a boat to escape to Sicily." Arlequinno shouted, raising him up in the air. Releasing one hand, he held his hand towards the register, and as if held by an invisible chain, it swung towards the old man's face, its wires ripped from the socket.
"Im telling you! I don't have the money! You thieves just take and take and take, and what protection am I getting? You are all scum. SCUM!" the old man shouted in rage, staring at the money strewn on the floor from the broken register. His mouth bled as more and more insults spilled from his mouth.
However, all of the old man's shouts fell on deaf ears as the passersby ignored everything. This was a daily occurrence, as many shop owners thought that now that Diavolo was gone, Passione was no longer collecting protection money. Even as Arlequinno left the stand, the old man didn't stop cursing.
Reaching into his pocket, Arlequinno pulled out his phone, typing in a number. He held his phone to his ear as the call connected.
"Still on patrol? Where are you?" before he could open his mouth, a cheery voice escaped through the phone, causing Arlequinno to flinch for a moment.
"Im at Carciolo just around the port," Arlequinno reported, looking at the sea as boats made their way around the waves. Most were tourist boats filled with clueless people who had no clue of the organized crime occurring right under their noses.
"thats perfect, I need you to get to Orazio. We have someone gone rogue," Arlequinno suddenly gripped his phone with force. Slowly closing his eyes, he took a deep breath.
Opening his eyes back up after a few moments, he let a deep sigh escape as he turned a corner.
"I'll be right there," hanging up the phone, he focused for a moment as a shimmering spark appeared on his shoulder. After a short burst of light, a birdlike creature hung, its talons gripping his shoulder blade.
It was his stand, [Dead or Alive]. It resembled an owl made of wood, featuring a metallic mask and feathers. Its eyes looked like swirls of rippling water, and its beak was a void of blackness. Its wings had tiny hands like those of a raptor (the dinosaur) that gripped Arlequinno's clothes.
"Scout," Arlequinno whispered as the bird took off with incredible speed. Although it wasn't a long-range stand, it had a range of more than 50 meters and could relay its senses back to him.
"He's a stand user, isn't he?" Arlequinno muttered with annoyance as he turned to Orazio Street. In the crowd of people stood a man in a checkered suit with long, upright black hair that almost reminded him of another white-haired Frenchman.
Raising his hand, [Dead or Alive] followed his motion as it swept down, clawing at the man, but before it could strike, a blinding light that seemed invisible to the passersby shone in the street. A man in shining armor now stood before [Dead or Alive], catching its claws between its fingers.
"Hazza! They sent Arlequinno after me?? Well, no matter [PSYQUI]!" the man shouted, the armored stand released its hand and swung at the birdlike stand with force. Arlequinno, who was approaching, felt his stomach twist as the force transferred between the stand and him.
[Dead or Alive] now free from the stand, flows over towards Arlequinno with a squeak. Reaching into his pocket, Arlequinno retrieved a small steel ball (run). Throwing the ball into the air a couple of times, Arlequinno readied his hand and pitched the ball into the air, which seemed to completely miss his opponent as it zipped by.
A/N: No, Arlequinno doesn't know spin (Yet), he's just using a metal ball as a weapon.
As the ball flew through the air, it suddenly turned, as if ignoring inertia, towards the man, approaching from his blind spot, yet it was swiftly caught by [PSYQUI], who delivered it into the man's hand.
"Tsk tsk, Arlequinno, do you think I don't know how you fight? Penneriotzo already told me everything." The man clicked his tongue with a smug expression as he juggled the ball in his hand
"Why are you defecting to Penneriotzo? You spit in Giorno's face for what?" Arlequinno ignored the man's smug words as he got straight to the point, slowly approaching even closer to the man, eyeing the stand that stood behind him.
"Why of course, the answer is money! It always is! You Passione gangsters seem to ride a high horse, acting all ethical, and I applaud that, but I don't get to pocket any money, so much so for avoiding killing and donating funds, you yourself don't even get what's left over!" the man shouted into the air, his hands raised high.
"What a stupid reason for an even stupider person," Arlequinno held his hand forward as the ball in the man's hand suddenly began spinning, as if held by a rotating arm; it swung into the man's face, slipping from his hand.
*curhkg*
The man's nose made a crunching sound as his face caved in, his stance dissipating as he went unconscious. Arlequinno eyed his watch; the fight only took 3 minutes before it was over. Clearly, that man was overconfident, not even using his stand's ability.
"You dare go against Giorno and come out alive?" Arlequinno gritted his teeth. He wanted to kill the man right there and then, but he had to have him interrogated for more information about Penneriotzo, a rival gang.
Turning his head, he saw many passersby, alarmed by the fight, yet some seemed completely unfazed. "You there, yeah, you! Get this man to Enoteca," Arlequinno shouted at one of the unperturbed men. They were small-time crooks, a part of Passione.
Putting his hand over his head, Arlequinno stared at the bright sky, it was currently noon... hold on.
"Hey, you, do you see this?" Arlequinno asked the man who was dragging the stand user's body, looking up the man squinted his eyes as he stared at the sun
"Is it just me, or is the sun... leaving a trail?" the man asked what they were both asking themselves out loud. The sun was slowly leaving a trail as it moved through the sky.
Looking at his watch, Arlequinno also noticed that the clock hands were moving faster than before... Time was accelerating.
'What is this?' Arlequinno gritted his teeth. Without thinking for a second, he began sprinting, turning corners as the clouds in the sky picked up speed. "Is this a stand user's ability?" he wondered.
Soon, he reached an unassuming building; however, strangely, it had security guards at the entrances, yet they seemed to be distracted by the sky slowly picking up speed. "Where's Giorno!" Arlequinno shouted at the two, startling them
"He went on a flight to Florida yesterday," Arlequinno's eyes widened in panic. 'Why didn't he tell me?' he wondered. He thought he was Giorno's most trusted gangster.
Again, looking at the sky, the sun had created a considerable trail as it almost reached the other side of the horizon. Arlequinno felt his heart pounding in his chest. Clutching it, he summoned his stand, not that it would do anything.
Suddenly, the sky went dark as the sun was swallowed by the horizon, it had only been 15 minutes since noon. Yet just as that thought reached Arlequinno's mind, the sun suddenly appeared in the sky.
It had made a full revolution around the sky in 15 seconds, and it was only accelerated. Soon, it made 2, then 3, and then 5, and then 10. Arlequinno stood witness as his phone ran out of battery in mere moments, and his clothes decayed as they were still on his body. The guards got the same fate as the world around them broke down
before Arlequinno knew it, the world decayed into pure rays of light as everything he knew vanished before his eyes
'Is this where Passione dies? From a random stand attack? How could I have defended that? What about Giorno? HE COULD'VE DONE SOMETHING.' Arlequinno clutched his head in rage as he floated through a stream of light
'No, I can't let myself fall into despair, Giorno's dream must live on.' Arelquinno steeled himself as he closed his eyes. He was Giorno's most loyal follower, he couldn't give up just because the world ended!
Suddenly, like a light being switched off, Arlequinno saw all of the lights he was surrounded by disappear. He felt his feet touch the floor, his lungs breathe dirty air, and his eyes see a dark, cloudy city. Where was he?
"this place smells like shit" Arlequinno held his nose in disgust
