Chapter 190 - Chapter 194 – Third Ending, Fourth Beginning

Hinata Gin returned to Yumegakure, summoned by Mitsue's call. Her heart skipped a beat the moment her eyes landed on her friend's body—Mitsue stood tall despite the grotesque wound near her head, her pain visible but not defeating her spirit. Around them, the land bore scars of a titanic battle. The area surrounding the Crystal Tower was devastated, as if giants had clashed here. And yet, the tower stood—wounded, yes, but defiant, bathed in moonlight that glistened across its cracked surface.

All eyes turned to Hinata as she arrived. The air held its breath.

"The war is over," she declared.

A cry of celebration erupted from those gathered. Her words marked not just victory, but survival.

Hinata turned toward Michel. "I expected more people… where are the dreamers?" she asked, even as her intent aligned with Yumegakure's very structure. She began mending the Crystal Tower and the broken land around it.

It was Kuro—full-sized and clinging affectionately to her hand with her childlike voice—who answered. "Something happened in the real world... A great tremor shook the land right after most of the big fights ended. All of us dreamers woke up—me too! Plates broke, babies cried, and nobody knew why. I came back because I was worried about you, so I asked Mitsue to call you… but you took your time... we were really worried"

She rubbed her snout against Hinata's hand, pouting slightly.

Kaito added, speaking with quiet gravity, "At first, we thought it was a trick from the Pure Lands. But their portals shut down, and their forces moved strangely, as if without direction. The tools they used to bypass our silver nodes natural defenses stopped working. The war stalled… nobody understood why."

Hinata nodded, brows furrowed. "When I struck the Pure Lands, I targeted the central tower—the heart of their soul network. My blow didn't destroy it, but the damage was immense. That must have disrupted their link to the real world... and to Yumegakure."

Michel responded, "Whatever the cause... it's over. Now all that remains is to rebuild... and find a way to bring you back to the real world."

No one objected. Heads nodded. The work of recovery began.

Within hours, the dreamers returned, sharing tales of the strange quake. News was fragmented—limited by shinobi communication—but whispers of a vast, unknowable consequence began to ripple outward.

The enemy soldiers who had once marched under the Pure Lands were offered a choice: return or stay. Unsurprisingly, when they learned the truth of the end of the war, every one of them chose to remain in Yumegakure.

With advancements in portal design, Michel—alongside Kenshiro, Reika, and their son Shō—created a stable gate to the real world. Yet before departing, Hinata surprised them all: she revealed to Takama, Kaito, Kuro, and Mitsue the records of Michel's story, the original "Naruto," and the enemy known as Shikashi.

Each of them processed the truth differently. But by the day's end, they all agreed to meet in one place: the White Space.

There stood Michel, Takama, Kaito, Mitsue, Kuro… and Hinata.

"Thank you for coming," Hinata said. "I shared with you truths I once held alone. But I realize now—this story isn't just mine. I hoped we could find a way forward… a way to give this distorted tale a happy ending."

Takama stepped forward, his voice steady. "I'll admit—knowing this earlier might've helped. But things turned out well. And now that you've chosen to trust us… we won't fail you."

His words echoed the quiet conviction in Kaito's, Mitsue's, and Kuro's hearts. They nodded with rare unity.

Hinata smiled, deeply moved. "I'm glad to hear it. In that spirit, I want to share what happened in the Pure Lands. Michel, will you help me?"

Understanding immediately, Michel raised his silver threads. Like a silken avalanche, they swirled around Hinata—embracing, not binding her. From her chest, a single thread branched into five, one to each of them.

Each of them reached out instinctively, grasping the silver threads that connected to them. As their fingers closed around the strands, a wave of memory surged through them.

And then they saw it.

Each bore witness to Hinata's journey—her battle, her truth, her awakening.

And together, in that silent, silver-lit space, they made the decision that would bring this story to its final act.

<<<< o >>>>

The wheels of fate turned once more… but this time, guided not by prophecy nor bloodlines, but by the will of a girl who refused to be broken—and those who now walked beside her.

The decisions born in the White Space reshaped Hinata's vision. She no longer sought to rewrite the future in isolation, but to craft a gentler destiny for the shinobi world. A future forged not in defiance of fate, but in collaboration with it.

Together, they achieved the impossible.

When the moment came—the collapse of the Moon's Eye Plan and the arrival of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki—a battle of cataclysmic scale ensued. And yet, Hinata stood firm. Through heart and soul, through memory and will, she reached Kaguya not as a rival… but as a mirror. The battle ended not in domination, but in mutual recognition.

And in that fragile moment of truce, Kaguya agreed.

Shikashi would be summoned—one final time.

His arrival defied comprehension: an entity forged of infinite souls, all bound to a singular, malevolent will. He was not a god, but a force of recursion—one that demanded history repeat until it collapsed.

He came expecting dominion.

Instead, the world rebelled.

Spiritual tendrils surged from Yumegakure, passing through Hinata's bloodline into reality itself. They lashed out like divine judgment, wrapping around Shikashi, pulling, devouring.

Reality screamed as Yumegakure manifested in full—a self-aware force, a counterweight to Shikashi's cycle.

Caught off guard, Shikashi was torn apart, losing countless fragments to the ravenous intent of Yumegakure.

But he was not yet undone.

With a snarl, he condensed his form into a humanoid shell, then reached across the void—seizing his weakened connections to Ren and Jiren, to the crippled parasites he had long embedded within them. From their memories and distortions, he extracted one thing:

Knowledge.

And from that knowledge, a plan.

The pact with Kaguya was complete. The world's own rules permitted one final act of transgression. And so, Shikashi tore a soul from himself—a piece of his very core—and flung it backward through time.

Hinata and Kaguya watched in horror, powerless.

But fate twisted.

The apocalyptic strike on the Pure Lands had fractured the soulflow ever so slightly—just enough to misalign Shikashi's leap. His soul did not land in the era he intended, nor the host he had chosen.

<<<< o >>>>

Far from the battlefield, in the quiet solemnity of the Temple of Fire, a unknown monk in red robes collapsed during prayer, while the world trembled at his feet.

He gasped, choked… and stood up slowly, trembling.

His aura was wrong. Tainted. Ancient.

His eyes gleamed with unnatural hate.

"That woman… Hinata Gin… she will die by my hand. And this world—this reality—will be mine."

The Fourth Regresor had awakened.

Author's Note: End of Arc III

Well, this arc had a lot more conflict than the others... and it's natural. The story progresses, and conflict is something that should happen.

I tried to keep the spirit of the fights interesting, maintaining that anyone can win if you handle an opponent well despite differences in ability.

I tried to give personality to the different nations of the world beyond what was in the lore, I tried to be inspired by countries in the real world when I put those things together.

I've had questions about the male lead in the story... I still have it in Flux, that much... but within the real options, there are Naruto, Sasuke and Kaito... I thought about putting it up for a vote... If I had to list the possible options I see

1) Naruto is her childhood crush.

2) Sasuke developed a spark with her during their interaction with her throughout the story.

3) Kaito is someone she cares about; after all, he gave his life for her.

4) It's even possible that SasukeandNaruto could end as Hinata's partners.

They all have their charm. I don't plan on pursuing any of the relationships within the story itself, but I do plan on leaving more hints about the possible final outcome after the story ends depending on the vote. It is always possible that if a vote is especially numerous, I may change my mind. (You can vote by giving a +1 and commenting on the line you are interested in.)

As you probably suspect, the next arc is the end of the story. It was never my intention to make an extremely long and drawn-out story, mainly because I want to finish the story. Now that I think about it, Arc 1 was 55 chapters, Arc 2 was 66 and Arc 3 was 72... I'm going to try to finish Arc 4 in lesser quantities, time will tell.

For those who got this far, if you could make a review or give the story a 5-star rating, it would be appreciated, but don't feel pressured. I plan on finishing the story relatively soon, but helping me get motivated is never a bad idea, right?

For those who have put some comnets into the chapters of the story, I want to thank you and I want you to know that it is a simple act and that it is appreciated.

Oddly enough i'm not planning on writing the last part of the story right away like i did with the first three parts, the reason being that i'm planning on re-writing the first part of the story since i threw the first few chapters together in a hurry to get the story out of my chest and i feel like i can do better with what i learned while producing the rest of the story. luckily i'm 30 chapters ahead in my notes, i'm only going to release one by day, with any luck i should be able to continue the story before i run out of chapters.

If any of you have an opinion on how I could put it together (the first arc) in a way that is good but still maintains the spirit to make the story more interesting to read, you can let me know by private message or by posting your suggestions in this same chapter.

This is the end of the third story arc.
