While Lucy and Gray entered the Temple to confront Lyon, I landed in front of a tiki-mask wearing man, though now that I've gotten closer, I was a bit skeptical about that last part. 'He doesn't carry himself like a man.' Folding my arms, I approached the man, who leaped off the tree branch before gracefully landing in front of me, which only served to further solidify my doubt about the mans true identity; however, I didn't spend much time thinking whether I was facing a man or not, it wouldn't have made a single difference.
"Who the hell are you?" Asking the man, I expected him to remain silent or attack me, but surprisingly, he responded. "You can call me Zalty." Nodding, I took a step forward while narrowing my eyes. "So Zalty, let me ask you, do you intend to harm my little siblings? If so, I'll kill you." Once I finished speaking, I lightly flared my magic power in a show of force, hoping to spur a quick and truthful response. "No… I do not intend to attack the girl and boy with you." Said Zalty with a shake of his head, causing me to lightly nod as I reined in my magic power, though what they said next caused me to faintly smirk. "I'm here to stall you until Deliora is released." Added Zalty with a firm gaze as he narrowed his eyes, though I merely chuckled.
"Hehe, well, you're lucky then; I have no intention of preventing Deliora's revival… Matter of fact, that's the whole reason why I'm here on this island." It seemed my words weren't something Zalty expected to hear, given how his eyes widened in surprise. "R-Really?" Asked Zalty with a skeptical gaze while I lightly nodded. "Huh, well, this makes things much easier for m–" "However, ever since I teamed up with Lucy, I haven't faced any real threats, so if you don't mind I'd like to use you as a warm-up before I face Deliora; I'm sure killing him won't be easy after all." While gazing at Zalty, who was taken aback by my statement, I spread my legs and leaned side-to-side, stretching my body.
"Eh, y-you plan to kill Deliora!?" "Yeah… That fucking Demon terrorized Gray and made him experience hell. He's too weak to enact his revenge, so as his big bro, I'll do it in his stead… No one messes with my family and gets away with it." Nodding at Zalty, I took a moment and glared at the temple in fury and hatred before shaking my head; facing Zalty, I cracked my neck and sported a feral grin as I flexed my muscles before lunging forwards, starting magic-less.
Appearing right in front of Zalty, I was about to remove the tiki-mask from his face, though before I could, he suddenly moved unnaturally fast and managed to avoid me altogether as he distanced himself several meters away. "Huh, that was weird." Glancing at Zalty with a raised eyebrow, I lunged at him once more, curious at what type of magic he'd just used. Just like before, despite being prepared this time, he was still forced to use his magic as he evaded my hand by moving unnaturally fast; after trying a few more times and failing, I came to a halt while Zalty calmly looked at me from a distance.
"You're using time magic, aren't you? I've never encountered someone who could use such magic, but I've read about it, and that's the only thing I can think of that makes sense… I know what speed magic is, and you're not using it. I would notice if you cast slow magic on me, it's not illusions, nor are you teleporting at the last second, so time magic is the only way; you're speeding your own time up just before I reach you." Slicking my hair back, I looked at Zalty, who was silently staring at me with a hardened gaze, refusing to elaborate on my words. "So much for you being 'simple-minded'." Muttered Zalty softly while I tilted my head in confusion.
'Simple-minded?' It was true I probably looked and sounded like an idiot, and usually am one, but it's not because I'm actually stupid; it's just thinking usually comes with a lot of needless stress that I don't wish to have, so if possible, I prefer not to think. 'I will accept tactically dumb, but I'm not stupid.' Shaking my head, I lunged at Zalty again, though just like previously, he managed to evade me by speeding up his own time, which was the cause of his unnatural fast speeds.
"Also, you're a woman, aren't you? You have the appearance of a man, but you carry yourself just like a woman… You also smell really nice, and I've never met a man who smells nice." Faintly smirking at Zalty, I saw his mouth twitch in annoyance as he grumbled under his breath before removing his tiki mask, causing the transformation magic he was using to automatically disperse, revealing a beautiful woman in white clothes with long black hair. "Huh, I've seen you before, haven't I?" I don't know where, but I was confident I'd seen Zalty somewhere, and given how she quickly avoided eye contact, it only further solidified my assumption. 'She's also gorgeous.' However, in the end, I honestly didn't care about where I'd seen her from and shrugged my shoulders as I narrowed my eyes.
Lunging back to Zalty, this time, instead of speeding up her own time, everything around me moved in slow-motion, causing me to slowly raise my head as I watched her tiki mask transform into an orb. 'So she's slowed down my time? Smart… Only, not against me.'
One thing that had confused me several years ago was what made my Indestructible Magic so special; sure, it could enhance not only my strength, but my speed and defense for prolonged times, but when compared to Natsu's and Laxus's Dragon slaying magic, it was honestly a bit lackluster. However, through many battles and trial and error, I've learned that the biggest strength of my magic wasn't simply strengthening myself, no, it was making me immune, or 'Indestructible', to any magic that directly affects me or my surroundings.
So, with a faint smirk, I channeled my magic, enhancing myself just slightly while causing Zalty's magic that previously slowed me down to break as I immediately returned to normal speed, allowing me to take her by surprise as I punched her in the face, sending her crashing through multiple trees before eventually stopping. "W-What?" Asked Zalty in genuine confusion as she looked at me while ignoring the blood leaking from her nose.
"Your time magic is probably really powerful, but against me, it's useless; if you want to stall me, you'll have to do more." Licking my lips, I bared my fangs at Zalty before dashing forwards, causing her to thrust her palm forwards as she attempted to use her magic on me again, but to no avail, though she was able to avoid being punched in the face again as she sped herself up at the last minute.
Dashing after her, she threw her orb above my head, causing it to transform into numerous different beams that rained down onto me, causing me to flip mid-air as I crossed my arms, protecting my chest and back from the bombardment before pushing off the ground and kicking her in the stomach, forcing her backwards while she counterattacked as she used requip to summon a sword. Retracting my leg away from Zalty, narrowly dodging her initial attack, I propelled myself towards her while raising my arm to stop her sword with my arm as I firmly gripped her shoulder and clenched my fist, only to head-butt her onto the ground.
Removing the sword from my arm, I tossed it into the distance and punched the ground, narrowly missing Zalty as she rolled to the side before once again speeding her time up to gain some distance; following after her, she threw her orb at me, prompting me to cross my arms and block it, only for several more orbs to manifest in the air around me as they began to rapidly hit me from all angles. Clenching my fist, I punched each orb, breaking them all, and continued after Zalty while she wielded her sword before boldly lunging towards me, entering close-quarters combat, which ended up being a massive mistake, since even with her sword and powerful time magic, I was overwhelming her, though it didn't come to any surprise to me; I was the best in hand-to-hand combat in Fairy Tail by far.
However, while I was enjoying myself, fighting someone who actually made me use some of my magic, I suddenly felt a great disturbance, followed by ominous magic power, causing me to gaze at the temple in the distance. "Deliora! He's awakening!" Said Zalty with an excited smile, only for me to suddenly grab her face before slamming her onto the ground, knocking her unconscious.
"Warm-up's done, I've got a demon to murder." Dusting my hands off, I glanced at Zalty before dashing towards the temple, curious to see how Lucy and Gray fared against Lyon.

This is the TRUE power of Indestructible Magic; it nullifies magic with haxs. If you want to defeat Cooper, the only way to do so is to overpower him with a good ol' fashioned beating.
(Of course, if Cooper's opponent's magic power is naturally stronger than his, the hax will still work unless he pushes past his limit)
