"Eh, y-you can sure eat, huh, Cooper." Said Lucy with a wry expression as she sat opposite of me while I gorged myself on plate after plate of food. "I haven't eaten anything in the last 48 hours." Stuffing a chicken thigh into my mouth, I vigorously chewed before swallowing, bones and all. "Oh, why is that? You're not broke, are you?" Asked Lucy in slight concern as she looked at me with narrowed eyes, though I shook my head while dumping the rice bowl into my mouth. "Well, um, I wanted to thank you for appearing when you did, Cooper; if you hadn't, I probably would've fallen for him. That punk was using Charm Magic to seduce all those women; it's been outlawed by the Magic Council two years ago, so it's illegal magic."
Raising an eyebrow at her remark, I thought back, trying to see if I remembered such a thing, though I just shrugged my shoulders before nodding, as she wasn't lying since I would've been able to tell. "The Magic Council is full of old fools, so I'm surprised they actually did something noteworthy." "Ehehe, well, there is a pretty young guy and girl on the Magic Council, so I don't know about all that." Said Lucy with a wry smile while she rubbed her head before taking a few bites of her food. While eating, Lucy began talking about her supposed dreams of joining a guild with me, half-listening. However, after about an hour, we finished eating and eventually parted ways.
"Good luck joining a guild, Lucy." Releasing an aggressive burp, I stood up and waved at Lucy before exiting the restaurant. "B-Bye Cooper!" 'Hmm, should I have invited her to Fairy Tail? Eh.' Shrugging my shoulders, I spent the rest of the day in Hargeon, searching for the remnants of a dark guild that I destroyed a few months back; well, at least I thought I destroyed it, but apparently, when I attacked a small portion had been doing a job so they were still active somewhere. 'They should be in Hargeon, or at least close to it… But where?' Scratching the side of my head, I continued searching well into the night, though I happened to hear something that caught my attention.
"Yo, did you hear the news? Salamander of Fairy Tail was in the city!" Stopping in my tracks, I swiftly approached the man before grabbing him by his shirt and lifting him against the wall, causing him to freak out. "What did you just say?" "I-I said S-Salamander o-of Fairy T-Tail is h-here! I-I heard h-he's at the docks, on a large ship!" Said the man fearfully as he avoided eye contact; releasing the man, who quickly fled along with his friend, I clenched my fists and headed straight for the docks. Once I arrived at the docks, I found the biggest ship and leaped onto the deck, only to spot a large group of mages along with the fake Salamander I had seen earlier and, surprisingly, Lucy, though seeing how they were moments away from branding her, she wasn't here on her own free-will.
"Oi, bastard, what are you doing here!?" Asked the knock-off salamander as he lowered his branding tool while I narrowed my eyes, responding with a question of my own. "Were you going around claiming to be from Fairy Tail?" My words seemed to have taken him aback as he gave me a confused expression, though he eventually responded in a somewhat dismissive tone. "Yeah, and so what?" "So what!? That's my family, you're impersonating fucker!" Gnashing my teeth, I turned around and pointed to my back, showing off my purple Fairy Tail symbol before looking back at the man. "Eh, you're a Fairy Tail mage, Cooper?" Asked Lucy with wide eyes as she stared at me, though I didn't respond and approached the fucker who dared to mock my family.
"Tch, so what if you're from Fairy Tail! You're heavily outnumbered 1 to 50! Get him, boys!" "Haha, you heard boss Bora!" "Kill this mage!" "Avenge our guild!" The numerous mages attacked fiercely, yet I didn't even give them the time of day as I continued to approach Bora, while their attacks didn't even slow me down, let alone injure me.
Digging my feet into the deck, I swiftly lunged forward, arriving directly in front of Bora as I grabbed him by the neck while knocking away the mages holding Lucy, freeing her; Bora attacked by stabbing my face with the branding tool, though it did nothing. "Your flames are nothing compared to the REAL Salamander." Clenching his neck and causing him to choke, I flung him into the deck as he smashed through the entire boat, creating a large hole in the hull as the ship began to slowly sink.
"Woah! T-The ship is sinking!" "G-Get to the lifeboats!" "Abandon ship!" After defeating Bora, the rest of the mages that were previously attacking me descended into chaos and ran toward the lifeboats in the back of the ship while I grunted in annoyance before lifting Lucy onto my shoulder. "C'mon, let's go." "T-Thanks for saving me, Cooper, but we can't leave yet; there are many women who have been charmed by Bora on this ship." Said Lucy with a shake of her head while sitting on my right shoulder, causing me to groan as I did not feel like saving a bunch of damsels. "Heh, you won't even need to lift a finger, Cooper; just walk to the ship's edge." Added Lucy with a confident smirk as she reached into her pocket, grabbing a golden key, causing me to raise an eyebrow before listening to her.
Arriving near the ship's edge, I glanced at Lucy, who infused her magic power into the golden key, which glowed gold. "Open the Gate of the Water Bearer! Aquarius!" Said Lucy with a shout as she pointed the glowing key at the ocean, causing a sexy blue-haired mermaid to appear in the sea. 'Woah, she's hot.' I wasn't a womanizer like my little bro Loke, but after the night I spent with Mira two years ago, my love for women had been reawakened, so to speak. "Tch, why the hell did you summon me this time? It better be for a good reason, or I'm– W-Who is he?" Said Aquarius in annoyance as she folded her arms and glared at Lucy, only for her to be taken aback when she noticed me, while a faint blush adorned her cheeks. "Ugh, not you too?" Muttered Lucy softly while grabbing the bridge of her nose. "Aquarius! Stop the ship from drowning— Please?"
"Tsk, fine, you're lucky I'm in the mood." Summoning a vase from seemingly nowhere, Aquarius pointed it at the ship, only for a massive wave of water to erupt from the vase as it quickly overshadowed the ship. "She does know you're on this ship, right, Lucy?" "Y-Yeah." Nodding slightly, I filled Lucy's body with my magic power, strengthening it, though not by much, as she was naturally weak, just like all celestial spirit mages. Lucy didn't have time to question why she was suddenly shimmering gold as the massive wave hit the ship, knocking it onto the side and pushing it ashore.
Holding onto the railing to stabilize ourselves, it took a few moments for things to settle down, prompting me to fall to the ground as the ship was now on its side; retrieving my magic power from Lucy, who returned to normal, I walked around the ship until I arrived at the hull, only to rip open a massive hole, freeing the several women Bora had imprisoned. "Eh, how'd you know they were right there?" "I could hear them." Glancing up at Lucy, I turned and approached the destroyed dock where Aquarius was. "Thanks, Aquarius! I know I can always count on you." Said Lucy as she offered Aquarius a smile, though she merely huffed while brushing aside her long blue hair.
"Now, care to tell me who your friend is?" Asked Aquarius with a soft smile as she glanced at me, prompting me to enter the water while I wrapped my arm around her waist and brought her close, causing her large breasts to squish against my chest. "Cooper… Now you're mine." Leaning into Aquarius's face, her blush deepened as she touched my chest. "I love forthright men, Cooper." Hearing Aquarius, I faintly smirked and lowered my hand to where her butt would've been, but since she was a mermaid, her bottom half was a bit scaly, yet also soft at the same time; still, before I could steal her lips, she suddenly dissipated into golden particles, causing me to glance at Lucy. "Ah, looks like she had something to do." Said Lucy with a fake laugh, causing me to shrug my shoulders as I leaped out of the water.
However, just as I did so, military soldiers surrounded us, causing Lucy to fearfully gulp while I groaned in annoyance. "Haa, stupid Magic Council, what an annoying group." Brushing my hair behind my ear, I didn't bother to stick around and dashed through the encirclement of soldiers, swatting them aside as if they were leaves in the wind. "W-Where are we going, C-Coooper!?" Asked Lucy as she held onto my head for support while I leaped out of Hargeon before landing just outside the walls and continuing to run to Magnolia.
"You said you wanted to join a Guild, right? Well, I'm taking you to Fairy Tail… The best Guild in all of Earthland."
