"Welcome to Sunnylane hotel, sir." The moment that he stepped through the doors of the hotel, he was welcomed by one of the receptionists at the receptionist desk that was close by.
'As expected of a big hotel.' Sean could not help but think to himself at the etiquette that was being shown here. Considering that he had already read several web novels, he had encountered several situations where people were being treated differently due to the way that they were dressed.
He did not have that many expensive clothes, and the best clothes that he had were the ones that he always wore when he was going for interviews or to apply for jobs.
"This is my first time here. Can you tell me the services offered here, rather, they categorization of the services here." Sean responded.
With a smile on her face, the lady went ahead and introduced the categorization of services offered by the hotel. She did not show any form of disdain despite the cluelessness that was shown by Sean.
According to the lady, there was a dining area that was located on the first floor. For this first floor, anyone that came to dine within this hotel would book a table there, and dine there.
Of course, that was the cheapest, with the price depending on the meal that would be taken.
On the second floor was private rooms. They belonged to VIPs, and one would have to pay for the room, and they would receive a services that were way better than dining on the first floor.
On the third floor, the level of the private rooms would be higher as compared to those on the second floor. Obviously the price was higher as well as compared to the ones that were on the second floor.
This went on until the 4th floor. From the 5th to the 6th floor, there were rooms that could be used for lodging.
On the 7th floor, there were some private suites. These private suites would need someone to book in advance, before they could use them.
The 8th floor also had suites. But only the VVIP of the hotel could access them, implying that high level members of the hotel could use them, but not just anybody, as even if the person had enough money, they would not be allowed to access those suites.
On the 9th floor was the office of the president of the hotel. But other than that, there was the conference room for the executives of the hotel and a private residence for the president of the hotel.
After hearing the detailing introduction of the hotel, Sean could not help but be amazed. While it was true that he had been to a bigger city when he was attending campus, he had never actually visited any of the hotels there.
He understood that the level of those hotels was obviously higher than this one, but since he did not have the money that was needed to go there, he had never even thought about going there at all.
Sean began formulating a plan. Initially, he had wanted to go directly to the private rooms, make the payment, and after the money had been multiplied by 10 times, he would them purchase different types of expensive foods.
But then again, he thought against it. If he paid for the private room and did not receive the cashback from the system, then that would be a big loss.
"I want to try the services that you over here from the very start. I will start with the first floor all the way to the 7th floor. It is a pity that you cannot allow me to reach the 8th floor." Sean made his decision.
His words could not help but startle the receptionists. While they had their own thoughts in their minds, none of them really showed it on their faces or commented on what Sean had said.
Instead, the lady that was dealing with him from the start immediately smiled and said, "That's fine sir. Just head directly to the first floor, and there will be a waiter or a waitress that will attend to you. If you need to access higher level floors, just inform the person that would be attending to you, and they would lead you there."
Sean nodded his head. He immediately headed towards the elevator, and headed straight to the first floor.
When he got there, he realized that while it was true that this was an open floor where several tables were arranged, it was not overcrowded. There was a certain arrangement of the tables, in such a way that each table had its own space.
And at this moment, there was quite a number of people that was on this floor, despite it already being evening. Each and every one of them dining, or chatting with their companions at the table.
The moment that Sean walked out of the elevator, several people could not help but look at him. Some of them frowned when they looked at the clothes that he was wearing. As for others, after giving him a glance, they completely ignored him.
I got less, nobody really commented about his presence here. They understood one thing, it was impossible for Sean to come here and eat without having a method of paying. Otherwise, if he did not pay, he would definitely face the consequences.
Due to that reason, nobody really bothered about him, as they continue about with what they were initially doing.
Sean did not mind this at all. Instead, he found a table, sat down and waited for a waiter or a waitress. And just after he had sat down, a young man walked to him.
"Good day sir, what meals would you like me to serve you?" The young man asked politely. He was currently dressed in a waiter's uniform, with a name tag on his left chest.
"This is my first time here. Let me go through the menu first. I will inform you after I have made a decision." Sean responded as he picked up the menu that was on the table.
"Please go ahead, sir. Just let me know when you have made your decision." The young man responded, the polite smile still on his face.
Sean had not made a decision on what food to take. After all, he was planning on using all the money that he currently had, eat the food, then make the payment, before moving to the next floor.
As he went through the menu, he could not help but exclaim internally. The price of the food here was extremely high, more than he had ever thought was possible.
Regardless, he decided to make an order. He immediately requested for a few of the expensive dishes present on the menu, the total cost being $150.
Sean was not sure if this method was going to work, and if he was going to receive the cashback by exploiting the system this way. Basically, this was a risk that he was taking. If he did not work, then he would have wasted $150 just like that.
The young waiter immediately went ahead and took his order, and asked him to wait for a little while. A few minutes later, the food was served. Considering that it was only 3 dishes of meals, it was prepared quite fast.
Despite this being the first floor where the service was expected to be the poorest in the entire hotel, it seemed that the dishes were prepared after the order was made.
Looking at the food that was set in front of him, Sean could not help but swallow his saliva. Just the presentation of the food made his appetite increase. And considering that he was hungry at this moment, he did not hesitate and began eating.
The moment that he began eating, he also kept watch of the system, waiting for the prompt. But even after he had finished the first dish, he did not receive any prompt from the system.
Sean could not help but get a bad feeling about this. But thinking much about it, he realized that he had not yet spent any money. Maybe the system waiting for him to make the payment first, before he could receive the cashback?
Regardless, Sean decided not to think much about this and enjoy his meal silently. And just a few minutes, he cleared the dishes, and he could not help but swear, that this was the best food that he had ever had in his life.
Having already dealt with the food that had been served, Sean decided to make the payment first. He wanted to see if he was going to receive the cashback from the system or not.
He was not willing to spend any more money if he was not going to receive the cash back from the system. So, he called the waiter, asking for the bill.
Sean immediately made the payment after he received the bill, and the moment that the payment was completed, the prompt that he had been long waiting for arrived.

The prompt from the system this time was quite short as compared to the two previous prompts. This time, there was no any additional reward that he received from the system.
Just like the system had said before, it was clear that he was not going to receive any additional reward for spending money on food. In any case, that did not bother him, considering that at this moment, Sean was excited at receiving $1,500 out of nowhere.
It was also at this moment that he received a notification on his phone. Checking it out, he realized that $1,500 had been deposited into his account.
