Chapter 128 - Chapter 128: Simultaneous Evolution, Ten Tails Vs. HōGyoku

"Uchiha—Rebound!"

As Aizen Sōsuke brought his sword down, Nanaya spoke those five words at the same moment.

Then—BOOM!!!

The sky shook with a deafening explosion.

There were no elements involved—no fire, no lightning, no special abilities—Just raw, overwhelming force colliding head-on.

The sheer impact formed a massive shockwave.

Sui-Feng, who had just escaped from Nanaya's grasp, widened her eyes in disbelief. Her face turned pale, and she quickly gathered all her strength to brace against the blast.

But it wasn't enough.

The shockwave was too powerful. Her small frame was blown backward. Just as she was about to crash into a nearby building—A dark figure moved in and caught her.

"Stay away from those two monsters…"

The voice was calm but firm. The figure was none other than Shihouin Yoruichi. She stared up at the two combatants in the sky, her expression deadly serious.

"Just a clash of physical strength, and the wind pressure is already this insane. Those two… really are monsters."

She had seen powerful shockwaves before, but never one created from pure, unenhanced strength.

There were no elemental forces. No Kidō.Only dense, high-level Reiatsu clashing like two titans.

The spiritual pressure radiating from both fighters was comparable to Yamamoto Genryūsai's Bankai-level power.

But as Yoruichi gave this grave analysis—Sui-Feng wasn't listening at all.

Her face was red, and she shyly looked away as she murmured:

"Lady Yoruichi… your body is so soft and smells so good... Can you hold me like this forever?"

Yoruichi: …

"He blocked it!?"

Aizen's eyes narrowed sharply.

"You're really strong," Nanaya said with a smirk. "But I gotta ask—why didn't you use Kidō or something?"

He had expected Aizen to unleash some high-level Hadō or a trick from Kyōka Suigetsu.

But instead, it had been nothing more than a sword swing.

And pure, physical attacks couldn't trigger Uchiha Rebound.

"I know the power of your Zanpakutō," Nanaya continued, "but I didn't think a human like me would ever be strong enough to force you to use raw strength."

Aizen rarely showed emotion. But now, his eyes burned with frustration.

His carefully laid plans were being thrown off course—again—by a single human.

And that infuriated him.

Nanaya noticed the change and sneered."So what if I'm human? Are you mad that a mere human stood up to your sword?"

He knew what Aizen was like.

Part of that came from the anime he'd watched in his past life. The rest came from firsthand experience fighting Shinigami.

Aizen always seemed calm, composed, and elegant—but deep inside, he was cold, prideful, and completely convinced of his own superiority.

He didn't respect anyone… except maybe Urahara Kisuke.

Because Urahara's intellect was sharp enough to actually threaten him.

But aside from Urahara, Aizen saw everyone else—Shinigami, Arrancar, and especially humans—as insects.

To him, humans were worse than ants. They were dust.

And now, that "dust" had landed a hit.It shattered his pride—and cracked the mask of calm on his face.

"Don't get cocky just because you landed a hit!"

"Don't be so arrogant… HUMAN!"

Aizen's fury boiled over. His eyes turned icy cold as he raised Kyōka Suigetsu again. The silver blade slashed down—

"ABU! DRU! DRU!"

In just one second—

Aizen swung his sword hundreds of times.

Each and every strike was blocked by Nanaya's Uchiha fan, the clashing metal sounding off like rapid-fire explosions.

The air rang like fireworks as blade met fan over and over again.

"Nanaya!!"

A worried voice rang out—Rukia Kuchiki had rushed forward.

But Nanaya, still locked in the high-speed clash, shouted back:

"Don't come any closer!"

Nanaya quickly stopped Rukia. He exhaled and said in a deep, serious voice:"This is no longer something you can interfere with. That guy… he's getting more dangerous by the second."

As Aizen's spiritual pressure grew stronger, the Hōgyoku inside him was accelerating the fusion process.Even Nanaya could feel the weight of it.

There was nothing he could do about it right now.

After all, in order to evolve further himself, he had released the Nine Tailed Beasts, letting them merge with the Gedo Statue.Although the Gedo Statue was slowly becoming the Ten Tails, it meant Nanaya had temporarily lost control over the tailed beasts.

Until the transformation was complete, his power was stuck back at its previous level.

Only after the Ten Tails fully formed would he be able to seal it again and return to full strength.

Rukia Kuchiki, hearing Nanaya's warning, stopped in her tracks. She bit her lower lip and stared at the battle, worry written all over her face.

The two warriors crashed down from the sky to the ground.

Wherever they passed, the shockwaves from their fight left the battlefield in ruins.

Aizen was growing stronger with each passing moment. The Hōgyoku embedded in his chest glowed with a blue cross-shaped light, and glowing blue lines spread across his torso.

A pale, fluid-like substance was crawling over his chest, covering half of his body.

Then Aizen struck again.

Nanaya's Rinnegan pulsed violently, releasing a powerful wave of repulsion—but it wasn't enough. Aizen's ten strikes still slammed him back.

BOOM!!!

Nanaya was sent flying straight into a 60-meter-tall building.

The building crumbled from the impact.

Dust filled the air. Debris rained down.

Half-buried in the rubble, Nanaya stood up, leaning against a broken wall. He brushed the dust off his clothes and grinned.

"Damn… that actually hurt. Should've used Hollow Mode earlier."

He glanced up at Aizen hovering in the sky. A cold light flashed in Nanaya's eyes.

Then, stretching out his right hand, he spoke in a chilling voice:

"I don't like taking hits without hitting back."

"Gedo Statue!"

The Gedo Statue, floating high in the air, roared—and its body suddenly began to transform.

It entered its first stage as the Ten Tails.

Ten monstrous tails sprouted from its back. Its face twisted into something inhuman: a giant red Sharingan eye and a mouth filled with horrific fangs.

It looked terrifying—grotesque—radiating a savage, crushing aura.

In terms of spiritual pressure alone, it rivaled the Bankai state of Yamamoto Genryūsai.

"What… is that!?"

Aizen's expression changed for the first time. His eyes widened as he stared at the monstrous beast.

"This thing… What even is it!?"

Despite all his planning over the past hundred years—despite having read countless ancient and forbidden scrolls from the underground archives of Central 46—he had never seen a creature like this.

It held the spiritual energy of both Shinigami and Hollow, and not just combined—it had transcended them.

It had broken the very boundary Aizen himself had been trying to overcome.

"This thing... the Ten Tails... it's already broken the boundary between Shinigami and Hollow..."

Far away, Yamamoto's pupils contracted.

Even he was shaken.

In his eyes, the Ten Tails had already achieved what Aizen was still trying to do—fusing Hollow and Shinigami into something greater.

He turned to Aizen again.

Now both Aizen and the Ten Tails were on the verge—or past the verge—of surpassing the laws of their world.

Two beings challenging the natural order of life and death.

Yamamoto's face turned grim.

Even with his thousand years of power, he was no longer able to stop either of them. His burned and battered body had no strength left to intervene.

He had bought the Soul Society time with his life's strength. And now, even he was left stunned.

Let alone the other Shinigami and Arrancar nearby.

"W-Wait… Is this real!?" Kyoraku Shunsui muttered, scratching his head with disbelief. "Two monsters… at the same time?!"

Jūshirō Ukitake stood silent and tense, his voice deep."This power… it feels even greater than the Zero Division."

Hitsugaya Tōshirō gave a bitter smile."Yeah. I don't think I could beat either of them."

Coyote Starrk, off to the side, casually lowered his arm, scratching his head with his gun in hand."…Sooo, are we still fighting? 'Cause, I don't think it matters anymore."

The remaining Shinigami exchanged glances.

They could all sense it:The war had shifted.

Their own battles no longer mattered.

Everything now came down to the final clash—between those two monsters far off in the distance.

"ROOOOAR!!!"

The Ten Tails, fully awakened, let out a thunderous roar. Its massive Sharingan eye locked onto Aizen with a look of savage fury.

As it screamed, wild spiritual power began to gather in its mouth.

It formed a new kind of Tailed Beast Bomb—black at its core, but glowing with a purple-red hue.

Unlike a normal Tailed Beast attack, this one fused Hollow and Shinigami powers into something entirely new… and far more destructive.

Aizen's face darkened.

He could feel it—A genuine sense of danger from that purple-red sphere.A feeling he hadn't known in centuries.

As he considered retreating—

Nanaya smirked and narrowed his eyes. His purple Rinnegan gleamed as he said coldly:

"I'm not letting you run away, nephew."

"Wheel Grave: Bianyu!"

At that moment, the four Nanaya clones—previously surrounding Baraggan—vanished in a flash.

They reappeared around Aizen in a perfect square, trapping him in place.
