"Ugh…"
Nanaya let out a relaxed sigh.
A short while later...
He gently laid Rukia Kuchiki—who was resting in his arms—onto her clothes, then turned to face Unohana Retsu and the other two women with a serious expression.
"Sister Retsu, that was too much. Bullying poor little Rukia-chan like that?"
He pointed at the other two as well.
"And you too, Nel and Tia."
"If I wasn't in such a hurry to return to the human world, I'd seriously teach all three of you a lesson right here."
"Now hurry up and get dressed."
The faces of all three women turned red. Hearing Nanaya's scolding, they stood up slowly and sheepishly began pulling their clothes from the messy pile nearby.
Nanaya, still blushing slightly, grabbed Rukia's clothes from the heap and rushed over to her.
"Here, Rukia. These are your clothes. Put them on first, and once I'm back, I'll deal with those three for you…"
"Q-Qiye, y-you idiot… don't come near me…"
Rukia's face turned bright red. Her voice trembled, almost on the verge of tears.
Her body felt sore all over. The moment she saw Nanaya's face, the exhaustion and aching hit her all at once.
"Hehe, don't worry. I'll help you get dressed."
After a few awkward and clumsy moments, Rukia was finally fully clothed.
Nanaya snapped his fingers, ready to break the yellow barrier surrounding them.
But Rukia stopped him with a flushed face.
"W-Wait… Let me regain some energy before you take it down."
"I really can't move right now…"
A short while later—Bang!
The yellow, opaque barrier shattered.
From within, four women stepped out with slightly flushed faces, walking a bit awkwardly at first.
Fortunately, Nel and Tia, being Arrancar-class Menos Grande, had quick healing abilities.
Their steps returned to normal in no time.
Rukia noticed this. Her beautiful violet eyes shimmered with envy as she turned to Unohana Retsu and asked:
"Captain Unohana… doesn't your Kaidō work on this kind of… injury?"
Her skin still tingled with discomfort—not sharp pain, but more like a strange, numbing soreness spread across her entire body.
Unohana placed both hands gently on her cheeks and tilted her head, smiling blissfully.
"Rukia-chan, don't you think this kind of pain actually feels… nice?"
Rukia's face instantly darkened.
Grinding her teeth, she replied:
"Captain Unohana Retsu, I'm sorry… I don't share your hobbies."
Honestly, she couldn't think of a single other person in the Soul Society—besides maybe Zaraki Kenpachi—who would actually enjoy being in pain.
"Fine, fine. Hold still. I'll heal you a little."
Unohana raised her hand and pointed at Rukia.
"Kaidō."
Meanwhile, Nel transformed into her child form and jumped playfully onto Nanaya's shoulder.
"Nanaya, is the fighting over?"
"Yeah, almost," Nanaya nodded.
It had taken nearly a month.
He had consumed a massive amount of spiritual energy and created nine tailed beasts—each one on the level of a Vasto Lorde.
And now, he had successfully tamed all of them.
In other words, he was now the Jinchūriki of all nine tailed beasts—a perfect Jinchūriki, able to use the powers of every one of them.
However, becoming the Ten Tails Jinchūriki would still require the power of the Gedo Statue.
But Nanaya didn't plan to waste any more time here.
No one knew what the situation in the human world was like by now.
He needed to get back. That place… that was his home.
"Wow! Nanaya, you're amazing!" Nel said, her eyes sparkling with admiration.
She had seen everything with her own eyes—how Nanaya fought and subdued all nine Vasto Lorde-level Menos Grande.
The first few tailed beasts weren't too bad.
Even though they had special abilities, their overall strength was still at the entry level of a Vasto Lorde.
But starting from the Five Tails, Kokuō, things got a lot harder.
Each of the later tailed beasts had terrifying power.
And the last one—the Nine Tails, Kurama—was in a class of his own.
The Nine Tails was a terrifying monster—like a living natural disaster. It existed purely to destroy, its overwhelming presence blocking out the sky like a dark sun. Its massive body gave off a savage aura.
In Nel's opinion, even Baraggan Louisenbairn—the former emperor of Hueco Mundo—wouldn't stand a chance against the Nine Tails.
If Nanaya hadn't already subdued several of the tailed beasts, gained experience, and kept some control over himself while in the Nine Tails state, everyone here might've died.
"You're so strong..." Nel's admiring voice reached Nanaya's ears, but instead of making him proud, it made him pause—and remember what had just happened.
Tiantian, with long blue hair and red markings on her face, usually had a cold and distant appearance.
But earlier, she was sweating lightly, her face flushed, and she had looked at him with soft, dazed eyes.
"Nanaya… you're so strong…"
Form is emptiness, emptiness is form... Nanaya silently repeated the phrase to calm his thoughts, doing his best to suppress the restlessness in his heart.
Then Tier Harribel stepped forward. Compared to Nel, she was more curious about Nanaya's strength now.
"Nanaya," she asked, "you've tamed nine Vasto Lorde-class Arrancar. So how strong are you now?"
Nanaya paused, thinking.
Honestly, the nine tailed beasts didn't directly make him much stronger. They had increased his spiritual energy and granted unique abilities—but overall, it was just extra support.
The real power boost would come once all nine were fused into the Ten Tails, sealed inside him as the Divine Tree. That would be the true turning point.
Still, since Harribel asked, Nanaya didn't hide anything.
"I'm not really sure," he said. "But we can test it."
Test it? How? Harribel blinked in confusion. Who's even strong enough to challenge him now?
She got her answer a second later.
BOOM!!!
A massive wave of Reiatsu burst forth, shaking the atmosphere.
It erupted from Nanaya like a collapsing sky, red spiritual energy exploding outwards—flaring like blood-red auroras across the heavens, or the sun crashing to earth.
His purple eyes gleamed, sharp and emotionless like those of a god gazing down at mortals.
Then a white and red fox mask appeared on his face—and the already overwhelming Reiatsu surged even higher.
The pressure carried a sinister edge, filled with dark rage, like the fury of the Nine Tails demon fox roaring through a bottomless abyss. It was wild and untamed, as if ready to destroy the world.
The earth around them cracked and split apart instantly under the weight of his power.
Nearby white tree trunks bent and groaned, struggling to remain standing.
Tier Harribel's pupils widened. Her knees buckled slightly under the pressure.
She couldn't believe it.
Just the Reiatsu alone was enough to overwhelm her completely. She was the Third Espada—one of the strongest in Hueco Mundo—and yet this spiritual pressure made it hard to even breathe.
Her body trembled, sweat forming on her bronze skin. Her waist began to lower as the pressure forced her down.
When Nanaya snapped back to awareness, he turned to see Harribel in a... surprisingly compromising position.
Without thinking, he placed a hand on the back of her head and ruffled her hair, muttering:
"Tia, I didn't know you were that bold… Everyone's watching, you know."
Harribel, usually cold and composed, turned bright red. She averted her gaze and gritted her teeth.
"Don't joke around… You're the one forcing me down with your spiritual pressure!"
Though she tried to push back, her heart was racing.
Growing up in Hueco Mundo, she had been raised with the law of the jungle—strength ruled everything. Shame and modesty were meaningless to Arrancar.
And now, standing before her was Nanaya. Not only powerful and composed… but also someone who had brought her real, undeniable pleasure in the battle of strength.
Even though she was the Third Espada… maybe… just maybe… she wouldn't mind being his subordinate.
She didn't say it aloud, but the thought lingered.
Nanaya, meanwhile, just gave her a relaxed smile and continued ruffling her hair.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say."
"Anyway, everyone should get ready. A big fight's coming soon."
Still under the weight of his Reiatsu, Harribel struggled to lift her head, her body trembling. Her face was still flushed, but she managed to glare at him and grumble:
"Nanaya… How long do you plan to keep holding me down!?"
