Chapter 112 - Chapter 112: Furious Battle, Killing The Seventh Espada Zommari Rureaux

How could you live in a place like this? Did you get hit on the head and lose your mind!?"

Tier Harribel shot Ichigo a sharp glare.

The former Kyūya Palace, while not as elegant as the Seireitei, was massive and visually overwhelming—its architecture grander than anything in Soul Society.

Now, it was nothing but a pile of ruins.

"There was a battle," Unohana Retsu said calmly, looking at the broken structure. "That meteorite is the result of the fight. I can also feel Nanaya's Reiatsu on it."

Her cheeks flushed slightly, and she unconsciously tightened her grip on her Zanpakutō.

"He's gotten even stronger…"

Rukia Kuchiki's face immediately darkened. She quickly cut in:

"Captain Unohana, please stay focused. We're still in Hueco Mundo."

If she were strong enough, she would have already smacked this woman for stealing her man.

Unohana just smiled silently.

After some searching, the group found a massive crack in the giant meteorite—wide enough to be called a canyon—and walked in.

The deeper they went, the louder the roars and clashing of metal became.

"They're still fighting!?" Ichigo's eyes narrowed.

He quickly pulled the Crescent Moon Quick-Blade from his back and charged ahead. The others followed right behind him.

As soon as they reached the end of the passage, they were momentarily stunned by what they saw.

In the center of the battlefield, a strange golden light shimmered in the air. On closer look, it wasn't light—it was phosphorus powder, floating everywhere.

Inside the glowing storm, a fast-moving figure darted back and forth.

Four Arrancar Menos Grande, all in their Resurrección forms, were trying to keep up. But even after transforming, they were clearly struggling.

"Is that... Nanaya's Hollow form!?"

Ichigo squinted at the powder cloud.

He could barely make out a figure wearing a white and red mask, with four pairs of wings growing from his back.

Each time he moved, scales fell from his wings, filling the air with golden dust.

"Hahaha! Is that all you've got!?"

In his Hollow state, Nanaya's eyes were crazed and wild, full of bloodlust. He swung a black staff wildly, attacking the four Arrancar relentlessly.

In one blur of movement, the black staff slashed across Ulquiorra's arm.

Ulquiorra's expression changed as he quickly backed away. He glanced at his wound and said coldly:

"Don't let that weapon touch you. Once it hits you, your body won't heal."

He was one of the few Arrancar Espada with High-Speed Regeneration, but the staff's strike was different—it left behind both Shinigami and Hollow energy, which canceled out his healing.

Nearby, Nnoitra, Szayelaporro, and Zommari were breathing heavily, faces grim.

"Damn human," Nnoitra growled. "He's lost his mind, but he's still this dangerous…"

None of them understood exactly what this new form of Nanaya was.

All they knew was that he wasn't using his weird powers anymore—he was just attacking head-on with raw strength and speed.

And even like that… he was beating them easily.

In a blur, Nanaya appeared behind Zommari.

His white-covered arm, like a Hollow's claw, pierced straight through Zommari's heart before he could even turn around.

"Aaargh!!!"

Zommari screamed in agony, the dozens of eyes on his body flashing wildly.

He didn't die right away. Through sheer will, he used Gemelos Sonído to make five copies of himself and tried to flee.

"Dââââ…"

Nanaya laughed maniacally, his Hollow mask twisting with joy. In a flash, he caught one of the clones.

"Die."

His clawed hand punched through another chest.

With a ripping sound, he tore the eyeball-covered torso apart.

Zommari shrieked again, but this time he was finished. He couldn't run anymore. His blood spilled across the ground.

"Impossible... how is he so fast... how did he find my real body...?"

His many eyes stared at Nanaya, full of fear and disbelief.

But Nanaya no longer cared. He was fighting on pure instinct now. With a flick of his hand, he threw Zommari's body aside like trash.

Though it all seemed to happen slowly, it had only taken seconds.

Ulquiorra and the others rushed in to help, only to see that Zommari had already fallen.

Then, Qiye's wings flapped—sending out a wave of shimmering golden scale powder.

"Ugh!" Szayelaporro cried out, shielding his eyes and stumbling back. "Damn it! This stupid powder—my eyes!!"

Ulquiorra and Nnoitra also had to retreat. Their faces were tense.

The powder released by Qiye in this form didn't just block vision—it also numbed their senses, making it almost impossible to track him.

"This is... nerve disruption and signal blocking," Ulquiorra said coldly. "He's not using spiritual energy or Shunpo—it's Hollow power. And it's more advanced than Zommari's abilities."

Szayelaporro and Nnoitra clenched their fists.

This human—a human—was using Hollow instincts, techniques, and power better than the Hollows themselves.

They couldn't stand it.

He's using our own nature to defeat us… and we still can't win.

Not far away, Zommari looked up at the sky in despair. His Reiatsu was fading quickly, down to nothing.

"Lord Aizen… I'm sorry…"

As the Seventh Espada, Zommari represented the aspect of death known as intoxication, and was known for having the fastest sonido among the Espada.

He was also the most loyal Menos Grande to Aizen Sōsuke—idolizing him with all his heart.

He never imagined he would die… at the hands of a human.

As Zommari's spiritual energy completely vanished, the remaining three Arrancar Menos Grande grew tense.

They hadn't expected one of their own to fall so quickly. Even though their emotions were dulled, a faint sense of grief began to rise within them.

"Is this still part of the fight against the Hollow inside him!?"

Kurosaki Ichigo finally understood what was going on.

His scalp tingled. Without hesitation, he charged forward.

He knew that once Nanaya entered this phase of inner combat, reason disappeared, and all actions were driven by pure instinct.

"Nanaya... You've become so powerful like this…"

Unohana Retsu bit her lower lip, her eyes locked on Nanaya. Her face turned red, and her expression grew hazy—like someone caught in a trance.

She couldn't help but start walking toward him, drawn by the fierce energy and raw strength.

"W-Wait! Captain Unohana, please calm down!"

Rukia Kuchiki quickly jumped over and hugged Unohana tightly from behind, pulling her back.

She couldn't let Unohana get anywhere near Nanaya right now.

After all, last time, Unohana had taken advantage of Nanaya's weakened state after a fight… and did something unforgivable.

(tln-tf u mean unforgiveable)

Rukia remembered it clearly—and it made her furious.

Holding Unohana back, she glared at Nanaya in frustration.

"Why are you fighting the Hollow inside you now of all times!?"

"Because this place is full of spiritual energy," came Byakuya Kuchiki's calm voice as he stepped forward. "He said that fighting the Menos Grande inside him here will make him even stronger."

"Stronger...? Against what?"

Byakuya's face darkened as he looked around at everyone.

"According to Nanaya, Aizen Sōsuke is confident he can defeat the Captain-Commander. That's why Nanaya is pushing himself beyond his limits."

"The old man? He could really lose!?"

Tier Harribel looked at Byakuya in disbelief.

As the former Third Espada, she knew true power—and she had witnessed Nanaya fight the Captain-Commander before.

She still remembered the terror of that battle.

The Ryūjin Jakka, with its endless flames sealed within, was strong enough to burn down the world.

Byakuya gave her a heavy look. His expression was filled with unease.

"I don't want to believe it either. But I can't ignore this feeling in my chest… something isn't right."

"Aizen Sōsuke is incredibly dangerous. He never makes a move unless everything is planned in advance."

He looked up toward the battlefield, his eyes fixed on Nanaya's chaotic Hollow form.

"Aizen spent hundreds of years preparing for this. Many captains were caught in his schemes. Some were turned into Hollows, some betrayed Soul Society."

"If he's finally making his move... then he must believe even the Captain-Commander can be defeated."

The thought made Byakuya uneasy.

He kept watching Nanaya, who was fighting like a wild beast.

"Nanaya said he'll become much stronger once he defeats the Menos Grande inside him…"

His voice turned into a whisper.

"But just how strong... will he become?"
