Itvashim and Hugo had secured the Blueprints from Jemima and Fergus respectively.
And this, of course, was when Darken Mysterius arrived.

"Wait, so you mean you want me to let this… 'Hugo guy' give up my Blueprint?"
"Don't make it easy, put up a bit of a… struggle?"
Fergus was confused, but Darken explained.
"Hugo is our inside Man. Think of it this way. If we stop the Dark Rizzards now, then they'll just find another way to get the EVP Blueprints later and all-in-all continue their Devious designs."
In fact, Darken's plans were, as expected, far more ambitious.
"Think of it like a rudder, or a horse's bit. They are small, seemingly insignificant things, but they can influence the whole direction of the ship or the horse…"
"But… can Hugo be trusted?"
"Well." Darken said calmly.
"That is what we're about to find out."
