Someone keeps shaking me awake.
"Gab."
"Gabriel."
"Jaehwi!."
I frowned. Getting fed up with the noise.
Who the hell keeps calling my name. I finally got some sleep after those hellish 4 hours moment in my life. It took me a while to take a nap because of my insomnia and yet someone is bothering me.
"Lee Jaehwi!."
"Piss off will you?!." I shouted, banging my palms against my desk.
"Whoa dude! What the hell I was just trying to wake you up since it's already lunch. Don't blame me if you'll starve." Caleb said.
"Damn it." I mumbled, sliding my fingers against my hair.
Sleep is starting to catch up to me right now. All the drowsiness from last night and the speech from the academy's head earlier has been bothering me. Damn this.
"Lol what kind of shit were you up to last night?" Aviel laughed.
"Let me guess? You were grinding up till the crack of dawn because of the game update right? Lmfao, so stupidd!." She added.
"I swear if you don't stop laughing I'll make sure that that'll be your last laughter you'll ever experience."
"Eep." She flinched and immediately covers her mouth.
"Pfft. You guys still haven't changed a bit huh?." Klaus spoke.
Aviel and Caleb gave Klaus a disgusted look.
"Ugh. I don't wanna hear it from you, Klaus." Aviel spoke disgusted.
"Eh?." Klaus tilted his head.
"Oh right. I forgot. You know the ranking of the entrance exam was just placed at the bulletin board in the hallway. Other students were just talking about it earlier when you were still asleep. Maybe you wanna check it out on our way to the cafeteria?" Caleb asked.
"I guess it wouldn't hurt to check." I stood up walking out of the classroom followed by Klaus, Aviel and Caleb.

This bulletin board is massive compared to the one at middle school. Now it made me curious just how amazing it'll be in the college campus when the academy is already this extravagant. Now lets see where's the ranking. Well it's not like i'm conscious about my grades since I already know i'm at second since my grandfather called me a day before yesterday. But still, It wouldn't hurt to know how did i do right?.

"Damn. Would you look at the that. Gabriel got second place. Sometimes I keep forgetting about the fact that you're smarter than you look. And it looks like I gotta pull my shit together now huh." Caleb said.
"Is that supposed to be a compliment or an insult?." I asked.
"Who knows?." Caleb shrugged with that annoying grin sticked in his face.
I only got 1 wrong huh? From the looks of the other students taking the exam, it seemed a bit harder for them. But it was just a piece of cake, which is why I kinda don't get it. I wonder which one of the questions I got wrong, and it seems to me that I have a tie at second place. To think it'll be Lucas himself. On the other hand getting a 100 in the entrance exam. This guy must've saved a thousand lives in his past life to be this gifted.
"Ah?! The hell! I'm at third place! and worse of all together with Zack!?? God has abandoned me!." A girl shrieked behind us.
"And it looks like Seb here clutched the top 1 this year again." She bit her handkerchief in envy.
Albinism? As I remember she was at the same class as us. Her name was Elizabeth right? She's a real beauty even up close. And most of all, there's totally a great resemblance between her and Sebastian. Nobody would be surprised if they ever confessed they were siblings, I mean who wouldn't? With those albinism traits, silver white hair and pale light skin, exept hers are not that severe compared to Sebastian's. The only difference between them is their gender and eye color.
"What did you expect. That guy is a total menance towards his studies. Bro doesn't even take a break." Isaac said.
"Ah you're totally right lol, but Lucas's situation is a bit surprising for me. I mean he's tied with someone else the in second place. That's definitely a very 100% surprising situation. I mean this guy has been the second best compared with Seb and that's an achievement there because many geniuses comes here in Lucian and Lucas beats them all. Even I couldn't catch up to the both of them." Elizabeth sighed.
"Ah Look! Speaking of the devil. It's the Lee Jaewhi himself!" She points.
"You remember me right? It's Elizabeth! My seat is just right in near you!." She added.
"Ah yes." I said smiled awkwardly.
"To think Lucas is tied with someone else. Lolll serves him right." She teasingly said as she puts her arm around his shoulder.
"Dang is this what I think it is?" Aviel whispered to Caleb.
"For real!" Caleb whispered back.
Well this is awkward. Look at those fools whispering as if their voice ain't that loud.
"Shut up Eli." Lucas replied slapping off Elizabeth's arm out from his shoulder.
Lucas has his eyes fixated on me, frowning. Like a predator setting his new prey in the wild.
"So your name was Jaewhi huh." He added, his gaze still fixated on me.
"Gabriel, actually." I answered, unwavered by his gaze.
"I'm gonna beat you next time and earn the second place just for me." He said pointing a finger at me then walked away.
"Ah wait up!." Elizabeth said chasing after him.
What the hell was that about?. Usually the person who gets the second place picks a fight against the one getting the first place, why is he picking a fight with me!?. It's as if that guy wasn't staring at me intensely during the entrance ceremony. What a darn weirdo.

"What the heck's wrong with you, Lucas??" Elizabeth asked still catching up to him in the hall way.
"It's none of your business." Lucas said walking as fast as he can with his ears turning red.

"First day of school and Gabriel here already has a beef with someone."
"Loll. Serves him right." Aviel snickered.
"No way. You're just being straight up bitter, Aviel." Caleb bluntly said.
Aviel was already laughing her ass out as soon as Lucas left together with Elizabeth. And now she's lunging towards Caleb. Klaus on the other hand was— wait, wait a second. Where the hell is Klaus??
