"A Yin Yang Twin Corpse?"
Narrowing her eyes, Su Min observed the bizarre scene before her with a mix of wariness and keen interest.
It was clear that this enemy had deliberately concealed his true nature, tricking even the perceptive Tianyang. These two weren't living beings in the conventional sense, they were corpses. Or more accurately, they were sophisticated puppets.
One was a Solar Sovereign Body, the other a Lunar Sovereign Body.
The man and woman standing before her were, in truth, a single entity, a soul split in two, inhabiting two broken, powerful vessels. Now, they could wield the combined, complementary power of Yin and Yang simultaneously.
"Hehehehe, you have got sharp eyes, little fairy."
The two puppets let out a grotesque, perfectly synchronized laugh in response to Su Min's sharp insight.
"I am more curious, what is it like to fuck yourself?"
Su Min's blunt, bizarre curiosity flared, and she blurted out a question that instantly froze the puppeteer's expression into a mask of stunned outrage. Then, under her bemused gaze, he exploded in incoherent rage.
"DIE!!!"
Almost instantly, the two corpses lunged at her from both sides with terrifying, flawless coordination. After their previous failure, where three Mahayana stage super divine beasts had been sent and defeated, they had realized that another formidable expert had entered the Dark Universe.
Someone capable of fighting at the Mahayana level in this harsh environment had to be a peerless genius. So, to eliminate such a rising threat, they had deliberately laid this trap. This was precisely why they had deployed this specific existence. Under the combined, relentless assault of the Solar Sovereign and Lunar Sovereign Bodies, even the strongest cultivators would typically perish.
Though the two corpses were damaged and spiritually decayed, their raw combat power remained immense.
BOOM!!!
A dull, powerful impact echoed through the void as Su Min was sent flying backward, a thin trickle of blood escaping her lips.
"The combined might of Yin and Yang, no joke."
Gritting her teeth against the sharp pain radiating through her arms, Su Min's expression darkened considerably.
The Five Elements Sacred Body had no inherent advantage over the primordial forces of Yin and Yang, meaning her usual elemental resistances were useless here. Worse, the two puppets amplified each other's power through a deep Yin Yang Resonance, giving her a clear disadvantage in that first direct clash.
"But this, is also an opportunity."
Yet, Su Min wasn't panicked. A strange calm settled over her.
In her eyes, this was a rare, priceless chance to fully experience the essence of both Yin and Yang at the same time. Under normal, universal laws, true Yin and Yang could never coexist in one place. This was the only moment she could feel both supreme forces simultaneously. So, with a flick of her wrist, a small, unassuming porcelain vial appeared in her palm.
Inside was Xie Yingying's precious essence blood. Before leaving, the possessive woman had forced three drops into her hands. Su Min had initially refused, after all, her Five Elements Holy Body was already overwhelmingly powerful, and essence blood was incredibly precious. Three drops would not cripple Xie Yingying, but it would still take her time to recover. In the end, Su Min had accepted them only after giving Xie Yingying some of her most potent recovery pills in return.
Now was the time to use them.
Lunar against Lunar. Solar against Solar.
Combined with the Solar Sovereign Ancient Scripture she had inherited and the complete Lunar Sovereign Ancient Scripture she had obtained from Xie Yingying,
This was the perfect opportunity.
Moreover, her control over Taiyang Qi had strengthened, it was no longer limited to a mere three minutes. She could now maintain this enhanced state for an entire day.
So, without any further hesitation, she consumed a drop.
"What did you just do?!" x2
The puppeteer's twin voices rang out in unified shock as they watched Su Min, who had just been forced back, suddenly undergo a radical transformation.
Her vibrant Five Elements Sacred Body aura seemed suppressed, and from her body erupted two terrifyingly familiar auras.
Lunar Sovereign Body. Solar Sovereign Body.
Both supreme traits now radiated from Su Min simultaneously.
"How?!"
The puppeteer's mind reeled, unable to process the contradiction.
Su Min was demonstrably alive, not a corpse, not a puppet. How could a single living being possess both Yin and Yang?
And how could she possibly wield Solar Sovereign Body traits? Was she secretly a man?
But no, her Lunar Sovereign Body aura was pure and unmistakable.
This defied all known cosmic laws.
While the puppeteer spiraled into confusion, Su Min felt something else entirely, a blissful, harmonious power.
For the first time in centuries, she entered a state of profound, effortless enlightenment. The universe itself seemed to hum and resonate with her. Even the corrupting dark energy of this realm bent and flowed to her will, as if she had become one with the Heavenly Dao itself. The last time she had felt this was back during her Nascent Soul and Divine Transformation days, when every breakthrough was a new revelation.
Now, at Unity mid stage, with her path seemingly set, she had almost forgotten this sensation. With the Five Elements Sacred Body now fully matured, she rarely needed this kind of desperate fusion.
But now, with her Taiyang Qi enhanced and Xie Yingying's potent Unity stage essence blood fueling her, the feeling was completely different, more profound. As her body transformed, the Lunar and Solar Sovereign Ancient Scriptures began actively merging within her soul.
Only one word echoed in her mind, a legend from the oldest texts.
Chaos.
This was the legendary Chaos Body, a supreme constitution that could theoretically command all laws of existence, born from the perfect, impossible fusion of Yin and Yang.
In a universe where Yin and Yang could never meet naturally, such a body was supposed to be impossible to create. Only flawless, perfect Solar Sovereign and Lunar Sovereign Bodies could theoretically achieve this. The puppeteer's broken, corrupted corpses could never reach this level. Of course, Su Min knew she was still far from a true Chaos Body.
Right now, she was merely in a temporary state of Yin Yang Fusion. In terms of raw, brute power, it was not a drastic improvement over her complete Five Elements Sacred Body.
But against this specific enemy?
It was infinitely more effective.
"Yin and Yang seize creation. Heaven and Earth converge in this moment."
As Su Min whispered those ancient words, the surrounding space itself shifted. The endless darkness of the void turned a murky gray white, saturated with dense, swirling Yin and Yang energy. A colossal, invisible cage of these primordial forces solidified, trapping the two puppets inside. If Su Min was going to use this power, she would not let them escape alive.
"You?!"
The puppeteer's face, visible through the connection to both corpses, twisted in panic as he sensed the unbreakable Yin Yang Prison locking around them.
He had never, ever expected this.
Something beyond his comprehension was happening, and the only rational response was to flee and report this anomaly to the Ancient Ones. But Su Min had no intention of letting that happen. Worse yet, she was wielding the complete, unobstructed Lunar and Solar Sovereign Ancient Scriptures, knowledge he himself lacked.
His soul had split to inhabit these two corpses, inheriting only fragmented, incomplete memories of the scriptures. Fighting her head on now was suicide. He had planned to simply overwhelm her with the amplified power of Yin and Yang, but now,
He was the one being completely outmatched.
But with no visible escape route, he had no choice but to fight to the death.
As a born being of the Dark Universe, his raw survival instincts were inferior to those fragment kings who had clawed their way up through constant betrayal and slaughter. His combat IQ was notably lacking, a true schemer would never have confronted Su Min so recklessly in the first place.
"No running. Face me."
Su Min's voice was ice cold, devoid of all emotion as she raised both hands,
Lunar energy coalescing in her left. Solar energy blazing in her right.
She struck out, hitting both puppets simultaneously with overwhelming force.
Lunar against Lunar. Solar against Solar.
BOOOOOOM!!!
Within thousands of kilometers, space itself trembled and shrieked under the violent clash of identical, opposing forces.
In this universe, Yin and Yang were unique, sovereign.
Only one of each could exist at any given time, the next would take tens of thousands of years to naturally manifest.
No cultivator, not even a long lived Mahayana expert, lived that long.
Thus, a battle between two Solar Sovereign Bodies or two Lunar Sovereign Bodies was unheard of, a theoretical impossibility.
Yet here it was, happening before their eyes, two identical primordial energies colliding, unleashing pure, annihilative power.
A nearby dwarf planet, accidentally caught within the periphery of Su Min's spatial seal, shattered into fine dust instantly, as if it had been erased from existence by a cosmic hand.
"You?!"
While Su Min remained relatively unharmed, shielded by her own balanced energy, the puppeteer's face twisted in shared agony. His synchronized puppets meant that damage to one was fully shared by the other. The violent backlash from the elemental clash had effectively doubled the injuries he suffered. If Su Min had been at the Mahayana stage herself, that one strike would have permanently crippled him.
"YOU BITCH!!!"
With a furious, dual toned roar, he summoned his ultimate weapons, two gleaming swords that radiated immense power.
[Yin Yang Twin Swords (Heaven grade peak)]
A matched pair of swords, one brimming with Yin energy, the other with Yang. The better the coordination and harmony between the wielders, the greater their combined power.
A rare and incredibly demanding artifact, but it was perfect for him. After all, no duo in existence could possibly match the perfect synchronization of a single soul controlling two bodies.
"Yin Yang Fusion!!!"
In an instant, the two puppets slammed together, merging into a single form, just like when Su Min had first seen them emerge. Now, they resembled her, a single being wielding both Yin and Yang simultaneously. This was clearly his final, desperate trump card.
But then,
"What the hell is this, half male, half female abomination?"
Su Min could not help but burst out laughing, the sound echoing strangely in the silent void.
She was over a thousand years old, she had seen many strange things.
But this?
This was genuinely new.
The fusion was crude and unstable, as if someone had literally cut both bodies in half and crudely glued the mismatched pieces together. The result was a grotesque, visibly unbalanced monstrosity.
This was not true Yin Yang Fusion, compared to her own harmonized state, it was laughably inferior. But even as she mocked him, her hands never stopped moving, her own weapons clashing against his with world ending force. Another cataclysmic explosion of raw energy erupted between them.
Lunar vs. Lunar. Solar vs. Solar. Solar vs. Lunar.
In that singular moment of ultimate confrontation, Su Min felt as if she had glimpsed something profound, a secret of the universe etched into the violent meeting of opposites.
