Chapter 23 - Chapter 23:Dedication

Looking at the fragrant foods one after another, Kamisato Ayaka felt the dedication. After all, the other person didn't know what she wanted at first, they had just asked, but they were able to immediately prepare foreign cuisine, showing that they had made a lot of preparations in advance.

She asked with a smile, "Don't you need to collect Mora?"

The stall owner of the food stall said, "Beautiful lady, you are as dazzling as the stars and moon. Your arrival has brought new vitality to this island, so you can enjoy the food here for free."

Kamisato Ayaka sat down in front of the stall. "In that case, I won't be polite."

She put down the umbrella in her hand.

The food stall had made many preparations in advance. There was enough shelter on the stall to keep the rain out, and the chairs in front of the stall were dry and soft.

Sitting here, Kamisato Ayaka held the Mondstadt Potato Pancake in both hands and gently ate it.

"Delicious, like the softness of a gentle breeze, like the sweetness of dew," Kamisato Ayaka said as she ate.

"There's also milk next to you," the stall owner thoughtfully brought over a cup of fragrant hot milk.

Kamisato Ayaka was very satisfied with the current situation.

Even if this festival ended here, it wouldn't be bad. Compared to other things, that intention was the most pleasing.

For a moment, Kamisato Ayaka immersed herself in the delicious food.

When she had eaten enough food and looked up, she found that the stall owner of the food stall had disappeared.

Turning her head, she saw that there was another person wearing a fox mask at another stall not far away. The fox mask had blue patterns on it.

Kamisato Ayaka picked up her umbrella and walked over.

"Would the guest like to draw a fortune slip? It's free!" said the person wearing the fox mask.

"Alright, let's have one," Kamisato Ayaka said with a smile.

The person wearing the fox mask handed over a bamboo cylinder filled with fortune sticks with both hands.

Kamisato Ayaka looked at the cylinder and then at the hands holding it. The hands looked red at the moment, clearly frozen, but they still held the cylinder steadily.

Were they frozen so red to hold this festival?

Thinking this, Kamisato Ayaka drew a slip.

"Congratulations, guest, you've drawn a 'Great Blessing'," said the person wearing the fox mask with a smile. "This slip means that the heavens have divine power, the weather will be favorable, everything will flourish, and you will continue to have good luck."

Kamisato Ayaka smiled happily upon hearing this. "I am very satisfied with this result."

She put away the slip and then looked at the person wearing the fox mask. After leaving a smile, she went to the next stall.

On the way, she closed her eyes, making herself unable to see anything. After a while, she opened her eyes and was already at the next stall. A person wearing a fox mask appeared behind the stall, and the fox mask was of course a new color.

"This is a stall selling ema. Come and write down your wishes," said the person wearing the fox mask, handing over a five-sided wooden plaque.

"A wish?" Kamisato Ayaka held the wooden plaque.

The so-called ema was to leave one's wishes on it in the form of words or pictures, and then hang it on the ema rack next to it.

While pondering, Kamisato Ayaka picked up a pen and drew a building on the wooden plaque.

"Is this Tenshukaku?" asked the stall owner wearing the fox mask.

"Yes," Kamisato Ayaka nodded. "My wish is that everyone in Inazuma can be safe and happy, and that my family and friends are all healthy. I hope this wish can come true."

"It will come true," the stall owner wearing the fox mask said seriously. "It definitely will."

"Yes, thank you for your kind words," Kamisato Ayaka nodded with a smile.

Then Kamisato Ayaka came to the ema rack next to her and hung her wish on it.

After hanging the ema, Kamisato Ayaka turned around and found that the person wearing the fox mask had disappeared again, this time she didn't know where they had gone.

She continued forward.

She saw petals falling in profusion, fluttering in the air, appearing somewhat dreamlike under the hazy light of the lanterns.

Clearly the wind was still blowing and the rain was still falling, but it was made to have such a festive atmosphere.

"Whoosh whoosh whoosh!"

"Boom boom boom!"

Suddenly, a rumbling sound came from the distant sky, and the sky suddenly brightened.

Kamisato Ayaka looked up in surprise and saw fireworks rising in the distance, exploding after reaching high altitude, turning into brilliant fireworks in the sound.

The fireworks that could bloom even in the rain were naturally from Naganohara Fireworks.

Kamisato Ayaka couldn't help but quicken her pace, walking up the stone steps ahead. After passing a few steps, she arrived at the highest point of Kannazuka, standing under a cherry blossom tree.

Beyond was a high cliff, and below the cliff was the ocean.

She stood beside the cherry blossom tree, looking up at the blooming fireworks, only feeling her heart become tranquil with the blooming fireworks. The impatience that had been lurking deep within her for many days dissipated with each blooming firework, and her mood also improved.

"Is it still considered good-looking?" a voice came from beside her.

Hearing the voice, Kamisato Ayaka turned her head and saw Zeyan had arrived here at some point. Although he was still wearing the fox mask, he no longer covered his face with it, but wore it on the side of his head.

Seeing Kamisato Ayaka looking over, Zeyan showed a smile.

Why hold a festival for two?

Perhaps it was out of guilt. He had dragged the other person into such a deserted??, making them feel great suffering. No matter what, Zeyan still felt somewhat guilty and only hoped to make up for it a little.

"This is a very perfect festival. The festivals I have seen before don't seem to compare to this one," Kamisato Ayaka said with a smile, giving her evaluation.

It wasn't that the previous festivals were really bad, but this festival touched her heart and moved her the most.

So it was also destined that no festival would leave a deeper impression on her than this one.

After saying this with a smile, Kamisato Ayaka continued to look at the sky, watching the exploding fireworks, seeing the light there tear through the darkness, illuminating the sky and the sea.

"Tasting thoughts, this world is like a stone; who knows the floating world's affairs, it's hard to stay." Kamisato Ayaka said subconsciously, then quickly added, "Sorry, it's clearly a time to be happy, but I remembered such a sad poem. This festival is too delightful, it even makes me afraid that this is a dream, really... how impolite of me."

Looking at the bowed head of Kamisato Ayaka, Zeyan said softly, "Miss Kamisato, please allow me to be presumptuous."

As he spoke, he reached out his hand and grasped Kamisato Ayaka's soft, fair hand.

This sudden action made Kamisato Ayaka raise her head in surprise, her face slightly flushed, seemingly not understanding what Zeyan was doing by holding her hand at this moment.
