Whoosh—
"It's useless! Drop dead!"
Before the flames could even dissipate, Enel's muffled roar vibrated through the air. A colossal spear of lightning tore through the thick fire, wrapped in a fierce gale like a divine judgment descending from the heavens as it swept toward Borsalino.
"Truly a monster..."
Borsalino's eyes narrowed as he saw Enel in his True Amaru form charging out of the inferno. The titanic body seemed practically unscathed.
Faced with the terrifying momentum of the lightning spear, Borsalino chose not to meet it head-on. He transformed into light, effortlessly bypassing the spear's path to appear directly above Enel's head.
"Light Speed Kick!!"
His right leg erupted with a brilliant golden glow, slamming instantly into the Thunder God's head.
BANG!
A dull, heavy sound, like a giant bronze bell being struck, echoed across the island. The Thunder God's head was snapped back by the force, the momentum threatening to topple the massive body.
Thump! Thump! Thump! Thump!
Enel staggered back several steps, only managing to steady his towering frame after a desperate struggle for balance.
"You insolent pest!"
Enel was consumed by rage. His massive form erupted with blinding electricity, seemingly drawing power directly from the roiling storm clouds above.
"PERISH! 200 Million Volts: True Thunder Dragon!!"
Rumble—! Rumble—!
Accompanying Enel's guttural roar was the sound of violent thunder. The lightning within the black clouds surged as if in a riot, churning and twisting frantically.
KABOOM!
In an instant, the sky flashed with blinding intensity. A massive, near-solid dragon of lightning descended. In a mere thousandth of a second, it struck Borsalino's position.
Electrical arcs danced wildly across the area, and for a moment, Borsalino was engulfed, becoming a living pillar of flashing white light.
"Yahahaha! Die! Die!"
Enel laughed triumphantly, his booming cackle radiating outward in powerful sonic waves.
"Now, now... young man. I am a Logia user, and I am a Marine Admiral."
Suddenly, Borsalino's slow, drawling voice drifted through the air once more. Unbeknownst to Enel, the Admiral had already escaped the electrical torrent and appeared atop the giant's head.
"I've found your weakness. Ama no Murakumo!!"
Countless photons converged into the legendary light-sword, gripped firmly in Borsalino's hand as he slashed down at Enel's head.
CLANG!
The blade of light slammed into the Tengu armor protecting Enel's head. The impact rang out like a divine strike; the sword, seemingly sharper than any physical blade, managed to slice right through the hardened plasma of the True Amaru's armor.
"What?!"
Enel was shocked. He never expected his Tengu armor, formed from materialized lightning, to be breached so easily.
Borsalino was equally surprised. Although he had identified the "weakness," the core concentration of the giant's form, the armor was far sturdier than he anticipated. His full-power strike had only managed to cleave the plating without reaching the user's actual body.
"GET OFF ME!"
Startled, Enel swung a massive palm toward his head to swat Borsalino away.
"What terrifying defense..."
Snapping out of his momentary daze, Borsalino reacted instantly, turning into a golden flash and slipping through Enel's massive fingers back into the sky.
On the other side of the battlefield...
"Airquake!!"
Aeridar's right fist was encased in a white, spherical pressure bubble. He swung, striking the air itself.
CRACK!
Rumble—!
The air fractured like glass, dozen of cracks spider-webbing across the sky. The powerful vibration force traveled through the atmosphere; the ground below shattered instantly, throwing up a curtain of dust and debris.
As the dust settled, the earth for hundreds of meters around had been reduced to ruins. Trees were uprooted, jagged stones pulverized. Malha was nowhere to be seen, buried under a heap of dirt, rocks, and splintered wood.
Malha was clearly no match for Aeridar. While his decomposition ability was something Aeridar respected, Aeridar's 'teleportation' allowed him to easily bypass any decomposition rays thrown his way.
"Dammit... I won't... I won't die like this!"
Malha crawled out from the debris, covered in blood and looking utterly pathetic.
"No. Today, you definitely die here."
Aeridar appeared before Malha like a ghost. His fist, coated in pitch-black Armament Haki, swung ruthlessly toward the man's face.
"Decomposition: Barrier Art!!"
A cruel sneer touched Malha's lips, seemingly ignoring the incoming fist. He clapped his hands together and pulled them apart; a translucent green cube appeared between his palms.
In the next heartbeat, the cube expanded instantly, swallowing Aeridar whole, trapping him like a prisoner in a cage.
"What?!"
Aeridar's pupils shrank to pinpricks. An unprecedented sense of dread washed over him. Without a second thought, he released a burst of impact force to compress the surrounding air into a shield and triggered his spatial movement.
HUM—
At that exact moment, the cube flared with a blinding green light.
"That was too close!"
Aeridar reappeared over a hundred meters away, cold sweat dripping down his face as he stared at the source of the green radiance. When the light faded, the cube returned to its original size before dissipating into nothingness.
"Particle Style? Are you kidding me?" Aeridar thought, wiping the sweat from his brow. "If that had hit me, would I have been disintegrated at the atomic level?"
"Die! Decomposition: Barrier Art!!"
Malha clapped again, creating a small green cylinder this time. He thrust his hands forward, and the cylinder extended at high speed, forming a beam nearly two meters in diameter that shot straight toward Aeridar.
Aeridar didn't dare block it. He used 'teleportation' to vanish once more.
Every object the green cylinder touched, be it ancient trees or solid boulders, was erased from existence, decomposed into atoms.
A semicircular trench appeared in the earth, hundreds of meters long. The inside of the trench was unnervingly smooth, as if it had been carved out by a laser.
Just then, a golden flash landed beside Malha. Borsalino appeared, facing Aeridar.
At the same time, the massive lightning giant that was Enel began to rapidly shrink. The vast energy seemed to vaporize into thin air. Enel stood on the scorched earth, his face pale and several bloody gashes marking his body. He looked utterly drained.
"This... is unexpected."
Seeing Enel in such a state, Aeridar's expression turned grim.
It was clear: Enel had lost.
He hadn't bought Aeridar enough time to finish Malha.
"I'm sorry..."
Enel found the words hard to say, his voice thick with shame.
In truth, if he had simply used his lightning speed to stall Borsalino, he could have succeeded. But after being struck a few times, his pride and arrogance got the better of him. Blinded by rage, he insisted on showing off his ultimate power to crush the Admiral head-on.
The 1 Billion Volts: True Amaru mode was an improved version of his previous 400 million volt form, and technically his strongest move, possessing raw destructive power comparable to a Yonko.
However, the stamina consumption was astronomical. He couldn't maintain it for long, and because he hadn't mastered the form, it was all power and no speed.
Under Borsalino's relentless, high-speed harassment, his "True Amaru" body had eventually crumbled.
