Chapter 267 - Chapter 268: The Heavenly Yaksha's Arrival

"Is this... glass?"

Felix Gregory frowned, staring at the three translucent, patterned spears before him.

Then, Gregory turned his head to look at the sea.

A semi-transparent small boat slowly approached the shore, carrying only one person.

The important detail was this person: a handsome man of around thirty with long silver hair, dressed in a silver suit and trousers with black lines and green star patterns, dark red leather shoes, and a translucent ring with silver threads woven inside on his right pinky finger. The silver threads within formed the words "Glass" and "Duke," and his entire being exuded an aristocratic air.

"Duke - Garfield Caesar!!!"

Gregory's face was ashen, his muscles taut, as if he'd just seen a ferocious beast.

"Since you recognize me, this will be easy. So, Agent-san, can you hand over Devin Hubert?" The dark red leather shoes stepped onto the sandy beach as the aristocratic man spoke politely, his voice rich and magnetic.

"Duke!" Basel managed to struggle to his feet, blood still trickling from his mouth, clearly gravely wounded.

"I didn't expect you to come personally. This is quite a miscalculation. I should've called some of the CP0 guys earlier," Gregory slowly stated, his tone very heavy.

This guy in front of him was a great pirate with a bounty of 570 million Berries, a Paramecia-type Glass-Glass Fruit user, possessing immense power capable of single-handedly destroying a nation. He was a monster overflowing with brute force.

"CP0?"

Garfield showed a puzzled expression, thought for a moment, then realized, "Those guys in white cloaks with strange masks... I did take one down; they had decent strength."

"Tch~ Three pirate crews, five large warships (one sunk), and even you've personally deployed, making such a grand gesture. However, I only need to stall you."

Gregory spoke honestly. He had already called for reinforcements, so all he needed to do was keep Garfield busy.

Immediately, Gregory moved, instantly vanishing from his spot.

"Another Rokushiki move~ Behold! Silver Glass Sword!"

Garfield smirked wickedly, a large mass of translucent glass surging from his right hand. It quickly molded, forming a semi-transparent cross-shaped longsword with countless silver threads swirling within its blade.

Suddenly, Gregory appeared before Garfield, his Armament Haki-hardened fist striking out directly, while the longsword in Garfield's hand was already cutting towards him.

Clang!

Rumble!

Fist and sword clashed in an instant. The impact force transformed into an incredibly fierce whirlwind, mixing with the yellow sand to form a sandstorm. The surrounding air became chaotic, almost forming visible shockwaves that spread outwards.

"Ah~ What's happening?"

"Run, the Duke is fighting!"

"Are... are they monsters?"

"Damn it, this power... going in there means death!"

Dozens of pirates and Marines were violently flung away by the whirlwind-like shockwaves, like straw dancing in the wind. Some were even thrown over ten meters high. Of course, falling from that height would leave them half-dead.

"Such power, even a Marine Vice Admiral wouldn't be this strong. You're probably not an ordinary agent," Garfield said, wielding his cross-shaped glass longsword. His formidable strength allowed him to utilize his exquisite swordsmanship to its fullest. His casual slashes indicated he was a powerful swordsman, no less than a Sword Master.

"As expected of a New World monster!"

Gregory's arms and legs were covered in blackened Armament Haki. He unleashed the Rokushiki indiscriminately, without much intricate technique, just raw, lethal application of the individual forms.

Clang, clang! Thud, thud!

Rumble, rumble, rumble...

"Rankyaku: Broken Moon!"

Gregory roared, kicking out. A crescent-shaped slash, three meters high, shot forth.

"A mere slash!"

Garfield sneered, placing his left hand on the ground. A large amount of glass surged forth, forming a thick, translucent glass wall that rose up, blocking his front.

Glass: Steel-Glass Wall!

Clang!

The vacuum slash struck the thick glass wall, leaving a long gash an inch deep but failing to break through its defenses.

"My turn now."

Garfield's lips curled. He placed a hand on the thick glass wall, and instantly, the glass began to deform, transforming into dozens of half-meter-long translucent short spears that shot out one after another.

Glass: Spear Barrage!

Swish, swish, swish, swish...

Facing dozens of sharp glass spears, Gregory's body flickered continuously, dodging one glass spear after another. Any he couldn't dodge, he simply shattered with his fists.

"...Oh, for heaven's sake..."

"What is that?"

"My leg!"

"Ugh~"

Suddenly, screams erupted from behind Gregory. He looked back to see that the glass spears had pierced some of the Marines. Some died instantly, while others were pinned to the ground, severely wounded.

Without time to worry about the Marines, Gregory flashed directly in front of Garfield, his blackened index finger thrusting towards the other's throat.

Clang!

Garfield parried with his sword, Gregory's index finger landing on the sword's spine. The impact force became a wave of air, spreading outwards in ripples.

"Let's see you dodge this! Glass Barrier!" Garfield roared.

Rumble!

In an instant, glass surged from the ground. Four translucent glass walls, over ten meters high, rose up, completely enclosing Garfield and Gregory.

"...The sky!"

Gregory reacted quickly, immediately retracting his hand and retreating. He used Geppo to run towards the sky.

"Die!"

Garfield clenched his left fist. The upper half of the four translucent glass walls began to protrude, forming a dozen sharp long spears that continuously extended towards the center.

"Damn it~"

Gregory realized that if he continued to ascend, he would definitely be impaled by these spears. With no other option, he had to return to the ground.

Thud!

Reluctantly, Gregory spun around, his Armament Haki-covered fist smashing into the nearly twenty-centimeter thick glass barrier, instantly creating a large web of cracks like a spiderweb across that section of glass.

Whoosh!

Suddenly, a hot, thick line descended from the sky, cutting through a corner of the glass wall as easily as a hot knife through butter.

"This is..."

Garfield paused slightly, looking up at the sky.

A blond man in a pink feather coat descended from the sky, landing precisely on top of the glass barrier, hovering in mid-air.

"One of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, Heavenly Yaksha, Donquixote Doflamingo!"

Garfield frowned deeply, clearly recognizing the newcomer. "Are you here to stir up trouble too?"

One of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, the man known as the Heavenly Yaksha. While the Yonko might not regard him highly, Garfield wasn't at that level yet, so he found this development rather troublesome.
