Hey guys.
The next chapter will be the final one of this saga.
I will be taking a break after I finish this saga because the next saga will be the third ninja war saga.
I am taking a break because I first need to do some research on the main battles of the 3rd ninja war.
Secondly, I think I deserve a break after all the efforts I put into this fanfic.
I would appreciate it if you could share the main battles of the Third Ninja War with me, assuming you are familiar with them.
Thanks in advance.

________
The next morning, after finishing her breakfast and freshening up, Yukina changed into a fresh set of clothes before stepping out of the King's palace, accompanied by the Dire Wolves King and his supreme elders.
They arrived before the tallest mountain in the Dire Wolves' realm, its slopes curiously untouched by ice.
The Dire Wolves king smirked as he turned to Yukina. "This mountain is called the Cloud Piercing Mountain. Your trial is simple—climb to its peak without using a single drop of chakra."
Yukina was left speechless, for the mountain rose so high that its peak was swallowed by clouds, hidden far beyond sight.
The Dire Wolves king continued, "Be warned—this trial is very harsh for humans. Even Yamamoto-dono nearly failed when he attempted it. With each step you ascend, the gravity around the Cloud Piercing Mountain will grow ever heavier."
"While you ascend the mountain, brutal icy winds will lash at you, threatening to hurl you from its slopes, and razor-edged shards of ice will occasionally rain down at you, those ice shards are too sturdy and sharp they are capable of slicing through flesh. Be prepared."
"Remember, you are forbidden from using anything related to chakra in this trial. Am I clear?"
After hearing his explanation, Yukina tilted her head, a crazed smirk curling across her lips as she gave the Dire Wolves king a slow, deliberate nod.
Yukina then advanced without hesitation, beginning her climb up the towering Cloud Piercing Mountain, relying only on her body's strength.
Yukina's muscles strained with every step as she climbed the Cloud Piercing Mountain, and with each upward stride, the mountain's gravity seemed to press down on her even harder.
Suddenly, a hail of ice shards, sharp enough to cut through steel, rained down upon her at frightening speed.
"SWISH, SWISH, SWISH, SWISH."
"PU, PU, PU, PU."
Yukina gritted her teeth in pain as the ice shards tore into her flesh, cutting and stabbing her in multiple places.
"Damn it! These ice shards are too fast and sharp to dodge. I have to focus."
Yukina began sweating profusely as she climbed, ignoring both the piercing pain of the ice shards and the crushing strain of the mountain's gravity.
Her strength began to drain from her body, yet her eyes blazed with determination as she pressed onward, refusing to back down.
Right now, Yukina felt as if every muscle in her body were being crushed under an invisible weight, each one on the verge of being torn to shreds.
Gritting her teeth against the searing pain, Yukina pressed onward up the mountain, refusing to yield.
Suddenly, a merciless gust of icy wind tore through her, yanking her from the mountain and sending her plummeting downward at breathtaking speed.
"SHEW."
Yukina let out a sharp curse as the icy gust yanked her from the mountain's edge, sending her hurtling downward.
As she plummeted, Yukina twisted midair, flipping with precision, and landed on the ground with effortless grace.
Yukina's eyes narrowed as they fixed on the Cloud Piercing Mountain. "I'm not strong enough to climb that… not yet." She exhaled, determination simmering beneath her frustration. "But I can try again later. First, I have to train my body—prepare myself fully before facing this trial again."
Yukina then heard the Dire Wolves king say, "Don't be discouraged, girl. You still have many opportunities ahead. Now, extend your arm—I will mark you with a reverse summoning tattoo."
Yukina frowned in confusion. "A reverse summoning tattoo? I've never even heard of such a thing," she said.
The Dire Wolves king nodded and explained, "A reverse summoning tattoo is a mark bestowed by the leader of a summoning tribe upon its chosen contractor. With it, the contractor can summon themselves directly into the tribe's realm."
"To bestow the tattoo upon you, I will bite you, swallow some of your blood, and mark you with my saliva."
Disgusted by the process, Yukina continued listening to the Dire Wolves king's explanation.
"This tattoo will be temporary. If you successfully complete all future trials, I will grant you a permanent summoning and reverse summoning tattoo when you sign the summoning contract scroll."
Yukina sighed and nodded in understanding. She then extended her right arm toward the Dire Wolves king, who bit down without hesitation.
After swallowing some of Yukina's blood and marking her with his saliva, the Dire Wolves king released her arm.
In the next moment, a black, vicious-looking wolf head tattoo appeared on Yukina's right arm.
Yukina smiled as she looked at the tattoo. 'This is pretty cool—I like it,' she thought.
Yukina then heard the Dire Wolves king say, 'Girl, listen closely. To reverse-summon yourself here, you must learn the Reverse Summoning Jutsu. I will teach you this jutsu now.'
"To perform the reverse summoning Jutsu, you must first apply some of your blood to the reverse summoning tattoo I just gave you and then execute the reverse summoning hand seal sequence."
After finishing his explanation, the Dire Wolves king faced Yukina and carefully demonstrated the hand seal sequences of the Reverse Summoning Jutsu, his movements precise and deliberate as she watched intently.
After hearing the Dire Wolves king's explanation, Yukina quickly memorized the hand seal sequence and grasped the chakra molding method required for the reverse summoning Jutsu.
Yukina then began practicing the hand seals for the reverse summoning Jutsu when, suddenly, Bright materialized before her out of thin air.
When Yukina saw Bright, she beamed and said, "Hey, little guy! Where have you been? Can you teach me your camouflage jutsu? It sounds like a really interesting jutsu."
Bright smirked proudly at Yukina after hearing her request. "Of course I can teach you. I am Bright—the future strongest General of the Dire Wolves clan. Nothing is impossible for me."
"BAAM."
"OUCH, THAT HURT."
Fear gripped Bright, and he shivered as Saigo's eyes narrowed in anger.
The Dire Wolves king chuckled when he saw Saigo preparing to scold Bright. "Relax, Saigo," he said. "Little Bright seems to have sparked quite the idea."
The supreme elders all turned toward the Dire Wolves king, their faces etched with confusion.
Saigo then asked the Dire Wolves king, "your Majesty, what do you mean?"
The Dire Wolves king smiled and said, "teaching a human our Dire Wolves-style Jutsus is forbidden—unless they first enter into a contract with us, as mandated by the ancient laws of our ancestors."
"Nevertheless, an exception can be made for Yukina, as she is far younger than Yamamoto-dono was when he attempted the trials, and she has successfully completed two of them."
"Additionally, the camouflage jutsu is a low-rank jutsu of our Dire Wolves style, so it is not a big deal teaching this low-rank jutsu to Yukina."
Saigo sighed when he heard this and nodded his head in understanding.
The Dire Wolves king gazed at Yukina. 'Girl, I will now teach you the camouflage jutsu you wished to learn, but first, there is something important you must remember.'
"You'll need to retrain your chakra control; your chakra has grown considerably and become much denser than before."
Yukina nodded, understanding dawning on her as her hidden sense confirmed the changes in her chakra.
The Dire Wolves king then demonstrated the hand seals for the camouflage jutsu to Yukina and explained the chakra molding method required to perform it.
Yukina memorized the hand seals and diligently practiced them several times.
After mastering the hand seals, Yukina turned to the Dire Wolves king. "Wolf King, may I stay here for a week? I want to retrain my chakra control and perfect the final exercise of the Water Change in Chakra Nature before returning to my village."
The Dire Wolves king smiled and nodded at Yukina. 'That is fine with me, girl; Bright will accompany you for now, and if you need anything, you can ask him.'
Yukina nodded in gratitude to the Dire Wolves king, and in the next moment, he and the other supreme elders vanished in a blur.
Yukina pulled the ice shards from her body and turned to Bright. "Hey, Bright, can you take me to the biggest waterfall here? I need it to train my chakra control."
Bright smirked and nodded. "Follow me. The waterfall isn't far from here."
Yukina smiled and they both disappeared in a blur.
______
After 10 minutes
Yukina and Bright arrived before a breathtakingly huge waterfall, its roaring waters tumbling down with effortless grace into a crystal-clear pool that shimmered like liquid glass in the sunlight.
Yukina gazed at the waterfall with a serene smile. "This waterfall is absolutely beautiful… and perfect. Thank you so much, little guy," she said to Bright.
Bright puffed out his chest proudly and said, "Of course it's perfect; after all, I'm the one who brought you here, human."
Yukina giggled softly at the words; with a graceful step, she began to walk atop the water, each movement sending tiny shimmering waves outward.
Yukina frowned as she struggled slightly while walking on water, thinking, 'The Wolf King was right; I need to retrain my chakra control to regain my former mastery.'
"One of my former advantages over my peers was my chakra control, and I now need to regain and strengthen it."
"Also, the reason I've been able to complete the Water Change in Chakra Nature exercises so quickly up to now is that my chakra control has always been exceptionally good."
Yukina then closed her eyes and focused on her chakra, feeling it clearly coursing through her.
Her chakra felt like an icy ocean, so cold it could freeze anything in its path—even fire.
Once Yukina had grasped the feeling of her chakra, she began executing her Taijutsu katas, effortlessly balancing on the surface of the water.
Bright watched Yukina execute her Taijutsu katas with keen interest, thinking, 'Her style is quite different from the Dire Wolf Fang style that father taught me.'
Yukina could feel her chakra control gradually returning, and as she began to remaster walking on water, a bright smile spread across her face.
After three hours, Yukina had fully remastered the water-walking exercise and finally paused her Taijutsu katas.
She then looked at the waterfall before her and said, "According to the books on chakra theory I read in Fuguki-sensei's private library, walking on a waterfall is one of the advanced exercises for chakra control."
"To walk on the waterfall, I need to focus my chakra on the soles of my feet and attempt to climb it.
"I think it is time for me to master this exercise."
Having made up her mind, Yukina stripped naked, formed the Ram hand seal, and concentrated her chakra into the soles of her feet.
She then sprinted at full speed toward the waterfall, attempting to climb its cascading surface.
"SPLASH, SPLASH, SPLASH."
No matter how many times Yukina attempted the exercise, the force of the waterfall always pushed her back, and she fell into the lake.
No matter how many times she failed, Yukina refused to be discouraged; she would always rise and attempt the exercise once more.
After repeated tries, Yukina halted, shut her eyes, and realized, "I see… this exercise works on the same concept as water walking exercise."
"The only difference between the two exercises is that I need to release more chakra to endure the waterfall's force as I walk on it."
After grasping the principle behind the waterfall walking exercise, Yukina took a deep breath, cleared her mind, and attempted it once more.
This time, Yukina began to grasp the exercise—she climbed a few steps upward on the waterfall before its powerful current forced her away.
Yukina flipped through the air and landed gracefully on the water, a serene smile gracing her lips as she gazed at the waterfall.
Staring at the waterfall, Yukina murmured, "I'm starting to grasp it. The key is precision in controlling the chakra at my feet—any mistake, and the waterfall will sweep me away or pull me down."
Having fully understood the exercise, Yukina steadied herself and gave it another try.
With every attempt, Yukina improved by leaps and bounds, leaving Bright astonished at how quickly her progress unfolded before his eyes.
By nightfall, Yukina was breathing quickly, yet a broad smile lit her face. "I'm close to mastering the waterfall exercise," she thought. "I'll stop for today and continue tomorrow."
She then turned to Bright and said, "Let's head back to the palace, Bright. I need to rest for today."
Bright smiled, gave a small nod, and said, "Alright, but your clothes are still there—and completely soaked now."
Yukina shrugged. "Wearing clothes is too troublesome. I prefer being naked—especially now that these clothes are wet."
Bright nodded, understanding her choice, and replied, "Suit yourself—let's go."
Then Bright and Yukina left the waterfall and began walking back to the King's Palace.
______
After a week
Yukina stood beside the Dire Wolves' king, the supreme elders, and Bright.
The Dire Wolves' king fixed his gaze on Yukina. "So, girl, have you made up your mind about leaving? You may stay longer if you like."
Yukina smiled at the Dire Wolves king and replied, 'No need. It took me some time to retrain my control over my chakra, but I have succeeded. I even managed to master the final exercise of Water Change in Chakra Nature."
"I think it's time for me to return to my village and train my body so that I will be ready for the Cloud Piercing Mountain trial, which I plan to pass the next time I attempt it."
The Dire Wolves King smiled and nodded in approval. He then turned to Bright and asked, 'Little Bright, where is Yukina's village located?'
Bright smirked when he heard the question and he answered the Dire Wolves king.
"Her village lies very close to our hunting grounds, Your Majesty."
The Dire Wolves king nodded his head after hearing Bright's answer; he then ordered Saigo.
"Saigo, you should go with Bright to Yukina's village. Once you arrive, have Bright reverse-summon her, since he has already marked her."
Saigo bowed respectfully to the Dire Wolves king at his command. Without a moment's hesitation, he seized Bright's paw, and together they vanished in a blur.
After ten minutes, Yukina disappeared in a white puff of smoke.
"PUFF."
