"I'm happy to see that Emily was able to convince you to come back on board." PD Ji-ho smiled as he led Jelissa to the area where the surprise evaluations would be held.
"I certainly didn't come back for you all. I came back for the kids." Jelissa replied bitterly.
Although she was a bit jetlagged and honestly a bit disgusted at the fact that she came back, the silver lining to the situation was that she got to meet the kids that she had mentored for so long.
The bitter taste in her mouth when she was forced to leave now had a bit of sweetness, and now that she was back, she hoped to provide a safe space for these contestants and see things through to the end.
Because the producers certainly weren't going to do so.
All they cared about was pursuing entertainment, viewership ratings, and pushing whatever agenda aligned the most with their morals.
