Jackie could onlybhear the screams of Noah get louder and louder every passing moment, about 30 minutes later that's when Landon came out. "I'll have your money ready within a week." He said coldly looking at Jackie, who was shaking looking at Landon. "Is there a problem?" Asked
Jackie, seeing a small glimpse of what Landon did to Noah in the house quicky answered. "No, there isn't any. Sir."
Landon nodded at that answer. "Good. Now if you excuse me." He said pulling out a lighter and threw it in the cabin.
Noah who was passed out on the sofa with a pair of sleeping pills on the table and a bottle of Jack Daniel's whiskey couldn't do anything but slowly be consumed by the fire that was raising.

"RIP Noah, but let's be real... Midnight Fusion started going downhill the moment they kicked out Landon. He was the heart and soul of the group, and without him, it just wasn't the same. Still, I'll always cherish the music you guys made together" - @MFforever22 (Twitter)
"Speculation alert: Now that Noah's gone, does this mean Landon will rejoin Midnight Fusion? 🤔 We all know and saw the posts Noah was making about Landon while Noah was the only one of the band that Landon wasn'tfollowing anymore." - @MidnightDrama (Twitter)
"Not happening," commented @LandonLove99. "Landon's been killing the game solo for half a year now, and he's bigger than ever. Why would he go back to a band that's clearly not the same without him? He's got his own thing going on now, and it's fire 🔥" #LandonForever
Meanwhile
Landon woke up in his penthouse, stretching his arms as he took in the morning view. Liz was already up, busy making breakfast in the kitchen. He smiled, greeting her with a gentle kiss on the cheek.
"Morning, beautiful," he said teasingly as he takes a seat at the counter.
Liz smiled back, sliding a plate of scrambled eggs and bacon in front of him. "Morning, dweeb. Sleep well?"
Just as Landon was about to take a bite, his phone rang. He glanced at the screen and saw Rayn's name flashing. Rayn was one of his former bandmates from Midnight Fusion.
"Hey, Rayn," Landon answered, his tone neutral.
Liz watched as Landon's expression turned serious, his eyes narrowing slightly as he listened to Rayn's words. After a moment, Landon spoke up.
"What can I do for you, Rayn?" he asked, his voice measured.
Liz couldn't hear the conversation, but she knew it must be about Noah's passing. The news had been all over the music scene in Canada, and she knew Landon must be aware of it.
As Landon listened to Rayn, his expression remained stoic, giving away nothing. Liz wondered what Rayn was saying, and what Landon's response would be.
Their conversation *
"Hey, Rayn," Landon's voice was smooth as he answered the call.
"Hey, Landon," Rayn's voice was somber. "I know you're probably seeing the news about Noah. I'm still trying to process it all."
Landon's expression turned serious as he walked over to the window, gazing out at the cityscape. "Nop i didn't, what did that idiot do now? Stab another person?"
Rayn paused before continuing. "No, the cops found his body all hurt up in a cabin about 40 minutes drive from here. They say he overdosed on sleeping pills."
Landons reaction was cold but calculated. "Ohh?" He said with a hint of emotion just enough to fool Rayn and Liz who he knew was listening. "Thanks for telling me. We didn't get a long now, but there was a time he was like a brother to me." He said before continuing. "Was that all you wanted to tell me?"
There was a pause on the other end of the line before Rayn spoke up again. "You know, with Noah gone... we're talking about what the band's future looks like. And I think it would be really good if you were a part of it."
Landon raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "You think I'd just swoop back in and fill Noah's shoes? After everything that went down?"
Rayn hesitated. "Well, we know we made mistakes, Landon. But we're willing to put the past behind us if it means saving the band. We need you, Landon. You're the heart and soul of Midnight Fusion."
Landon chuckled, a hint of amusement in his voice. "You think a few apologies and a tragedy are enough to erase everything that happened? I'm not sure I'm interested, Rayn."
Liz, who had been quietly observing the conversation, raised an eyebrow as Landon listened to Rayn's proposal. She could see the wheels turning in his head, weighing the pros and cons.
"What do you think?" Landon asked Rayn after a moment of silence. "What exactly are you proposing?"
Rayn launched into a detailed explanation of their plans for the band's future, and Landon listened intently, his expression unreadable. Liz couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking, but she knew better than to try to read his mind. For now, she just poured herself a cup of coffee and waited for Landon to make his decision.
Landon's expression remained calm as he listened to Rayn's proposal. After a moment, he spoke up, his voice firm.
"Rayn, I appreciate the call, but I'm good where I am right now. I've built a life for myself outside of Midnight Fusion, and I'm happy with the direction I'm heading."
Rayn's voice was persuasive, but Landon cut him off before he could continue.
"Listen, Rayn, I wish you all the best. I really do. I hope you guys can move forward and find a way to make it work without Noah. But as for me, I'm okay. I've got my own thing going on, and I'm not interested in revisiting the past."
There was a pause on the other end of the line before Rayn spoke up again. Landon could sense the disappointment in his voice.
"Okay, Landon. I understand. We'll talk to the others and see what they think."
Landon's tone turned slightly cold. "I hope after Noah's funeral, we never have to see each other again. It's time for us all to move on and start new chapters in our lives. I wish you all a wonderful life, Rayn. Take care."
With that, Landon ended the call, his expression unreadable. Liz watched him, sensing a mix of emotions beneath the surface. She knew Landon had a complicated history with Midnight Fusion, and she wondered what the future held for him.
Landon took a deep breath, his eyes gazing out the window as he collected his thoughts. He knew he'd made the right decision, but a part of him wondered what could have been if things had gone differently.
