CHAPTER 4
In the previous chapter, 2 new demons arrived causing chaos throughout the city, the police force had just arrived to take control but and accident amoung them took them all out, Dakota the police force leader manage to recover from the explotion and tried to go back into the fight, the shadow demons surrounded her as she was trying to defended herself, all of the shadow demons were about to finished her up but lily manage to save her just in time, the battle began to save the city as all of the roses including Hiro with the help from crimmson and scarlet manage to bring balance to the fight, but something else was happening with vex and kaori, kaori use her shadow magic to gain more atvantage on their fight not knowing that she was getting herself in danger, asuka saw how kaori's tone change and her eyes were glowing dark yellow as her scythe appared on her hands, her last words to her"i dont want to lose you...not again...".

Kaori and yuki were playing in the garden, yuki and kaori look very similar when both of them were just children, that day both of them heard some strange noises coming from outside the wall, they got curious and ran to see what was going on, they jump to the highest tree and saw the knights of the kindom were bringing a strange person wearing a cloth that cover his whole body also astange weapon that was coverd with a magical robe , yuki was a little scared but kaori was intrigued because she have never seen anything like that before, as she lean a little a tree branch snap making the strage person turn to where they were, he was wearing a mask and only his eyes could be seen, kaori got scared but as he open his eyes he cast a shadow spell on her, she fell from the tree, yuki manage to get her before she could hit the ground and called for alice and her sisters,they brought kaori to her room as grandma rose began to search if she was hurt, alice called for yuki as she told her what exacly happend.
"Yuki how many times have i told you that wondering alone in the garden can be dangerous". Said alice with a worried tone.
Yuki lowered her face feeling guilty and replied to her, "i'm sorry mom we were just playing close to the wall and we heard something that's all".
"That's no excuse yuki you two could have gotten yourself hurt". Alice replied to her arms croosed. Yuki was about to cry when kaori came out of the room and walk to yuki.
"Mom it's not yuki's fault...it's mine". Kaori said to alice while holding yuki's hand," we were just playing tag when i heard a strange noice coming from the other side of the wall so we ran to see, yuki told me that it was not safe but i didn't listen to her so please if you are going to punished someone...let it be me".
Alice didn't say anything and just huged them both, yuki and kaori hug her back, then alice spoke to them,"listen i'm just glad that you're ok, yuki i apologize for blaming you and thank you for looking after you're sister...and you kaori that was very brave for telling me the truth".
"So we are not in troble?", kaori said that with a big smile while wagging her tail.
Alice gave a warm smile and replied to her,"i'll let this one pass but next time please be more careful where you two go, ok" both of them replied "YES MOM WE PROMISED". Alice then walk outside. Yuki aproched kaori,"thank you for the help sis", kaori replied to her,"it's nothing really and besides i couldn't let mom ground you when it was my fault", yuki gave her a big hug and said back,"i'll always be there for you sis i promise nothing bad will happend to you as long as i'm here", kaori closed her eyes and whispered to her," i know sis and i will always be there for you two". Niko open the door and saw them and yelled,"are you two done come on lets go outside and play we are waithing for you". Both yuki and kaori ran outside.
Later that night in the girls room, a window slowly open as a whipering sound echoed the room,"kaori...wake up...." the voice whisper, kaori mumbled in her sleep while turning around,"wake up kaori it's time", the voice said once more, she slowly stud up as her eyes opened, with out making any noise kaori walk out of the room but left the door almost opened, yuki heard footsteps and saw that kaori wasn't in her bed, the same voice echoed throughout the hallways guiding kaori outside of the house,"come kaori follow the shadows"...., said the voice as she obey, yuki follow back hiding on the trees and notice that kaori was murmuring something so she jumped down and landed infront of her.
"Kaori...where are you going, it's way pass our bed time"
Kaori had her eyes opened but she wasn't listening.
"Kaori it's me yuki you're sister whats wrong with you why are you ignoring me".
Ignoring yuki's voice kaori kept walking further and talking to her self.yuki had no option than to grab her by her shoulders and shake her. "Kaori stop please look at me!". Yuki said to her almost crying."....i must follow the shadows"....., kaori kept whispering to herself.
"Kaori what do you mean follow the shadows... please wake up".
Kaori kept walking still saying the same words over and over again, both of them ended up in a tower that holds the weponds that the knights recover after the fight, the door was protected by a magucal forcefield that only the mages could take out.
"Kaori we are not supost to be here it's forbiden...if we get caught we could get in big trobble...come one lets go home before they notice we are gone".
Kaori tried to open the door but the magic barrier push her away.
"Kaori stop it's imposible to enter, the door's seal we can't go inside so lets go home please".
Yuki tried to talk to her but kaori was under a spell and couldn't listen to her.
"Kaori...open the door.....i'll lend you my powers so that you can enter...just put your hands on the door and it will open". Said the voice to her as she put her hands on the door. Kaori felt a strange power that surge from inside her that help her on braking the seal.Yuki gasp as she took a step back, the crystal felt the seal brake and woke alice up, alice felt the crystal's call and jump out of bed feeling something was wrong, she ran to check if the girls were asleep but when she got to the door she noticed that the door was open, alice enter the room and saw that kaori and yuki waren't in their beds. Alice ran to asuka and woke her up.
"Asuka..asuka wake up i need to talk to you".
Asuka slowly open her eyes and yawn.
"Oh..hey mom it's morining already?".
"No sweety, i'm just worried".
Asuka shake her sleep away and ask alice why she was worried,alice told her that she felt the crystal's call and felt that something was wrong so she went and check on all of them but yuki and kaori were missing. Asuka got out of bed and saw that alice was telling the truth.
"Asuka could you help me find them please i'm afaird that they might be in danger".
"Sure mom i'll help", asuka began to sniff the air and felt yuki and kaori's sent outside the house."this way mom they went outside". Both asuka and alice ran outside. Once they got outside asuka began to sniff the air, asuka pointed in the direction they went so alice and asuka ran to where they were.
As the seal broke the door slowly opened, kaori took a step forward but yuki grab her arms pulling her back, she tried to talk to her but kaori wasn't listening, she kept walking deep into the room where the weapons were.
While running to where yuki and kaori were alice felt the dark magic coming from the tower."asuka let's hurry up before it's to late". Asuka pick up the pace.
Kaori kept following the voice as it took her to a room that was lock in chains,"brake the chains kaori and enter....", before she grab the chains yuki got infront of her eyes lock and said,"i don't know what's wrong with you kaori but this isin't you...you have to snap out of it please listen to me...you're my sister and no power on earth can change that".
"Yu...ki..." kaori struggle to regain her conscious back.
"Yes kaori fight it you can do it your strong...don't let it take control of you!".
Yuki yeld at her trying to help her.
Kaori took a step back pulling her hair as she tried to fight it. Yuki ran to her and kept talking to her trying to help recover her sister from what ever was controling her.
Asuka felt that kaori was in danger and told alice so both of them kept running towrads the tower.
Kaori began to scream as a dark aura covered her body, yuki hold kaori's hands as the shadows began to rise."i'm not gonna let go kaori, i made you a promise to you and i'm going to keep it".
The screams stop, yuki looked around as if everything was over, only silence could be heard throughout the room but the sensation of a evil presence could be felt there. Kaori just stud in the same place not saying a word.
"Is it...over?" Yuki said while looking at kaori, a manaical laugh echoed the room, "not quite yet little one...". Said the voice that was controling kaori.
Yuki got up and look for the voice but there was no one around just the two of them,"who's there....show yourself now!".
"Well aren't we a little brave rose hehehe".
Yuki began to growl as the shadow began to take form. Yuki watched carefully as it took the form of a sorcerer wearing a dark red cape,"hello there...yuki..."
Yuki gasp"who are you and how do you know my name!".
"Oh i am one of the 7 sorceres of the shadow kingdom and i am here to take control of this place in the name of Deimos or king".
"Well you are not gonna do anything in here because we have the power of the crystal on ourside, and my sisters and i will grow and become the strongest warriors this kingdom will have and we will stop you!". Yuki shouted at the sorcerer not showing any sing of fear.
He laugh and replied to her, "you a warrior HAHAHA please by the time you and your sister's grow up this place will be control by our empire...and besides..." he walk next to kaori, "how can you save your kingdom when you can't even save your sister from my spell".
"I...uh...no that's not true..." she took a step back.
"Whats the matter warrior...i thought you said that were gonna prevent me from taking over this place and yet all i see is a little girl who can't even protect herself and her sisters".
Yuki feel on her kness and began to cry,"i'm....sorry...kaori...i fail....i'm nothing, i don't deserve to be called a warrior".
"That's right...now watch as your sister takes my scythe and opens a portal leading the shadow army back here....kaori grab it and open the portal".
"Yes master as you wish" kaori walk to the wall and grab the sorcere's scythe and got in front of him.
"Good now open the portal with my dark magic".
"I will open..."
Yuki just kept on the floor looking as her sister is being control by him and feeling guilty because she couldn't do anything to help her.
"Now open the portal" yeld the sorcerer.
"I will open".
Both of them waited for kaori to open the portal, kaori swing the scythe in midway and stoped, the sorcerer was a little confused and yeld again to her.
"Why did you stop, i gave you an order now open the damn portal or i'll kill you're sister!!!".
"As you wish.... she grab the scythe and smirked, "i will open....but its YOUR FACE!!!!", kaori turned around and swing the scythe to the sorcerer face, he jump back just in time before she could slice him, he then said to her, "what are you doing!!?".
Kaori put the scythe on her shoulder and gave him a playfull grin.
"What's wrong you look a little disapointed hehehe".
Yuki got up and clean her tears away as the sorcerer was confused.
"What is the meaning of this, you we're supost to obey me you little brat!".
Kaori to a spet forward and face the sorcerer,"well lets just say i'm a little stubern and i don't take orders from anyone".
"But i saw you...and you were...and he was...". Yuki tried to understand what was going on.
"At first i didn't know what was happening to me, i felt this strange power controling me and i tried to fight it but it was to strong...but then....i heard your voice and how much yoy cared for me and that gave me streangth to fight it, i also knew that i had to trick him and make him belive that i was onder his spell, that way i could take advanatge of him".
The sorcerer was completly outrage of kaori's ability to brake hia spell" you....you think this is a game!!!!....that you can just trick me and get away with it, i will make you pay for making a mockery out of me!".
He launched himself to them eyes glowing red and dark magic covering his bodie, kaori saw his move and leap forward still holding the scythe, he tries to grab her but kaori was to fast for him, she quickly appared on his back and with full force she spin kick him on his back making him hit the floor.
"Come on yuki lets take care him like we practice".
Yuki got up and nooded,"right lets do this".
Both of them began to move aide to side creating an illusion that made it dificult to the sorcerer to keep up. He stop in midway confused trying to find away to strike but due to the speed and movement everytime he would strike he misses. One strike to his side then another to his chest follow by multiple kicks and punches that hit everytime they move.
"Let's end this sis" kaori said with determent eyes, yuki rush and strike him with a fury of scratches on his face, kaori saw the opening and ran moving the scythe forward to finish him off, as she got close he tried to dodge but kaori manage to slice his chest also sending him backwards braking the door and landing outside on the grass, asuka and Alice have just arrive and saw that the sorcerer was laging on the grass all beating down. Yuki and kaori just came out of the tower and saw asuka and alice outside.
Alice ran to them and said," kaori , yuki are you two ok!?".
"Yes mom we are fine". Said yuki.
"What happend here? Asuka ask confused.
Yuki took a step forward and told alice and asuka what happend.
"yuki you save you not only saves your sister but you also saved this place as well". Alice replied to her, fealing proud, "and you kaori" she walkto her and place her hand on her shoulders.
Let me guess...your gonna tell me ita my fault and i'm grounded and...".
Alice hug her and said"i'm so happy that you protected your sister..i never would have imagine how strong and brave you were until now..." a tear stram out of kaori's eyes as alice whisper those words.
"So..you're not mad at us mom and we are not in trouble?". Kaori said with a big smile.
Asuka sigh and said,"i gues somethings will never change". All of then started to laugh...
"Come in lets go back to the house its getting cold and i dont want you to...".
As alice was talking she got interrupted by the sorcerer laugh as he leap forward from the ground all beat and a deep cut on his chest." And where are do you think youre going....i'm not done here..
Alice got in front of the girls"get behind me girls i'll take it from here...".
"Hehehe you wont be able to protect them forever mage...the shadows will consume them eventually".
"You already lost this fight sorcerer...you don't have the power or the streaght to beat us, my dauthers prove that the shadow kingdom will never prevail!". Alice said with autority.
"My time in this world may be over....but my work will continue".
Alice was confused but didn't show it to him" youre time and work ends now!".
No mage.....this is only the begining....HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Alice use her magic and cast a fire spell that burned the sorcerer.
"Thank god its finally over" asuka sigh.
All of a sudden kaori began to scream in pain, alice yuki and asuka walk to kaori who was on the ground wirh both hands on her head."AHHHHHH MOM HELP!!!!".
Alice kneel down and tried to help but a dark aura began to cover her body, alice jump back as she didn't knew what was happening, yuki rush to help but as she got close the dark energy puah her away landing on the grass unconscious, asuka went and help yuki as kaori's scream got louder. Alice tried to use her magic to repel the dark magic but it was to late. Kaori's hair got shorter, her eyes turned dark yellow and a curse mark on her arm...a shadow shape like a rose. The scythe appared on her arm and it also change to match her aparence. Alice began to cry and grab kaori on her arms."please kaori wake up its me mom please". Kaori wasn't responding.grandma rose also heard what was going on but due to her age she didnt make it on time, as she saw the shadow rose on her arm she knew what was going on and immedietly
Use her power to seal the shadow magic on her arm, kaori then began to breathe.
"Come alice we need to take her to the shrine now before its to late".
Present day
"That day i thought that the shadow magic had killed you amd if it wasn't for mom and grandma i would had lost you for good". Asuka grip her sword,"i wont let that hapoend again....i made a promise to mom and i'm goimg to keep it....." kaori was fighting vex using her shadow magic,"i won't let the shadow's take control over you again!!!!".
With one leap she went to help kaori figth vex.
