Ericka stepped out of the tent earlier; she didn't expect to be in the same group as Thalia. She knows her schoolmates.
She knows that Thalia is hiding something, but she's not sure yet. She was surprised by the conversation earlier because of what was revealed about her colleague Ruth.
Ericka could only shake her head.
She admits to herself that she sees things that normal people do not see, and it's difficult to believe. However, she would rather not turn a blind eye now; the presence of someone following Thalia and especially Ruth is strong.
Is this episode connected to what happened before? She questioned her mind, seemingly hesitant about where she would stand. She sat down and pondered, scanning her surroundings, until she noticed eyes watching her.
So she turned to where the sharp eyes watching them were coming from.
Her ability to see how things were developing suddenly struck her.
There are women walking in the forest, deep at night, seemingly lost in the woods, possibly fleeing from something. She wanted to see which women were walking in the dense forest. Ericka was shocked to find herself among the women walking, and it seemed they were looking for something.
She abruptly returned to the present.
Why am I getting involved? She found herself questioning her decision.
She hates that she can't stop her ability or control the future.
Erica's hair stood on end; she saw a bonfire. What will happen to them now?
This sensation is the effect of her ability; she is drenched in sweat, her body writhing in pain.
She entered the tent to rest. The sun is also setting, and they need to start preparing. When night falls, the bonfire will begin.
"What happened to you?" Her companion suddenly asked.
She just shook her head. The other colleagues were also surprised. Ericka sat on a monobloc chair, massaging her aching head due to the after-effect of her recent revelry.
Who among them will walk with me later? She looked at each of her companions one by one.
When she looked at Ruth, she felt a chill for no reason, as if there was someone beside her who shouldn't be among them. She kept shifting her gaze between Thalia and Ruth.
Jasmin brought her water.
"Thank you." She immediately drank the water that Jasmin gave her.
Who will be with me?
Abruptly, a photo appeared. There were pictures of missing women; when she saw the name, she gasped and turned to look at Jasmin. She also saw corpses—the bodies of women.
Ericka wanted to scream at what she saw; it was as if she wanted to lose consciousness. She suddenly lost her balance.
"Call the teacher. Hey, Ericka, are you okay?" Said her companion.
She saw that Thalia was the one who called the teacher, who was also watching over them.
Jasmin helped her move to her bed.
"Did you have breakfast earlier? Why are you so pale?" That was the worried question Kim asked, which she heard.
She didn't answer back then. She became aware of the commotion around her due to her presence. Ericka heard the voices of the teachers who became alert to the events.
She suddenly went numb; her ability struck again. She sees a man, as if he is digging; she can't make out his appearance. The place seems familiar to her; she just can't remember where it is. His hands are bloody while he is digging in the ground.
"Ah!" Ericka just shouted because of the pain in her side; she saw Ruth, but she had someone with her watching her. She smiled at her as if signaling her to be quiet.
She lost consciousness, and suddenly the surroundings became quiet.
She suddenly woke up, but she wasn't in the tent. Ericka is about to travel again. She doesn't like it when her spirit travels. She absolutely hates seeing anything.
Her ordinary life began to change when she accidentally saw the bodies of two siblings. She didn't expect that the chosen funeral home would be there. She blames herself for suddenly being struck by curiosity back then.
Stop it already! What do you need from me?! She asked angrily, her voice echoing.
Suddenly, the woman appeared to her, the older sister who had died. She looked her in the eyes, not saying a word.
We were not silent. We cannot see the light.
Why don't you let go of your anger? Could you consider letting go of your anger?
! If you were in my situation, would you be happy? She asked Ericka bluntly.
Ericka suddenly fell silent at the question from the woman in front of her. Aside from her ability to travel, she can also talk to it.
Are you the one giving me what I see now? Ericka questions the woman in front of her.
It smiled meaningfully, and then it suddenly disappeared from her sight. She heard a noise around her. So, she suddenly sat up, gasping for breath. She held onto her seat.
Ericka just clenched his fists.
They won't stop bothering me if I struggle even more against them. She looked at Ruth's behavior and saw the woman from her dreams, and then she suddenly disappeared.
Whatever you are planning and what I see, I will use it for your peace!
Ericka just clenched his fist.
"Are you okay now?" The teacher who was supervising her asked.
She only nodded, "Thank you very much, Ma'am." Ericka could only say,.
"Dinner is about to be served; take a short break first." The teacher tapped her shoulder.
Her companions suddenly disappeared as well. "What, did I do something wrong to you?" Ruth then asked her.
She just shook her head; she didn't look at Ruth then, lest she see something unusual about her.
Ruth just nodded. "Your stares at me are so piercing." She ended up saying it to her.
Ericka just sighed, wondering why she couldn't stop herself from looking at Ruth that way.
I'm not angry; I'm just annoyed with the person you're with, Ruth. That's all she could tell herself back then.
"Just rest for now; the bonfire has started. Come out only when you feel better." Ruth said to her kindly.
"Thank you."
It simply nodded at her.
She completely left the tent, hearing the happy conversations from before. She rubbed the back of her neck at what was happening to her now.
