Who was this guy?
Jane felt an ominous premonition and decided to stay away from the so called Miles.The next two days however was marked with Miles following Jane everywhere!
Didn't he have class?And his presence made everyone look at her weirdly trying to decipher her and that was slowly annoying her. She tried to recall whether she knew the guy from before but nothing rung a bell. She had to put an end to this somehow.
For the first time in two days she spoke to him.
Miles felt so happy he almost jumped around.'Had she decided to make him her friend?'
Talk about delusion,he has already planned all the dates he was going to take her the next few weeks.
"Let's go somewhere quiet,I need to have a word with you." Jane said to Miles who looked like he was daydreaming?Who was this nut job?Jane was getting increasingly annoyed by him.
Still in a daze Miles followed Jane .They found an empty classroom and Jane looked the door.Everyone outside who wanted to see the show was disappointed.Natasha however was worried for Jane.Jane had a really bad temper.'What if she beats up Miles?She really can't do that!'She started to panic.She ran towards the utility office to get the keys.
Miles 'friends were around.The former had not been spending time with them lately therefore they were looking for him to hang out.Tracy was more stressed than anyone. The rest just wanted to be filled in on the gossip.They received news of the meeting between their friend and the girl Jane so they went to find out what was actually happening.
In the classroom...
Miles was still dazed when he felt the murderous rage! Before he could react slender hands tightened around his neck.He was slowly losing his consciousness.He tapped out.Seeing that,Jane let go.
"Now that I have proven I can kill you with a snap,tell me .....what do you want from me?Who are you and why do you keep following me around being a nuisance?" Jane said in a very cold voice.
Miles was still regaining his balance and breath,he said "I really don't want to harm you.Ok?I admit,I wanted to be more than your friend at first but then I thought I'll scare you away if I ask you outright to be my girlfriend.I just wanted to take it slow."He tried to explain in the simplest way possible so that the young lady doesn't go on another rampage and end up killing him.
Jane tried to digest what the person in front of him was saying
" Let me get this straight!You like me?"She asked.
" Yes!"
" Why?"
" What do you mean why?I just like you "
" And you started liking me since when?"
" Since the first day I met you!"
Jane felt like laughing.She had never once seen the person in front of her before. She first saw him for the first time two days ago.She tried to scan her memory.Nothing.
" Ok....since I was to do this anyway, here's how everything is going to go....I don't like you and I would appreciate it very much if you'd stay away from me or else....."She said with a very creepy smile on her face.
" If you accept me to be your friend,I'll stop asking you to be my girlfriend...."at least not right now.Miles left the last part of this sentence out .
By this time ,Natasha had ran back and was struggling to open the door....
" I really don't know what makes you think I want to be friends with the likes of you but please keep me out of your shenanigans."Jane was saying when the door opened.
Natasha breathed a huge sigh of relief.'No one was hurt '
However the atmosphere in the empty room was so tense no one tried to go in.
" What do I have to do to hang around you?"Miles said shocking everyone.He was really begging to be her friend.Tracy thought it was a joke.
Jane looked at him ,he looked the type that wouldn't leave her unless he got what he wanted....so she said sneakily.
"The day you beat me in a one on one ,I'll be your friend... deal?"
Miles was actually surprised she said that. He thought she would snub him again.This was progress.
"Deal" he said happily.
But now what?
