In an unknown space, a group of beings gathered around to watch Asher's experiences.
It seems they had troubles with viewing what happened the night his house was attacked.
A soft voice spoke out, filling the room with a rush of calming power. It didn't make sense, but it did.
"Raphael, do we know why we suddenly got cut off? The subjects involved in that attack are not right. Something's wrong."
"I haven't been able to locate the source of this breach yet. However, I think they are involved," Raphael replied in a grave voice.
The atmosphere in the room changed immediately. Whenever they are brought up, or involved in a situation, nothing is ever as it seems.

They could kill the dog of a young scion, using a mere farm boy, which would bring a out the wrath of the scion upon the farm boy and his family and even his home town or village. That could lead to a chain of attacks that push certain criminal organizations to fast track their own attacks, and before you know it, the kingdom is involved in a civil war.
It seems like a straight forward situation when explained that way.
However, they can, and will use that dog's death as a catalyst for something else. Maybe a dark practitioner was nearby, and the dog's death added an unexpected variable of death energy, which foiled the practitioner's plans and requires the practitioner to start over. Naturally, this practitioner will need new materials, and this could lead to a chain of purchases or favours that leaves the practitioner in debt to them and their price is a certain gem stone the practitioner has been keeping for sentimental value. The practitioner agrees to part with the gem, not knowing that it was actually a very powerful relic, which will then be properly activated and used to wipe out two worlds from existence.
That example was used because, it actually happened.
The Great Powers in the universe were oblivious to what was happening. They only found out after capturing - with great pain and loss - one of them.
After intense interrogation and torture, the only information the Great Powers received, was about that incident.
Somehow, the information was leaked, and most major powers in the multiverse learnt about this incident. Eventually, even the common people learnt about it.
A lot of people speculate that the only reason they gave out that information was because nothing can be done again. The worlds are already erased from existence, and there's no way to trace the involved parties.
One of the worlds erased due to that incident is the world where the dog died. They didn't want to take any chances, so they thoroughly wiped their tracks. The second world destroyed, was their actual target.
Since then, it became a rule to always expect the unexpected from them, and to learn that nothing is ever as it seems.

"Raphael, are you sure?"
The one soothing and calm voice turned chilly immediately they were brought up. This is a serious matter, especially regarding who seems to be involved.
"I'm not completely sure, but it checks a couple of their boxes. If it's really them, then we need to pull your family out."
"We haven't even accomplished what that works was created for. Let's see what happens once we can resume viewing, and from there -"
He was cut off as a gasp rang out in the room. It came from the man's wife, who shouldn't have been there yet. His eyes widened in panic as he sought to find out what happened.
"What happened!? Are you okay? Why are you here now? What happened to him?"
His wife was finally able to regain her composure as she responded to him.
"I'm fine. But my avatar... It's dead. The house got broken into, and -"
She started sobbing, choking off her words. Everyone in the room was greatly surprised, because they knew exactly who this woman is, and seeing her cry in front of them right now is something they never expected.
Her husband got furious, worried, confused, and curious about what could've possibly happened, which made his way this way.
Eventually, he calmed her down and she was able to explain what happened in the house. What those people did to her, while Asher watched them - unable to do anything. Up until her avatar was killed.
She was able to disassociate from the avatar when those deeds were happening, so she normally wouldn't feel like it happened to her. However, Asher saw them do it. That's what broke her heart.
She also doesn't know what happened after she was killed, which is why the scene that displays next, greatly shocks everyone in the room.
While everyone is furious at what those nobodies made Asher experience, they suddenly realized that they could continue viewing what was happening. Well, too bad they missed the show.
When the view came back, all they saw was the end of Asher's massacre. Except for Asher, no other body could be found. The whole room was dyed red with blood.
"Just...what happened?"
The whole room was dumbfounded. Then Asher's father spoke.
"Azek, go make sure he gets treated, and all suspicion on him is negated. He has suffered enough from this. While you're there, find out what that group was doing there, and who hired them."
"I'll get right on it," Azek replied.
Even after Azek left, Asher's mother still looked concerned, and she voiced her concerns.
"Are we still going to carry on with the original plan? The Reset?"
"Yes, my love. We have to. We created that world so he can have a normal childhood, full of love and happiness. Sadly, I had to leave so soon to settle matters here. That was when things started to go wrong. He still received your love, but it wasn't enough for him."
They both looked sad at that. It hurt them to see Asher's pain each day. He continued,
"But now that we suspect they might have found that world, we must start the Reset, regardless of if we're right or not. His Universal Birthright will help him. We don't know how, but we know it will. Azek gave him the prism. Maybe that's what caused the massacre..."
"We need to ensure no one knows what the prism can do. Not even us. If Asher wishes to tell us in future, he can, but no one must know about it before then."
"Agreed"

All the beings in the room agreed with that statement.
At this point, Asher is in Sunshine Valley, and is already training.
"Let's begin the Reset. I will petition the Universe's Will to let us still be his parents during the Reset, and let him know," Asher's father spoke
"If the Will accepts, that will be wonderful!"
Asher's mother was ecstatic.
"However, we might have to give up something for that privilege, since this isn't supposed to happen during the Reset. I'm ready to make that sacrifice."
"Everyone, prepare for the Reset. It's time I meet my son again."
Everyone started moving immediately. He has spoken, and they will obey.

Asher had just finished his training, and he was on his way to get some food, unaware of the stir he caused in the city.
Once he got to the bar and was about to place an order, he felt countless eyes staring at him. Hungry eyes. He gave a questioning look to the bar keeper, who looked amused.
"Esteemed sir, it appears you caught the attention of all the top groups in the city, and they wish to see what's so special about you. You'll have to survive this."

Suddenly everything slowed down, and Asher saw two figures walk towards him. They looked familiar to him, but it seemed impossible.
"Mom ...? Dad ...?"
"Hello my boy," his mother answered first, while his dad smiled warmly at him.
"H-How? How are you both here? What's going on?"
"Asher..." His dad spoke
"I've missed you, so, so much. I'm glad I can finally meet you again so soon. I know it's confusing, but we'll explain what we can. Not now though. Now, you need to experience the Reset. It will take you back in time to when you're a baby, and we will be with you. This time, you will be brought up in the way of the multiverse. You will be taught history, combat, and every other skill you need to know to survive out there. Sadly, we can't bring you to our home world yet. It's not yet safe for you, and it's not beneficial for you either."
Asher's father explained more about what was going on, and why he wasn't able to live with them just yet. They also explain how Earth was a world created by them, for him, until after the reset when it will be destroyed since it has served its purpose.
They apologized for everything that happened to him, and promised to do right by him in the Reset.
Sadly, he won't remember any of this during the Reset, but once he's out of it, he will remember it all. All the benefits from the Reset will manifest in reality once he's done. The Reset will be over once Asher reaches Tier 1. The sooner, the better.
"So Asher, are you ready?" His mother asked him
This was a lot of information to process for Asher, and he was confused.

With Vader's little push, Asher agreed.
"Okay mom, dad, let's do this Reset. Also, why does it sound weird when I say Reset?
His parents laughed at that.
"You're too young and weak to know why. Grow stronger, and you will naturally learn it. Let us begin."
And this, Asher began his Reset.
