Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 — The Second Login

After receiving the Spiritual Clone ability, Kaito felt satisfied and excited.

That skill alone was a massive leap forward in his training and strategy.

But before he could dive deeper into planning, a new notification appeared before his eyes:

> [Second Character Login: Sōya Azashiro]

Condition: Fulfill the Ideal World

Reward: Ability: Where to Think

Kaito blinked, surprised.

— "Second login...? What does that mean?"

Up until now, he believed that each character only had one possible login.

He'd always thought the system was straightforward — almost too simple — and had never bothered to investigate it more deeply.

"Maybe those initial instructions weren't so complete after all..."

But that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. On the contrary.

More logins meant more rewards.

Curious, he opened the mission description.

> Fulfill the Ideal World

Kaito furrowed his brows.

"That's extremely vague."

But he quickly reasoned:

"It must be based on Azashiro's own vision of an ideal world..."

"If I'm right... then it's a world without Hollows."

That made sense.

Sōya Azashiro, in various versions of his story and even hinted at in canon, seemed to desire a world where Hollows didn't exist.

"It fits that his 'ideal world' would be one in which Hollows were simply gone..."

But that made the mission nearly impossible.

> Exterminate all Hollows?

A goal even the Soul Society dares not pursue.

Kaito pondered:

"Killing too many Hollows breaks the balance between the three worlds.

Not to mention that new Hollows form constantly — every second — from deaths in the Human World..."

"No... this condition is beyond my reach."

Even so, his eyes returned to the reward:

> Ability: Where to Think

— "...What kind of name is that?"

The ability sounded... abstract.

But Kaito wasn't naive.

"If it appeared in a second login for someone like Azashiro..."

"Then it's stronger than Spiritual Clone. No doubt."

He could only speculate:

"Maybe it involves mental manipulation, mindscapes, realistic illusions... or even parallel existence."

The cryptic name didn't reveal much.

But its position within the system said everything.

---

Even so, Kaito set the idea aside.

This reward was unfeasible — at least for now.

"It's impossible to fulfill this mission in the current state of the three worlds.

Even the Shinigami themselves maintain a balance by regulating the number of Hollows for the cycle of reincarnation to work."

At last, he sighed.

He wasn't frustrated.

He had just received an incredibly useful ability for free.

And now, he had discovered a new aspect of the system:

> Characters can have multiple logins.

But something still bothered him...

"Too bad location logins don't have second levels like character ones..."

Even though he was grateful, he couldn't help but feel the slight itch of a veteran gamer:

> "If characters can have more than one login...

Then why not places too?"

Kaito sighed again.
