A massive roundtable. Seats reserved for all of Korea's S-Rank Hunters.
At the head: Chairman Go Gunhee.To his left: Sung Jinwoo.To his right: an empty seat labeled: Wade Wilson (?)
Deadpool walks in, spinning a kunai.
"Did someone say 'top secret international emergency'? Because I brought muffins."
The room is tense.
Deadpool slides into his chair with a dramatic sigh.
Next to him: Chae-In — silent, elegant, composed.
Deadpool leans over and stage-whispers:
"Hey, uh, you're Chae-In, right?You look way less terrifying than the fan edits."
Chae-In gives a tight nod. Doesn't respond.
Deadpool turns to the fourth wall:
"She wants to punch me. I can feel it."
Chairman Go Gunhee stands, voice heavy.
"Thank you all for coming on such short notice.As you know… yesterday, this building was attacked by a being far beyond anything we've recorded."
A pause.
"A Monarch."
Gasps ripple lightly around the room.Even the most hardened S-Ranks look visibly unsettled.
Jinwoo rises slowly, his voice calm.
"They're not monsters.They're not from dungeons.They're not even from this world."
A brief silence. Then:
"There are beings who call themselves Monarchs.Rulers of destruction, chaos, and death.They don't invade through Gates —They are the reason Gates exist."
Eyes widen. Whispers start.
Deadpool raises a finger:
"Quick question.Are they unionized?"
No one laughs.
Deadpool sighs.
"Tough crowd."
Jinwoo continues.
"The one that attacked was the Frost Monarch.But there are others.All of them are preparing to descend."
He names them.
Frost Monarch – King of Snow Folk
Beast Monarch – King of Beasts
Plague Monarch – Monarch of Disease
Iron Body Monarch – King of Destruction
(He says it carefully, without elaborating.)
"Destruction Monarch – Antares… the true king of Dragons."
Everyone in the room is stunned.
Let's cut to dialogues from the key S-Rankers:
Choi Jong-In (Hunters Guild):
"You're saying the Gates… the monsters… everything we've fought for years… was just buildup to this?"
Baek Yoon-Ho (White Tiger Guild):
"So they're not just dungeon bosses. They're invaders from another realm."
Lim Tae-Gyu (Sniper Hunter):
"If that Frost bastard wasn't even their strongest… then what the hell are we up against?"
Go Gunhee:
(quiet, but firm — hiding his true identity as a Fragment of Light)
"We're facing extinction.But we're not unarmed."
He glances at Jinwoo… and then, reluctantly, at Deadpool.
Deadpool, feet on the table, spins a kunai in one hand:
"Extinction, Monarchs, interdimensional wars, oh my!Sounds like a job for the Avengers."
Everyone stares.
Deadpool shrugs.
"Oh wait — they didn't call me for the Doomsday movie, so now I'm stuck with you guys."
Baek Yoon-Ho (low voice):
"...Is he serious?"
Choi Jong-In:
"No. But also yes. I think that's the problem."
Deadpool leans toward Jinwoo and stage-whispers:
"Also — if someone asks, I called dibs on Beast Monarch's horns. I want a trophy wall."
Jinwoo doesn't reply.
But his mind races.
(thoughts)"Another System user.Not created by the Architect.Not from our world.Yet… he cut a Monarch."
Gunhee speaks again, ending the briefing:
"We don't fully understand what Deadpool is.But he's proven he can fight a Monarch… and survive."
"So unless one of you has a better idea…He stays."
Deadpool grins wide.
"Guess I'm officially part of your anime now.Hope there's a beach episode."
