Four Athena's Sighs—the power was unimaginable.
Under Aisha's command, twelve Saints who had awakened the Eighth Sense launched a fierce assault, overwhelming even Taowu's Ten Thousand Immortals Annihilate the Sect.
"That Taowu… isn't it one of the Four Great Fiends from Chinese legend?" A'dou asked his future self.
"That's right. It's a terrifying beast from the prehistoric age. And even now, it seems not even all the Gold Saints combined can finish it off. Looks like I'll have to step in myself."
"Don't blow my cover," A'dou reminded him.
"Relax, I know." Future A'dou vanished, reappearing high in the sky—over 10,000 meters up. No one could see him from the ground. "At a time like this… guess I'll use that move."
He gave a faint smile, took a deep breath of the cold air above the clouds, then spoke: "People of Earth, raise your hands and lend me your power."
Liu A'dou's voice echoed across every corner of the planet. Everyone—good or bad—heard it. No one could escape it.
"Seriously?" Liu A'dou muttered. He knew this move. Wasn't this the Spirit Bomb from Dragon Ball? Damn… how much stuff had his future self learned?
People all over heard it, but whether to raise their hands—they weren't so sure.
"Just raise them!" A'dou and the two by his side were the first to lift their hands.
The moment Future A'dou raised both arms, a glowing energy orb the size of a hot-air balloon formed. He smiled slightly. He knew that must've come from his loved ones.
Still not enough. Liu A'dou quickly thought of an idea—he contacted Batman. "Batman, have Bunny launch a global broadcast. Use the Justice League's name to call everyone to raise their hands."
"What's going on?"
"Someone's trying to take down the monster in Tokyo. We need to gather everyone's strength."
Batman paused for a second. Then said, "Understood."
He released the message under the Justice League's name. Bunny's system came with a built-in translator.
Through Lois Lane's coverage, people were already familiar with what the Justice League had done during the Kryptonian refugee invasion. With more details coming out, the world now knew how Batman, Flash, and Wonder Woman had infiltrated the alien ship and destroyed the gravity device at the critical moment, stopping wider destruction.
So when the Justice League spoke, people still chose to believe.
They raised their hands—though they didn't feel anything.
More and more people raised their hands. The Spirit Bomb kept growing. Future A'dou grinned. "More… I need more energy."
Even though Tokyo's citizens couldn't watch TV, they saw the growing ball of light from around the world. They understood this light only came from raising their hands—so they did too.
Whoosh. Whoosh. Whoosh.
The giant Spirit Bomb was ready. Future A'dou laughed. "Get ready to receive my gift."
Spirit Bomb—go!
"Look up!"
Was it the sun falling? Or a star? The massive glowing orb blanketed the whole city, descending like a crushing tide.
What was that?
Something totally beyond understanding. Just what was happening to this world?
Taowu sensed the overwhelming power of the Spirit Bomb. It was on par with a Saint's divine strike—even Taowu couldn't endure it.
"Roar—!" it howled to the sky, then launched another Zhutian Sword at the Spirit Bomb.
Sure enough, when energy levels go high enough, it always comes down to a beam clash. At that point, techniques don't matter.
Spirit Bomb versus Zhutian Sword.
A wound split open the sky. The atmosphere had been scorched away. It was clear now—Japan had no choice but to relocate its capital. There was no other option. The explosion had torn open an ozone hole, letting ultraviolet rays blast directly onto the ground. This place was no longer livable.
Even the word "tragic" couldn't express what Tokyo's citizens were feeling. Zhao Gao, though he failed to wipe out Xu Fu's descendants, still caused enough destruction. Taowu hadn't exactly obeyed his orders—it had suppressed Zhao Gao's mark the moment it appeared and just acted according to its nature. Still, the result was the same. Zhao Gao's "control" didn't matter.
"Ahhh!" Future A'dou muttered to himself. 'Taowu really lives up to its reputation. That infamous name isn't just talk.'
The Spirit Bomb compressed the air as it descended. Anything still intact was now being crushed.
Fighter jets circled from afar, their pilots staring blankly at a scene straight out of the apocalypse, hearts nearly frozen in their chests.
"Taowu, you're definitely impressive. But this is no longer your era. Rest in peace." Future A'dou poured more power in. The Spirit Bomb dropped even lower, finally slamming onto the top of Taowu's head.
The Zhutian Sword couldn't stop it. It didn't work.
"ROAR!" Taowu let out a pained cry, its tail flailing wildly. The massive storm it stirred up kicked off a sandstorm so huge it reached even the refugee zones.
Inside the gale, Liu A'dou and the other two stood motionless, watching the battlefield.
The Gold Saints unleashed all their power too. Athena's Sigh pierced through Ten Thousand Immortals Annihilate the Sect and struck Taowu directly.
Cracks started appearing across the crystals on Taowu's body. They spread wider and wider until finally—shatter. Its body couldn't take this much damage anymore.
With 90% of the world's human energy gathered together, even Taowu couldn't endure it. The crystals crumbled into powder.
The massive beast staggered and collapsed to the ground.
Another earthquake hit—but this time, it was one of joy.
Taowu was down. People cheered. The monster that had destroyed their home was finally defeated. "Hooray! Hooray!"
Taowu had caused 80% of Tokyo's destruction. The Self-Defense Force got 10% of the blame. The remaining 10%? That was on the people of Earth. The Spirit Bomb, made of their collective energy, also wrecked quite a bit—like digging out a round lake in the middle of the city.
It was over. The Twelve Gold Saints stood proudly in the sky, gleaming so brightly it hurt the eyes. But damn, they looked good. That many golden armored warriors in one place—no special effect could top that. It was pure epicness.
"Past me, we're entrusting our daughter to you. Make sure she's happy."
"Take care of Nono. We'll miss her. Goodbye," said Future Ada too.
They came in a rush and left the same way, disappearing along with the Gold Saints. They left behind the Quantum Earth and the feat of defeating Taowu.
"Taowu was stronger than I imagined," Liu A'dou sighed. 'The road to getting stronger really has no end.' The energy from his own Ultimate Microcosmos probably wouldn't be enough to beat it. But now wasn't the time to dwell on that.
"I'm going to be a dad. Ada-jie, your job is so tough—are you thinking of quitting?" Liu A'dou asked with concern.
But Ada was a workaholic. She couldn't let go of her S.H.I.E.L.D. duties. She used to be just a corporate spy, risking her life for little reward. Now as long as she kept working hard, she could keep rising through the ranks—and she liked that. "A'dou, I think I can still keep working for now. When I can't anymore, I'll apply to train new recruits at the academy. I'll be fine."
Seeing his wife had already thought it through, Liu A'dou could only support her. "Ada-jie, just be careful. You're a mom now—think about our daughter too."
"Relax. I care more about our daughter than you do."
Since Nono had shared her memories with her parents, they didn't feel like strangers at all. In fact, she already felt incredibly familiar to them.
