Chapter 210 - Chapter 210: Stealing the Crystal

Liu A'dou used his beginner's Force to move a forklift in front of the two inexperienced young elves. It wasn't anything extraordinary, but to the Green Elves, this power was truly magical.

The Green Elves, like humans, didn't have any innate talents. So, they developed their own technology, which was much more advanced than humanity's—at least they were a beginner-level spacefaring civilization. However, the peace-loving Green Elves didn't possess many large-scale destructive weapons. The Force, to them, was completely unscientific, something as unbelievable as fairy tales.

"Would you like to learn? I can teach you," Liu A'dou said, flipping his hand, and effortlessly tipping the forklift over.

Ben and Kailan widened their eyes in disbelief. Kailan didn't understand what Liu A'dou was saying, her eyes filled with a trace of fear. Ben, on the other hand, looked at Liu A'dou with intense desire. If he could learn this power, he could avenge his uncle. His eyes burned with passion as a voice in his mind urged him to learn.

"Please teach me."

Liu A'dou saw the anger and determination in Ben's eyes. This was great motivation for training.

Liu A'dou flicked his wrist again, returning the forklift to its original position, and smiled. "Training isn't urgent. First, you need to teach this young princess English. To learn the Force, you must first learn to be calm and composed. This will make your learning more effective." Liu A'dou didn't mention that he still needed time to build a lightsaber. Without the lightsaber, without Jedi combat skills, using only the Force would significantly reduce combat power.

Liu A'dou had the blueprints for a lightsaber, but he lacked the most crucial ingredient—pure crystals. He thought about stealing them, but the quantity he needed was considerable. There seemed to be only one place where he could fulfill such a large need.

"Let's head back first. After I transport your uncle's body to Antarctica, I'll come back to teach you the Force. Before that, take care of Kailan. Remember, you're a man now," Liu A'dou said, glancing at Kailan. "Ben, do you have a way to change Kailan's appearance? She's too noticeable like this."

"This is a secret potion that can permanently change our Green Elf appearance."

"If you have it, give some to Kailan too," Liu A'dou said, then drove them back home. On the way, they discussed what the Force was, filling Ben with longing.

Ben translated for Kailan, but the term "Force" didn't have a meaning in their elf language. So, he translated it as "original power." Kailan, though still confused, understood that this man wanted to teach them that magical power. She was willing to learn and felt less fearful of Liu A'dou.

Both of these young elves had a good sense of the Force. Liu A'dou thought to himself that perhaps Jedi knights would rise from these two.

When Liu A'dou returned to the warehouse, he loaded all the frozen sculptures onto the 'Archimedes' transport plane. The owl-shaped, flat, round aircraft didn't conform to aerodynamics, but with the powerful thrust from its super-engine, the surrounding jet nozzles allowed this spherical plane to fly freely within the atmosphere. This just proved that as long as the engine is powerful enough, even a brick could fly.

Liu A'dou also used technology from Paradise Island to make the owl transport plane invisible. This made transporting items incredibly convenient. He took the familiar route to Antarctica, dropped off the frozen bodies in the icy wasteland. It was eco-friendly and energy-efficient—these ice sculptures could be preserved indefinitely.

Liu A'dou changed into his Kaitou Kid costume, grabbed all the useful tools, filled the transport plane with fuel, and then turned the plane north to search for the crystals needed for the lightsaber.

It was going to be a long journey. Liu A'dou set the plane to autopilot and spent his time in the warehouse thinking about how to teach the Force. The Force was really similar to Ripple, with both offensive and defensive applications. To master the Force, one had to make it instinctive. As soon as the lightsaber was drawn, the Force shield would cover the body for defense. When the Force was used offensively, it not only enhanced the body but also allowed the user to predict the opponent's movements. That's why, in movies, Jedi can deflect bullets with their lightsabers—it's the combination of the Force defense and prediction.

As Liu A'dou continued to think, he understood how the Force actually worked. The Force was an accumulative energy. It required constant meditation and practice to cultivate the Midichlorians through the Force. The more of these cells, the stronger the Force. In battle, the Force would be released. The difference between the Force and Ripple was that Ripple could form as long as there was breath, but the Force couldn't be used effectively if it hadn't been accumulated over time. The Midichlorians cells didn't just appear; the amount of these cells determined how strong the Force was. That's why Jedi trained so diligently, like monks.

As for what the Midichlorians cells actually were, Liu A'dou found the explanation in the training manuals very mysterious. While the Midichlorians were the Force-carrying substance discovered by Jedi through microscope research, no one really knew how the cells formed. It was just an explanation that worked. No one knew how mysterious the Midichlorians were, as they didn't live or die.

Liu A'dou didn't know how many Midichlorians cells were in his body, but he didn't rely solely on the Force. He also had Ripple and his Microcosmos. The reason he studied the Force was to teach his students and maintain the image of a master. He needed to master the Force so that when his students asked questions, he wouldn't be caught off guard. If they only asked simple questions, he could easily deflect them. But if they pressed him for answers, that would be a different story.

That said, the Force was actually pretty useful. Combined with the lightsaber, it was incredibly cool. A swordsman was always a symbol of grace, and a cosmic swordsman was the perfect combination of modern science and ancient chivalry. The Saints in ancient times might have looked impressive, but in the modern era, there was always the embarrassment of cosplay. Jedi knights didn't have that problem. Jedi fashion was far superior to the Saints. A Jedi spinning a lightsaber was just ridiculously cool.

Liu A'dou definitely planned to get himself a lightsaber too. In the future, he would even start a lightsaber business, wholesaling them across the universe. This required a lot of crystals, so he set his sights on the North Pole—the Fortress of Solitude, Superman's home.

Kryptonian crystal technology was extremely advanced, a product of over one hundred centuries of advanced civilization. Their crystals were pure high-energy crystals, perfectly suited for lightsabers. Superman's Fortress of Solitude was made entirely of these crystals. A few knocks on them wouldn't harm anything—there were just so many.

The Archimedes flew from Antarctica to the North Pole, burning fuel rapidly. Liu A'dou regretted not learning how to fly yet, so he had to burn through money for this trip. At least tens of thousands of dollars worth of fuel would be burned on this journey. A round trip would not only waste fuel, but also precious time. Liu A'dou's time was incredibly valuable. Fortunately, he had a mechanical assistant to help with distractions. Having an assistant made things much easier when he was stretched too thin.
