Violet knew she had to make a decision and quick. Her day of marriage was only three days away, after all. Violet knows that she has two choices. Stay or leave. She could stay with her people and everything she's ever known. Or she could leave, escaping her marriage and finding out what the world is outside the palace walls.
Violet knows that each has its own advantages and disadvantages. Staying would be the safe choice, but she'll have to worry about that curse the prophecy mentioned. Leaving would fulfill the prophecy, but it could get her killed. Violet thought, what should I do? In three days time I'll be married to that prince.
Over the next two days, Violet continues to contemplate whether to leave or stay until it's the night before her wedding.
Violet sat in her room. Her long, wavy vibrant purple hair overlaying her shoulders. Her purple eyes sparkling with frustration as she fiddled with her dress. As she's lost in thought, someone knocks on her door.
"Hello?" Violet calls, not knowing who is there. "Violet" Victor's voice calls "I have someone you need to meet." Violet hesitantly opens the door, revealing Victor standing with a boy.
The boy has short, messy black hair. His black eyes contrasted with his white pupils. Unusual. He's wearing a dark purple suit. A shade of purple perhaps? His skin: a light black, almost white color.
"This is Blake," Victor said, knowing what was coming next. "Blake as in the prince of the Black kingdom? As in slaughtered five hundred of the White Kingdom's soldiers? Including tints of Purple?" Violet asked, shocked.
"Yup, that's me, hottie~" Blake said in a flirty tone. Violet rolls her eyes, not impressed by his tone. "Let me talk to her, Vic. In private," Blake said to Victor. "Fine. But if you hurt her. . ." Victor threatens. "Calm down man, I won't hurt the pretty lady," Blake says with a smirk.
Violet stepped aside, warily letting Blake in. Once inside, she closes the door behind him. As soon as the door is closed, Blake's flirty and charming demeanor immediately changes to dangerous and aggressive. He pins Violet against the wall. "You're gonna listen to me, ok? When we're married you are mine to control, got it?" Blake's voice is aggressive.
Violet's eyes widen in surprise for a moment before a plan forms in her head. "Yes, Blake. I will do whatever you say," Violet says, her eyes shining with submission. "Good girl. Knows what's good for ya," Blake smirks as he leaves her room, thinking he's won.
When Blake is gone, Violet breathes a sigh of relief. Having fooled him and made up her mind. She knows that it'll be hard, but she has to do this for her kingdom, right? I can't believe I'm doing this. It'll be quick, it has to, Violet thought, if I don't, I don't know what would happen to them.
The rest of the day went by quickly, for Violet at least. As time flew by, Violet was preparing for the next day. Until it was the sunrise in the Kingdom of Purple. Excitement in the air for the first real princess of Purple to be married in eons. Violet was in her chambers, getting ready.
Violet was wearing a middle purple dress, which she had cut the puffy sleeves off of. She was trying to get her armor on over the dress, but she couldn't move her legs or arms. Violet uses her sword to cut a triangle shape out of the front of the armor, freeing her legs. She next does the same to the joints of her arms. She put her sword in its holder before grabbing her scepter.
Violet jumped out her window, running into the forest that led to the Pink Kingdom. She knew that she had to get the supplies she needed and go to the land of no color.
Violet had made her choice. Stay or leave. She chose the latter.
