"BOTH OF YOU—STAND DOWN!" Roy shouted, aiming his rifle at both of us...
"Ok, whatever, sheriff… Now where are the photo tapes he had?" I said calmly as I turned, pointing at Frank, and casually started to walk toward Roy.
"I can't hand you evidence that could be—"
Before Roy could finish, Leo sped forward, grabbed the edge of Roy's rifle and pushed it away, then put his hand on Roy's forehead. 'Chi mind meld… is very useful for times like this too when I want to know where something is kept…. Anyway, found it where the photos are kept…' Before anyone could move, he turned while keeping Roy in front of him. Roy, on the other hand, went almost motionless.
"STAND DOWN!" all the cops screamed at Leo, but he just calmly stepped to the drawer on the other side, pulling Roy with him. Leo's hand was still on Roy's head.
Leo slid his other hand into the drawer, ignoring the cops' shouting, pulled out two small photo tapes, put them in his pocket, and then pushed Roy away.
Roy fell but quickly turned, pointed his rifle at Leo, and screamed.
"SHOOT!"
Leo actually looked shocked. He thought, "What? I thought he would be too scared and shocked by the feeling of the chi mind meld that he would just not be able to speak!" As the bullets were fired, Leo moved fast with chi in his body, dashing to the other room—the jail cell, to be exact.
The second he was out of sight—
Fast put both hands up, one on the jail cell—Marlena Olin was inside—and the other aimed at the back door of the station, which was industrially fortified. Without a second wasted—
Two rings shot out from both of Leo's arms!
Woosh!
Woosh!
BANG!
BOOM!
One hit the industrially fortified door and tore it apart; the other ring smashed through the jail door.
Without speaking, Leo moved at speed and grabbed Marlena, who was stunned from the sudden ring smashing into her cell. Leo threw Marlena over his shoulder and, using chi, ran out of the police station.
It all happened in seconds. People peered into the jail room and saw the hole in the door and the cell that had held Marlena—broken.
"What the fuck is happening? Who the fuck was that guy?" Roy asked, looking at Frank; everyone in the station looked at Frank—his mind was still stunned. Roy felt like he had smoked while drinking.
Frank, on the other hand, was lost in thought.
"Billy broke out? No, how does he even know? Wait... he knows I wanted to do this… That brat knows I like doing this… So he gave me a tip on what to do because this problem was solved? Hahahaha, fucking insane… Not only that, since when was he so fast? His reaction time got better…"
Frank realized something else too—Leo knew him better than Frank had thought, and that thought put a weird smile on his face.
A few seconds later a helicopter hovered over the police station.
Dinah Madani, a CIA officer, climbed down and pulled Frank out of jail. Before she could speak, Frank asked, "Is Billy out?" Dinah was speechless for a second.
"How did you know?" Dinah asked. Frank smiled, shook his head, looked at Amy, and said, "If you want me, I want her to come with me too…"
Frank thought, 'Even if the boy said he has taken care of people, I can't trust that brat fully. After all, I never taught him how to kill…' Anyway, he has grown, huh? Good for him. Frank walked with Amy behind him.
And Amy was visibly actually shaken…
Amy thought, 'That was the scariest man I have ever seen; he knew everything, did whatever he wanted, and got out just like that… like a snap of a finger… What's even more scary and impressive is that he did not even kill anyone… How is the nephew more scary than the uncle?' Part of Amy wanted to run away, but another part actually felt safer around Frank.
Amy fantasized about Frank having a crazy family background…
On the other hand, Leo reached the car at the end of the road near the police station… and opened the car door, put Marlena in the back seat, closed it, and walked to the passenger seat, getting in casually.
"Drive to the Schultz Mansion and you will be able to meet your family," he said. John, who was in the driver's seat, quickly started the car and drove off.
"Wait, WAIT, what the hell is going on here?! Who is this guy? Don't you want the girl?" Marlena blurted as she sat.
"Shut up, Marlena. Forget about your job; it was a failure anyway. Honestly, do you know even if I was not here, he would have killed you anyway?" I said, calm and almost annoyed. Marlena looked from me to John quickly.
"What? Kill me?" Marlena looked at John differently now.
"Yes, that's how they do things in the brotherhood, you know? If you fail the job, you go to God. Simple. But because of me… I just did a really big favor for you, Marlena. I saved your life. You have to pay me back." I spoke calmly as I took my cap off and ran my hand through my hair, slicking it back.
"The brotherhood? He is from the brotherhood; no wonder he is a weirdo… and no, I am not paying you back, whoever you are." Marlena moved fast, pulling the seat belt and throwing it around Leo's neck. She pulled—but Leo casually grabbed the belt and pulled harder.
"Ah, what the hell? Are you made of?" Marlena said, shocked as she kept trying to pull, but Leo just held the belt.
"Stop, he took out the whole team in seconds…"
John said calmly, and Marlena let go. She sat back, stared at the doors, and John locked them. Marlen spoke in an annoyed way…
"There is simply no way that's true. Even if it is, this does not make sense. Why are you listening to him?"
"Because he is my lord and savior."
