And just then someone slaps the back of my head, making me jump in the chair, and I look at Abby like she was crazy and speak, "What was that for?" And Abby speaks in an annoyed tone! "What do you mean? Dumbwit! You asked me a random question and then just went all quiet! Are you not going to tell me about her?" And I look at Abby, and, well, I really did want to laugh, but at the same time I did not want the spoon in Abby's small fist thrown at me...
"Ok, ok, well, maybe later, ok? I'll tell you if I actually do have someone, and only if she wants me to tell you about her, ok? Let's just say she is a little shy." I speak in a casual tone, not admitting anything or saying anything. I was just yapping for real. This also just gave me another option to lie to Abby later. I could just say I was going out on a date while I make another trip to China... or doing something else...
"She is shy? Leo, what the hell! Ok, at least tell me this: she is about your age, right? Don't tell me it's someone like way older?" and Abby speaks in a questioning tone; she almost sounds like a cop who was in the interrogation room...
"Keep guessing, sis. I am not saying anything more without my lawyer anyway. The dinner was lovely, but I want chicken next time, ok?" I speak in a casual tone as I stand up, and before Abby could speak, I was already inside my room, leaving Abby alone at the dining table.
Abby mutters, "Lawyer? Yeah, we need a lawyer. If I find out who this girl is, you bet I am beating her up! Leo never lies to me! How dare she make my stupid brother lie! and go out without telling me... she is obviously a bad influence on my bro!" and I eat the pasta fast!
And Leo, on the other hand, was inside his room gathering information about Jessica Jones, IGH, and also Kilgrave... with the help of Ava. And well, about IGH, it was pretty much all fake news, but good news: IGH does have an address. Even if they hide what they do, they can't hide their work inside their base...
And Jessica Jones? Well, yeah, everything Ava got on Jessica was pretty much 100% similar to what happened in the show, and right now Jessica was just starting to act like a superhero. She will meet Kilgrave this month if the dates match up, and for Kilgrave, there was, well, close to nothing on this guy. Well, no matter if he can control people, he can't control every phone and photo and video on the internet... Yeah, Ava found a small trail about Kilgrave. This guy was actually kind of bad at hiding from the internet… Other than his mind control powers, he did not know shit about hiding from the net... He was just a normal egoist dude...
A little smart because he had, in fact, done a lot of crime; he had more than one bank account filled with cash... but again, who could not do a little bit of crime? If you had the mind-controlling power? No one would be able to stop you in this world, at least... not a normal person... How can I stop him? Well, just make a robot and send it to where Kilgrave is, and then the robot will beat Kilgrave up and bring him to the wooden house, where Kilgrave would be a really good test dummy... and that's only one way I could use XL8 to move so fast that Kilgrave doesn't even realize what hit him, and then Kilgrave is knocked out, and then I run to the wooden house...
There are other ways too. Maybe my Chi and Iron Fist can fight against Kilgrave's superpower? Kilgrave's mind control pretty much works in a way to control another person's mind through literal verbal commands and make them completely obedient to him. How does he do this crap? Well, it's because of a virus that he emits through microparticles in the air. His power was revealed to be a side effect of the viral treatment used to cure his childhood degenerative disease. His ability is always active, as he cannot stop his body from producing the virus, and anyone within his immediate proximity is affected but doesn't realize it until he issues a command. The nature of Kilgrave's viral mind control required him to be physically present for his commands to have an immediate effect.
So if I cover my body with Chi, not letting Kilgrave's virus touch my skin, could Kilgrave's mind control be useless against me? That's another possible way to beat Kilgrave, but that's not even the easy option. The easy option would just be to send Shield some information about Kilgrave and then watch how he'll fall upon Kilgrave. That one-eyed bald man will never let Kilgrave live...
See, this is the problem with only having one superpower or one card up your sleeve. No matter how strong you are, you will always have some sort of weakness... But, well, that does not matter for now. I will deal with Kilgrave when he comes, and, well, I am not scared of Kilgrave. I am pretty sure the failsafe of the Omnitrix would notice something trying to enter my body and turn me into an alien for sure. Well, in Ben 10, the OG show, Ben does get mind-controlled once, but that was when the Omnitrix did not have a failsafe. Plus, I have been doing testing with the failsafe, and with the help of Gray Matter, I can proudly say that this failsafe is messed up...
I mean anything that puts my life in danger or anything I am scared of will activate the failsafe. The reason that the failsafe did not activate when I was sparring with Frank months ago was because I was not really scared of Frank, and also Frank was not trying to kill me... And also, I say this failsafe is messed up because, well, sure it works, BUT sometimes the failsafe just activates when I am not even in danger. I was going to stab myself, but before I could even pick up the knife, the failsafe activated. It's almost like it knew what I was planning to do...
And that's why it's messed up because I might just turn into Waybig... If something activates my fail-safe, it's like a 1 in 12 chance everything around me just goes small, and I might possibly break through a building if I am inside a building... And that's why the fail-safe is a little messed up; it does not care about anything else other than my safety...
Ah, anyway, I go to college the next day and meet Jessica Jones...
And then save her? Ha, that sounds like something a hero would say...
