[ Tianming POV]{
Heading west towards the bandits.
I traveled for a couple of hours.
arriving at what looks to be a den of bandits. Shabby looking tents in the process of being build.
Hiding in a tall tree a watched them. Looking for anyone that seemed strong, but after an hour i got bored. There didn't seemed to be anyone that would pose much of a threat to me.
The strongest bandit only being a level 30 soul master at best.
I quietly unleashed my first soul spirit.
The mask my mother made began turning from a simple brown mask to a red demon mask with a wide open mouth.
Unleashing my first skill : phantom weave
An illusion type skill and a very powerful one at that.
In an instant the entire bandit camp was engulfed in my illusions. One of the bandits got up and stabbed a guy that was standing right next to him in his throat.
After that everyone suddenly went beserk, they started killing each other like wild beasts, not know it was their own partners blood that they are spilling.
It was a quite the show.
In the end the entire campsite ground was covered in blood. With only the soul master that was level 30 surviving.
He was on his knees in the middle of the camp still under my illusion. Even when i was standing right behind him he still didn't detect me.
"Blame your own luck for choosing to camp so close to the village my mom lives in" I grabbed his head with one hand crushing it into paste.
Blood and brain matter spattered on me.
"…"
…
The quiet Walk back home after washing myself in a river was nice. No blood, no screaming.
Just me and nature.
Returning home i felt that something was wrong.
Someone was inside my hut.
I slowly opened the door only to see a girl passed out on my bed. Her abdomen pierced by something that looked like metal.
"My bed…" i said sorrowful looking at the blood leaking onto my bed.
I went inside…taking some medicine my mom gave me for stopping blood when injured.
Even though i never got injured in my life. She still gave it to me.
I removed the girl's upperbody clothes to affectively apply medicine to the wound, I don't really know if it's gonna help because I never used it myself.
I did stop to look at her wel developed brea-…uhm what i meant was, i did look if she had any onther injuries .
When saving lives, you must take extra precautions and be even more thorough. After patching her up I covered her with a new blanket mode out of beast pelts.
Going to my outside kitchen i began making meat stew.
A whole day passed by and she still didn't wake up. So i went to the woods to gather some wood for chopping.
I left her note to explain who i was and what i did. Didn't need her to attack me the moment she woke up…no thank you.
…
A couple hours later I returned with some logs and saw her sitting upright on my bed. The note i had left lying on the bed. It seemed that she had read it.
Her eyes focused on my every move.
"Finally awake are you.."i said Stacking the wood outside next to the little hut.
She stayed quiet for while before opening her mouth.
"Thank you…for saving me"she said. Her calm voice was quite pleasing to the ear.
"What are you…?" She asked looking at me. It seemed that my horns and skin color had attracted her curiosity.
"That's a bit rude of you to ask that out right, but i'm human…maybe" I said not really minding her question as i was already used to it.
I stepped inside the hut and handed her a bowl of meat stew.
"My name's tianming…what's yours?"
"Bibi dong…"
Fuck me in the as-…
"You're the uhmm saint something right.."
"The holy saintess…yes" she said hesitantly.
"Damn, your like a pretty important person aren't you" i said as nonchalant as i could, sitting down on a little chair next the bed and began eating my stew.
"Now i'm not really one to pry into someone's personal matters but i have to ask, should i be expecting unwanted guests at my front door?"
"No, what happened to me was an accident" she said shaking her head slightly.
"Alright that settles it then…you need to rest and i have some work i need to finish before the sun goes down." I said standing up and heading outside.
…
Like that time passed by…she stayed inside to recover while i did my chores outside.
Night time came and that brought some complications as i was not willing to sleep outside of my own house.
I wasn't a simp nor did i need an emotional connection with someone that badly.
I went inside, took some extra pelts that I hadn't stitched into blanket from the storage unit and placed them on the ground next to the bed.
"Don't look at me like that, this is my house and i'm not sleeping outside." I said. She didn't respond and just layed down and closed her eyes.
I too went to sleep.
A couple minutes later bibi dong open her eyes again. She silently sat up and contemplated how she got here and if she should kill this shameless man now while he's defenseless.
She was exploring a ancient rune with her group, The ancient rune suddenly appeared near the holy city. Inside one of the rooms She had activated a trap of some sort, a metal spike suddenly flew at her and pierced her abdomen and then it began to glow.
Next thing she knew, she was laying on a bed in a strangers home a long way from the holy city.
Her head hurts even thinking about it…now about this red skinned stranger.
He dared to sleep in the same room as her, the holy saintess.
But after thinking it through she shook her head. He had saved her life…she owed him. Thinking like that she went back to sleep.
Tianming sitting on the small chair watched bibi dong very closely. He saw the murderous intent in her eyes for a split second before it disappeared.
The *him* sleeping on the ground was nothing but an illusion.
He wasn't stupid enough to let his guard down around this woman.
This was the cultivation world after all.
