Chapter 103 - Chapter 103: Researching New Moves

The villa transfer process was surprisingly efficient. The paperwork was handled quickly, the money was transferred without a hitch, and within just a few days, the entire property was officially in Bella's name.

Bella didn't bring much with her when she moved in—just a few essentials like clothes, shoes, and some personal belongings. She was never one to hoard material things. But when Angie found out Bella had actually gone ahead and bought a whole villa without telling her, she nearly lost it over the phone.

"You're not my sister anymore! How could you look at houses without me?" Angie had shrieked in mock outrage.

Of course, it was all part of their banter. Their relationship went far deeper than typical sibling bonds. If ordinary biological sisters shared 80% of their lives, Bella and Angie shared 120%. They were each other's ride or die.

In the end, Angie bargained her way into becoming one of the villa's co-hosts—mainly because Bella had offered her a rent-free arrangement. Who was going to pass that up?

Besides, this wasn't the first time they'd helped each other make big decisions. When Bella first started dabbling in stocks, she casually brought it up with Angie. After all, as an only child from a well-off family, Angie received a generous allowance every year. Without thinking much of it, Angie tossed her spare savings to Bella and let her handle the investments.

Fast-forward to now—while Angie's net worth was still behind Bella's, she had amassed her own fortune. With stock growth and good timing, she now had a portfolio valued at around 500 million, making her a bona fide "little rich lady."

On Angie's days off, the two spent hours furnishing and decorating the villa. They bought new furniture, set up cozy corners, and even threw an impromptu backyard barbecue. Music, laughter, and the smell of grilled skewers filled the air. It was a brief but happy reprieve.

But as all good things do, it came to an end too quickly. Angie had to return to school the next day. As she packed her things, she grumbled about how unfair life was and vowed dramatically, "Just wait! I'm going to graduate early and live the boss life too!"

Once she left, the villa felt eerily quiet.

That was when the small figure of Sally reappeared.

The little Lolita, who had been hiding while Angie was around, suddenly started zipping around the house, grinning from ear to ear. Clearly, she had been waiting for her turn to enjoy the space.

Bella couldn't help but laugh.

But she had more important things on her mind.

Now that the house was set up and her investments were stable, it was time to shift focus—toward herself. Specifically, her combat style.

Despite being incredibly powerful, Bella's fighting methods had become somewhat predictable. Over time, she had naturally developed her own rhythm and style during battles, a personal combat system. However, it was still relatively simple—relying on overwhelming force and raw magical power.

It wasn't necessarily a weakness, but it was a limitation.

Up until now, Bella had rarely been pushed into a proper high-level duel. There had been only two opponents who truly challenged her: Thor of Asgard, and the Demon King Mephisto.

The former—Thor—had been in a weakened state during their encounter. Their fight had mostly involved Bella getting slammed around like a ragdoll, but that experience taught her about divine-level brute strength.

The latter—Mephisto—was more of a psychological encounter than a physical one. He hadn't gone all out, and the confrontation was brief and cryptic, more about mind games than combat.

Still, both clashes gave her valuable insight.

Bella could now roughly place herself on the cosmic power scale. She believed she hovered somewhere around Sub-Godfather Level—which, in simplified terms, meant planetary destruction was within her capability under the right conditions.

For instance, if she fully unleashed her magical energy, she could channel it through a powerful beam weapon—like her version of the Excalibur beam (or as she jokingly called it, the "ex curry stick")—to drill from the Earth's crust straight to its core. Theoretically, that could destabilize the planet and cause it to explode.

Keyword: theoretically.

Of course, it wasn't something she could try lightly. But this gave her a framework to understand her limits and, more importantly, her next goals.

She wasn't at Godfather Level yet. Beings like Odin, in his prime, were capable of matching the Celestials—beings who could create or destroy galaxies. That was a different league altogether.

And Thanos? In his base form, he might also be a Sub-Godfather. But as he gathered more Infinity Stones, his strength scaled astronomically, eventually surpassing even Godfather Tier.

Bella felt that, on a good day, she could probably go toe-to-toe with a Thor who had gone a bit soft—like the post-Endgame "Fat Thor" version. But Odin? Or full-power Thanos? Not yet.

Still, power wasn't everything. Versatility mattered.

And that's what Bella wanted to develop now.

Changing an entire combat style wasn't easy. But what she could do was expand her toolkit—develop new moves, techniques, and strategies. At the core of her power was still her magical energy, and that's where she would start.

Sitting cross-legged in the meditation room of the villa, Bella entered a deep state of concentration. Magical symbols floated around her like glowing fireflies, shimmering in the dim light.

Then a thought struck her: What about particle collisions?

From her studies, she recalled something about electrons colliding with atoms—physics 101. When an electron hits an atom, there's a Coulomb interaction—the exchange of energy between the incident electron and the target atom's nucleus and electrons.

The laws of momentum and energy conservation always held true in these collisions.

Bella's eyes lit up.

If she could magically manipulate electrons and atoms to simulate these interactions, could she intensify the energy exchange and create a new kind of attack?

A pure, focused energy ray with enhanced kinetic force.

She began crafting runes mid-air, forming a matrix of magical channels that mimicked atomic structures. Then she summoned a swarm of energy particles—some mimicking electrons, others representing atomic nuclei.

"Conserve momentum... conserve energy... amplify magic throughput..." she murmured to herself.

As the particles accelerated, they began to collide in her controlled simulation. Each impact generated a spark of glowing energy, which she collected and compressed using magical conduits.

The room lit up with blinding blue light.

She gritted her teeth. The mana cost was enormous, but it was working.

If this worked on a larger scale, the resulting beam could pierce magical shields, bypass armor, and deliver devastating concussive force directly to a target's internal systems.

She made a note to test it in a controlled environment—preferably not in the middle of a city.

Satisfied with the preliminary results, she stopped the simulation and let the magic disperse. Sweat clung to her forehead, and her breathing was heavy.

But her mind was racing with possibilities.

This was just the beginning.

Over the next few days, Bella worked tirelessly on refining the energy-ray technique, experimenting with variations like delayed detonations, magnetic redirects, and even multi-beam splits. She called her invention: Stellar Lance Protocol.

It sounded cool—and deadly.

During a brief break, she received a call from Kingpin. He had been watching Bella's recent investments and real estate activity with interest.

"I'm impressed, Miss Bella," he said in his deep, gravelly voice. "It seems you're not just strong—you're smart with money too."

Bella smirked. "Why thank you. But I didn't know you were into compliments, Mr. Kingpin."

Kingpin chuckled. "Flattery is free, but opportunity isn't. Keep building your empire. We may need each other sooner than you think."

The call ended, and Bella leaned back in her chair, gazing at the ceiling.

She wasn't just becoming stronger.

She was becoming something more.

A force not just of destruction or defense... but of transformation.

And she was just getting started.
