Zeyan leans back slightly in his chair, fingers tapping once on the table.
"So… what do you think?" he asks. "Which city are you planning to move to?"
I blink, caught off guard for half a second, then shrug lightly.
"Ah… you know, right now my place is pretty near NBRC," I say, rubbing my thumb against my finger. "And the government org I'm working at too. This city is kind of perfect." I pause, then add softly, "Even Jiang can travel to Corum easily."
Yuyu hums, chin resting on her palm.
"I see," she says, eyes flicking over my face like she's reading between lines.
Zeyan exhales through his nose and straightens.
"Well, Yunhua," he says carefully, "this city is pretty expensive these days. Buying a good house here isn't easy." His gaze sharpens a little. "Not to mention… your budget is tight."
I lift my chin without thinking, shoulders stiffening.
"Don't worry about the budget," I say quickly. "I'll sell my apartment. And I have some savings too."
