After half a day of rest, the disciples of the Ancient Ten Great Sects have started diligently chopping trees and digging stones, continuing to accumulate materials waiting to repair the city in the mountains.
"Sir, you're finally back!" Little Lark fluttered its wings and swooped down, perching on his shoulder, chirping, "Lord Vermilion Bird can hardly wait anymore. There's so much to teach me, like fire manipulation and refining. But I'm reluctant to part with you, I wanted to say goodbye in person."
As it spoke, it almost started crying.
Initially, when its intelligence had not yet awakened, it was naive and only attracted to the powerful energy he possessed, intent on following him for cultivation. Perhaps it was from that moment that the seed was planted to become the Divine Bird Vermilion Bird.
