Saeko went forward killed all the zombies with nothing but her sword and her skills, it was easy compared to the first time she killed one of those zombies
Maybe because now she is used to those things especially after seeing how effortlessly Kaneki deals with them
Even though she can't do the same as him but at least after seeing how effortlessly he deals with them, she knows they aren't a big deal if you know where to attack
And it's easy if they aren't coming in groups, alone or a few zombies aren't a problem at all since zombies are small and have simple movements easy to predict for her
Even though a single bite might be lethal but that they can even touch her first since Saeko has been using her blade to kill any zombies who try to even touch her
And this goes on while Saya and Rei support her from the back even though they haven't fully recovered from shock but they know they needed to provide back up from there in order to help Saeko which will also increase their chance of survival
....
Some time later…
After this keeps on for a while, they finally reach some place even though this place dont seem intact much together but it would be a perfect shelter for a while now
Since all walls are standing straight while the only thing broken is furniture and it's obvious from this seeing this building that this building was used for commercial uses
But it's really hard to tell what kind of due to how much mess was inside, and it doesn't really matter to know since this place is really perfect for them right now
There are also many glass windows which are really helpful since they can see what's going on outside and not to mention outside zombies can't see them through the window
Since zombies dont have eyesight so they dont have to worry about getting seen but zombies' sense of hearing is very keen
Meaning they need to make sure to speak as low as possible in order to not get caught otherwise it would be a mess, considering the fact that due to the mess inside it's sure gonna make a lot of noise
Attracting all other zombies as well which gonna be bad for that since they can only see one exit which is the exact same way they came here meaning they would have no way out
Anyway, after coming inside they started to clean the mess since it would be much better unless they wanna make noise by mistake by stepping on broken pieces of furniture
"What should we do now?" Rei asked this question with worry-filled tone as she couldn't help but think about what they should do next
"Let's wait here till Kaneki comes back" Saeko replied to her while she took out her sword and put it on the table and sat nearby
Although she is very strong compared to the rest of the group but again she is also human at the end, she also gets tired which is the reason
She needs rest right now since she did most of the fighting, so she needs to rest if she needs to be prepared for future battles
"But do you think he will be okay…?" Rei asked this in a quiet tone as she was afraid to ask this question but she really wanted others to answer this question
"Of course it's really a question?! Dont you see what he's capable of, i am not sure no one can win against him" Saya said this in a tone filled with nothing but confidence as she is sure that Kaneki will win
Again she has worries in her mind as she couldn't help but think of worst-case possibilities which she wanna stopped thinking but she wanna stopped thinking about, but unfortunately her brain didnt listen to her at all
"I am sure he will be fine after all he is a super superhero" Alice who was with Shizuka speaks this with full trust in Kaneki even though she just met him last night
And even though she is the one who has been with Kaneki for less time than anyone else, she has full faith in him
To her, Kaneki is a superhero and she knows superheroes never lose which is the reason for her confidence
Looking at Alice, they couldn't help but look at Alice with blank expressions on their faces since they didnt expect her to think of Kaneki as some kind of superhero
Since if anyone looks at Kaneki then anyone would think him as some kind of monster instead of a hero but looking at Girl, no one tries to deny her claim
Because they all know no matter how he looks but there is one fact that they can't ignore which is that he saved their lives and cares for them
Which is no less than what a superhero would do, as Saeko, Saya, Rei and even Shizuka who was depressed couldn't help but smile at such an innocent statement by the child
"See even a kid knows he will be fine" Saeko said this to Rei who had doubts earlier as she couldn't help but feel lighter compared to her previous mood
"Yeah, I guess I was worrying for nothing" Rei replied to Saeko as she now feels a little bit better compared to a few moments ago
Saeko nodded to her response as she was satisfied with Rei's mood now as what this team needs right now is hope rather than despair if they needed to survive now then Saeko moved her head to the biggest problem right now
That problem is Shizuka right now Saeko couldn't help but think that Shizuka will be more depressed than anyone else in the group right now
