And it's because now Saya doesn't consider Kaneki as an ordinary human, which is why she won't be surprised if she gets to know that Kaneki is an old monster wearing a young skin
Rei couldn't find any words to refute what Saya just said as she also thought both possibilities were possible
"I'm really curious how Shizuka-sensei found him," Rei said in a curious tone as they knew that Shizuka seemed to find him first
Even though Rei asked this question, both Saya and Saeko were quiet since neither of them had any idea about that since Shizuka seemed to say nothing regarding that

Meanwhile shizuka…
'It's cold' Shizuka inwardly said as she shivered from the cold winds since right now she hardly wears anything at all, so it was obvious that she would be cold if she went out like this
"Heyy~ kan-chan~ come down~" Shizuka speaks as she calls for Kaneki after checking that there are no zombies around since it would be really bad if there were zombies and because of the noise, she attracts those zombies
This is why Shizuka only speaks after confirming the area is safe even though she knows Kaneki can take care of all the zombies easily she still doesn't wanna overwork him especially when he gets injured
Hearing her voice, Kaneki quickly got up from where he was lying and jumped down directly to the balcony where Shizuka was standing
"What are you doing here?" Kaneki asked this question as he saw her standing there since he didn't think she should be out like this with that outfit
"I am here for you~," Shizuka said as she pulled his head onto her chest and buried it in without his consent
"Let go inside first then" Kaneki replied who is still buried since he was still worried for her health since unlike him, she is just a human and if he were to say then he would think Shizuka was below a healthy person
This is the reason he doesn't think Shizuka should be here at this moment as he somehow gets out
of her grip and grab her hand
"Alright fine~" Shizuka replied as she agreed and both of them went inside while they were holding each other's hands
"What's the matter?" Kaneki asked this question as he looked towards Shizuka after they came inside and closed the balcony as now he wanted to know why Shizuka called him
"Nothing, I just wanna be with you right now~," Shizuka said as she sat on a nearby sofa and made him sit beside her
"…." Kaneki was silent to this as she was also used to talking like this when they were back at home and now as always he waited for her to speak up first
"Honestly I never imagined we would be stuck in this situation~," Shizuka said as she recalled today's event, still, she couldn't believe how much their world had changed in a day
They started their day like regular mornings but suddenly in a few hours all things happened that she never imagined in her life
Even though she doesn't really like this situation but she didn't dislike it, for others she might look mentally ill if Shizuka said this statement out loud
But there is a reason for her to have this mentality and that is she didnt really lose anything at all, Shizuka dont really care about her house, money or job
Her house is just a building for her, and that building only makes a home for her when the person she cares about is there for her daily as that person is none other than Kaneki who is still with her
As for Money? She can just earn it somewhere, she has a degree in the medical field which has high demand and that's why she can easily get a job somewhere
And lastly, the job she currently has? She does not really have any attachment to this job as most males don't matter to students or teachers always look at her with Lecherous eyes meanwhile females look at her with eyes like they are looking at the filth but Shizuka understands it only because they are just jealous
If anyone hears her reasoning then they are definitely gonna call her selfish and she won't deny that because humans are selfish creatures from the start
There are more reasons she doesn't dislike this Zombie apocalypse like how she gets to know how much she is important for Kaneki
Remembering how he came running barefoot just to save as well as this event also helped her to have a deeper bond with him
Even a student like Saeko whom Shizuka considered someone like a friend is safe with her as well as 2 other students who seem interesting too
Lastly, her best friend is out of this city meaning she is not in any danger, as the only pity is that she can't call her friend to let her know that she is safe
"Kan-chan, are you scared about our current situation?~," Shizuka asked this question as she was curious about his mental state right now
Even though all the times he looks composed and emotionless but who knows what is going on inside that head
"Yes" Kaneki replied and this surprised her a lot since she never expected him to say this in such a straightforward answer or more accurately to say that Shizuka was greatly surprised that he was scared and she knew somehow that Kaneki didnt lie
'Maybe he is just a kid inside?' Shizuka asked this in her mind thinking that even though Kaneki is so strong still his mind is young and thats the reason he is scared
"Dont worry, if you are scared then come into my arms~ your big sister will protect you~," Shizuka said as she opened her arms like she was inviting him
"I am not scared for myself" Kaneki says this in a very low tone after hearing what Shizuka has said as he realised that Shizuka made a mistake in his answer
He is not scared for himself rather he is scared for her, this situation does not scare him at all if he were alone because he has already experienced way worse situations compared to this one
This is the first time he has someone who cares for him and treats him well without any ulterior motive which is why she is important to him and he doesn't wanna lose
Unlike him who can pretty much survive anything, Shizuka is just a regular human who can be killed with a single bite from any zombie
'And I don't know if only those creatures are enemies right now' Kenaki inwardly said this as he till now he and the group had only encountered zombies that doesn't mean there are no more dangers
Even though he hoped the only danger would be zombies but unfortunately he couldn't guarantee that, which is the reason he worried
"Ah!!~ since when you started to talk with such sweetness!!!~" Shizuka said this as she quickly hugged him as she was finally able to understand what he meant
She was too happy and excited to understand that rather than being scared for himself, he is scared for her making her again realise how much she weighs in his heart
Kaneki tried to break free from her grip but Shizuka had a strong grip on his head and if he exerted more strength then it was possible that she might get hurt too
He tried to reason with her but unfortunately, it seemed Shizuka was not even listening to him now as she kept rubbing his head on her chest
*sigh*
'I will need to wait till she calms down' Kaneki inwardly said this as he released a tired sigh and thought it best to wait till she calmed down but he didnt know how much time it would take
'It's bad, I can directly feel her beneath that light cloth' Kaneki inwardly said this due to the fact that she was still only wearing a thin shirt on her body
So basically he can feel everything and especially after what happened in the bathroom, so now he rather conscious of her
No matter what he was a human male at the start which is the reason he can't control certain parts of his body But fortunately Shizuka's eyes are closed meaning she can't notice
Kaneki then started to think about something else in order to calm his body down but due to his head getting pressed, he couldn't focus
After a while, Shizuka finally let go of him but his Erection still hasn't gone down, Kaneki wanna escape from there but she seems to hold his hand
Before Kaneki could hide his Erection, Shizuka's eyes finally fell on his Crouch but it immediately reminded her of the experience she had with Kaneki making her blush too
Suddenly a strange thought came into her mind as she pointed her finger at his Crouch
"D-do you w-want my he-help with t-that?" Shizuka asked this in a shuddering tone as steam blew through her head
Like Kaneki, she is also just a virgin too as no matter how airheaded she is, she is still a girl meaning she will be ashamed if she talks about sexual topics directly to the opposite sex
It is not only about shame and embarrassment but rather it was also due to the fact that she doesn't want him to get the wrong idea thinking she is a woman who will spread her legs for anyone
"!!!!" Kaneki was totally stunned by her statement, as his brain had gone blank since this was his first time dealing with someone like Shizuka
Before Shizuka could say anything, Kaneki escaped from her grip as he ran away leaving her alone and making her stunned
'I guess he still doesn't really accept me yet?' Shizuka couldn't help but ask this question in her mind after seeing Kaneki running away
'What I was thinking!?!!?!?!??!!' Shizuka asked this question in panic as she swung her legs and covered her face with her hands after Kaneki had gone
Regretting her words earlier, Shizuka right now is feeling embarrassed by her actions and she couldn't help but wanna bury herself in the ground for this embarrassment
It took some time for her to recover from this state and then there was a visible sad expression on her face
*sigh*
Shizuka released a sad sigh thinking how much courage it took her to say those words still he ran away
'Does he dislike my body?' Shizuka asked this question unconsciously after seeing Kaneki's reaction Otherwise why would he run away
'No it shouldn't be possible otherwise why would his body react like that' Shizuka next said this in her mind as she quickly dismissed her previous thought otherwise he would not have an Erection
Not to mention all the men around her seem to look at her with nothing but lust in their eyes meaning there is no way in hell that she is an unattractive woman
'I think I just need to close our distance more before doing anything' Shizuka inwardly said this as she thought she needed to get closer to Kaneki before taking any action
'Or maybe I need to make a more bold approach?' Shizuka asked in her mind as she thought of this as a second option
Between 2 choices, she decided to choose the first choice because she thinks it is better to wait due to today's events since she thinks that if she immediately attacks him again then surely he would think of her as some kind of slutty woman which she definitely doesn't want at all costs
*sigh*
'I wonder how all this started?' She inwardly asked this question to herself after releasing a tired sigh while she began to think about how all this started
From the moment she entered high school, everyone saw her in a bad way even though they might not say it in front of her
