Chapter 106 - Naked Truth

When she woke up again, she opened her eyes and saw him in front of her, with his hands clasped in front of his waist and his eyes fixed on her face. Rito sighed for long seconds before looking at her body with furrowed eyebrows and twisted lips, questioning her transformation.

She refused to reveal any fact and asked the reasons for imprisoning her. Rito stood up and stood in front of her, saying that he would not allow her freedom for a while and already had plans to capture Faller and Victoria. He apologized for everything, however, declared that he would bring the change to that world that no one had done.

When he was about to leave, with his eyes between the hairs, she tried to understand his objective in imprisoning her. He refused to say any information, just as she had done earlier. When he left, the room went dark, Aurora lowered her head, whispering for her parents.

In the city of eternal rain, the woman with bare back stared at the floor in silence. The man beside her slid his hand over her skin, asking her to open up, not to hide what she felt. She squeezed his fingers, bringing them over her chest. A slow and strong beat.

He sat down, hugged her and murmured against her ears that she needed to forget the dark past, but she refused, arguing that she felt guilty for the death of a friend and even for the death of her husband's sister. He said nothing, rested his chin on her shoulder, saying that if guilt consumed her for not having participated in her rescue or in the search for evidence herself, she should understand that she had her reasons. She could not leave her daughter alone. And he knows that a daughter is more important than any life.

She trembled under his warmth, said against the back of the man's hands that if she had participated in the mission, she could have done more. He denied it and said he was content with everything. Lucy was happy while alive and he was able to see his sister one last time. But, with his tone lower, he also admitted to blaming himself for having blamed Mariane for his pain.

With the couple's lack of conversation, a shrill and childish sound came from the next room. The husband kissed her on the cheek, saying that, at that moment, they had more important things to resolve.

When she saw him leave, she watched the man without clothes get dressed before leaving the room. She squeezed the sheet against her chest, with a small smile beginning to form on her lips.

And, in the deepest part of the inferius, a pool of blood crawled between rubble, stones and the burning ground. It turned into smoke, but soon hid in the shadows. And then, it began to regenerate little by little.

The small pool began to become something bigger.

In Libretãnhya, in her imprisonment, Aurora was thrown on the floor, her body immobile. The iron nails scratched the modern ground in an agonizing sound. The wires and small creations fallen on the floor. And a small air transfer hole was found. She coughed before smiling. And her hands began to become something sharper. Meanwhile, she murmured about the foolishness of her leader in underestimating her.

And now, on the coldest morning in the kingdom of ice, people woke up to loud sounds coming from outside. They walked slowly to the door. They went out into the cold as if curiosity was greater than resistance and soon saw soldiers marching with weapons in hand toward them.

In the castle, the boy watched through the glass. The sister in a wheelchair looked at the paintings. He walked over to her, asking for direction, because he did not know how to act when seeing such a threat. She relaxed her muscles, asking for calm, because, even disabled, she would not allow anyone to take her kingdom. With her hands moving the wheels to face him, she asked him to stay with her. According to her words, he was man enough to face the cruel fact...

They were close to a war.
