Chapter 4 - THE STRONGEST PLAYER

The whole group looked at the building, and jubilated as this place could be called the lifeline of their group. Lily went inside the house while they were jubilating, and checked the book that she had found on the table.

 [territory tier: unranked]

 [inhabitants: 13]

[upgrade condition: 10 tier 1 energy cores, 10 tier 1 warriors, and 1 tier 1 core weapon]

When she saw the upgrade conditions, although the rest were easy to collect, she did not know where she could find core weapons. She took out the energy core of the beast they killed and absorbed it. This was the decision of the group after bickering on who to take it.

As she absorbed it, she felt the energy course through her, as her realm elevated from tier 2 to tier 3. As she got used to the feeling of the power, a notification flashed across her face.

 [Congratulations on reaching tier 3]

 [Please choose an energy affinity]

[assault, guard, agility, support, control, tactical, annihilation.]

Seeing the different affinities without descriptions, she was confused about which to choose, but after some thought, she chose control affinity.

[Control subclasses include: arcane binder, necromancer, puppet master, gravity shaper, chronomancer, shadow weaver, illusionist.]

Looking at the list of classes, she instinctively chose the necromancer class, she had used the class countless times in games she played in the past, so she saw no reason why she shouldn't choose it now.

 [Congratulations on becoming a necromancer.]

 [name: Lily]

 [tier: 3(low)]

 [class:Necromancer(basic)]

 [energy: 10,000]

 [skills:

Seeing that she now had skills and could use her energy for things other than constructing weapons and strengthening herself, she just laughed, imagining what she could do with the skills.

In another part of the world, Brandon, who had just killed a tier 3 beast alone and absorbed its core, also chose his affinity. He chose the assault affinity and the swordmaster class.

 [name: Brandon]

 [tier: 3(low)]

 [class: swordmaster(basic)]

 [energy: 10,000]

 [skills:

Whispering Zephyr: coat blade in wind element that amplifies blade speed and power by 30%

Now, I can finally call myself strong. Although he had killed a tier 3 beast while being at tier 2, he knew that he was still weak compared to the truly strong beasts.

Ezren, in his room, saw a flash on the system screen.

 [Host: Ezren]

 [game mall]

 [game creation]

 [game manipulation]

 [game points: 1345]

[You can now purchase abilities and cores from the game mall]

Seeing this, he just smiled. In the game world, although 3 days had passed, in the real world only 30 seconds had passed. The system already told him when he tried to open the game mall that only when a player reached tier 3 could he access the store. He opened the store and saw that only two subclasses had been unlocked, and the cores were only up to tier 3(low). He bought the two classes for 500 game points and bought cores to upgrade himself to tier 3. He knew that even if the player got stronger, only his strength could truly make him safe.
