His smile faded. "You can't do that."
"I just did."
Reyes stepped forward, his voice low and dangerous. "Do you have any idea who I represent? Do you know what will happen if you back out now?"
"I don't care."
His face twisted with rage. "Your father—"
"My father doesn't know what you're planning to do with these weapons. And when I tell him, he's going to make sure you never do business in this region again."
Reyes lunged forward. Viktor stepped between us, one hand on Reyes's chest, eyes cold as ice.
"Walk away," Viktor said quietly. "Now."
Reyes glared at him, then at me, then turned and stormed out.
I stood there, breathing hard, heart pounding.
Katya appeared a moment later, her expression unreadable. "What the hell just happened?"
"I canceled the deal."
Her eyes widened. "You what?"
"He was lying. The weapons were going to a terrorist group."
