Chapter 125 - Chapter 125: What About the Goddess? Kill the Fallen Angel with One Finger!

Everyone knew the name Lucifer—and the dread it carried.

The Fallen Angel.

The first to betray God.

When Gabriel saw Lucifer appear, her entire body broke out in cold sweat. Even the tiny hairs on her arms stood on end.

The leaves dancing in the air froze mid-fall.

The water splashing in the fountains hovered, motionless.

Time had stopped.

Lucifer's power exceeded everyone's imagination.

This wasn't a localized freeze.

He had halted the flow of time across the entire world.

And yet, despite this omnipotent power, Gabriel, Constantine, and the high-ranking believers of the Eternal Church remained unfrozen.

He had chosen not to freeze them.

Lucifer hadn't arrived for destruction.

He had simply come to observe—curious about what sort of spectacle this "amusing little mortal" named Constantine was about to deliver.

But what he saw?

A complete joke.

The ritual had been going for five minutes…

Still, not even a flicker of divine reaction.

How dull. How pitiful.

"You know, Constantine…" Lucifer whispered, draping his arm lazily over Constantine's shoulder.

"A man of your talents shouldn't waste away here. If you surrendered your soul, you'd be quite popular in Hell.

You wouldn't become a lowly beast—no, you'd be a noble incarnation like me.

Together, we could build paradise. House all of humanity inside it.

Hell, we could even toss in this so-called 'God' of yours…"

His voice oozed temptation.

But Constantine didn't flinch. He didn't even glance at him.

He simply continued to pray—steady, unwavering.

All around him, the other believers were drenched in cold sweat, but none of them stopped praying.

Their faith was unshaken.

They now believed, fully and completely, in Constantine's words:

Only the True Eternal God could save them now.

"God, please descend…"

"The fallen demon has come to corrupt our world! We misunderstood your greatness—grant us your divine gift!"

"Great God of Eternity, we are your faithful… please smite this demon!"

God's Domain.

Within the higher realm, Liu Che was organizing his divine powers when he heard the call—echoing deep within his heart.

A smile tugged at his lips.

"So, the newcomer Constantine has already started the sacrifice, huh?" he mused. "Good. New followers should take the lead in offerings."

He gave it a moment of thought.

"Alright. Let's send down Elizabeth and Lu Xueqi this time."

But when Liu Che scanned the world below, he was instantly enraged.

There was already a smoke-wreathed demon seducing believers—Lucifer.

"Tch! I haven't even sent anyone down yet, and already some damn crow is causing trouble!"

His expression darkened.

Without hesitation, he summoned Lu Xueqi and Elizabeth.

"We greet the Lord God," the two goddesses said respectfully, offering slight bows—the kind shared between those already close.

Liu Che had long since grown uncomfortable forcing women to kneel, so a nod in private sufficed.

"Rise," he said calmly.

"I have a task for you. A fallen angel in the mortal realm is targeting my believers. You know what must be done."

His voice was tranquil, but his divine anger bled through.

Lu Xueqi's expression turned to ice.

"This angel must die. Leave it to me."

To her, it didn't matter whether they were angels or demons—if they threatened her god, they were the enemy.

Elizabeth's eyes flared with fire.

"False gods must be shown the greatness of our Eternal Lord. I will make them understand."

Back on Earth.

Lucifer stood before Constantine, reaching out toward his soul, preparing to consume it.

When—

BOOM.

The sky split open in blinding radiance.

A divine light, vast and absolute, poured down from the heavens.

A light older than time. More powerful than even God's highest angels.

In an instant, Lucifer's disguise dissolved under the glare.

His flawless form crumbled.

His once-holy body withered like an ancient husk.

And there he stood—exposed.

Time shattered.

The entire world trembled.

People watching the global broadcast spiraled into madness.

"Oh my God… what—what is that?! He has black wings—is he the devil?!"

"No… no, that's not the Devil. That's… that's a fallen angel!"

A beam of divine light split the sky.

The world darkened beneath it, as if the heavens themselves were being rewritten.

No barrier. No spell. No enchantment could stop the glory of the True God descending.

Lucifer looked up—jaw clenched—as he beheld the white, star-filled sky.

Within it swam a massive, celestial serpent, coiled through the galaxy.

It turned to him—and looked.

That gaze alone was enough to rupture his essence.

"Ugh—AGHHH!!"

His body trembled violently.

No—it cracked.

SNAP.

The right half of Lucifer's form fractured and fell apart—unable to withstand even a glance from the divine serpent.

"What the hell is this?!"

Lucifer howled in agony.

He, the arch-fallen angel, once the most beautiful of Heaven…

And now, unable to endure even a look?

Above, the divine light began to fade—lest the world itself collapse beneath it.

Lucifer, breath ragged, finally caught a glimpse of the divine form:

A celestial serpent with horned head, star-patterned scales, and a body that coiled through galaxies.

It radiated power so dense, so ancient, Lucifer didn't even dare peer into its soul.

Each pulse of its aura surpassed his own.

Perhaps only Satan himself could compare.

Constantine slowly raised his head.

Tears welled at the corners of his eyes.

He picked up the microphone, and his voice rang out—not just through the city, but across every broadcast screen around the world:

"Do you see now?!

This… THIS is the realm of the True God!

Satan, Lord of Hell—where are you?

Lord God of Heaven—why haven't you come?

Where are your miracles?! Where is your power?!

Do you DARE to show yourselves before us?!

You cowards!

You weak-willed, trembling executioners who toy with human fate!

The God of Eternity has come!

And you? You're nothing!!!"

Constantine's words reverberated across the world—echoing through televisions, radios, and the hearts of billions.

They even pierced the veil between realms, reaching Heaven and Hell.

The two supreme lords of those realms felt it immediately.

They sensed the arrival of a new Divine Realm… the descent of the God of Eternity.

But…

They didn't move.

Couldn't move.

Since the day they ascended to godhood, their domains had become fixed.

God resided in Heaven.

Satan reigned in Hell.

That was the natural order.

But now… there was a third.

A new god—one bold enough to descend directly into the human world.

Such blasphemy!

Such shamelessness!

"Lord God, what should we do?" asked a group of angels gathered before the Heavenly Throne, faces twisted in fury and humiliation.

Their Creator had been insulted.

As divine messengers, it was their duty to erase that stain.

But God simply watched with cold eyes.

"What can I do?" he said bitterly.

"Just watch. We can't descend anymore."

He was more anxious than any of them.

Because if the situation in the mortal realm couldn't be brought under control—everything would collapse.

What made it worse?

Satan's domain had more vulnerabilities than Heaven's.

Falling was easier than rising.

Corruption always spreads faster than purity.

In the mortal world, Constantine's broadcast spread like wildfire.

Riots broke out across cities and nations.

People who had once been faithful believers began to fall into doubt… then into rage.

"The God of Eternity appeared. Why hasn't ours?"

"If He doesn't appear now, isn't that proof He's fake? A god who hides isn't a god at all!"

"Screw it. I'm renouncing my faith."

"Our priest is a fraud!!"

It wasn't just words.

In the very nation Constantine called home, protests turned violent.

Angry crowds ripped religious robes, burned holy texts, and even urinated on the Bible in public defiance.

"This trash is only good for toilet paper!"

"I'll never believe in that false god again!"

Thanks to Constantine's explosive actions, public sentiment reached a boiling point. Faith shattered. Rage took its place.

Then, as if answering the cries of the people—

Two divine lights fell from the heavens.

One white. One blue.

The lights condensed into two radiant female figures suspended in mid-air.

Lu Xueqi gazed down at the blond man below with a cold expression.

Her voice rang clear and commanding:

"The God of Eternity has spoken. A demon walks the mortal realm.

We, the Divine Envoys—Lu Xueqi and Elizabeth—have descended to punish him.

Foul creature… are you ready to die?"

Her voice was like a blade of ice.

Her face was a holy sculpture.

Light gathered around her in waves.

The emissaries of the Eternal God were greater than any god known to man.

Below, Constantine looked up in awe.

He didn't fully understand—but it made sense. Perhaps the Eternal God was busy, so He sent goddesses in His place.

Fine. As long as they helped, that was enough.

When Lucifer heard that the Eternal God hadn't appeared personally, he suddenly burst into laughter.

"Hah! So He can't descend either? How ironic…

I thought the Eternal God was something special, but He's just as restricted as the others!"

So—if no true god would intervene—

Lucifer had nothing to fear.

With a twisted grin, he turned into a whirling black tornado and charged at Lu Xueqi.

But before he could reach her—

Elizabeth calmly raised a single finger.

And pointed.

That was all it took.

One finger to end a fallen age.

Lucifer's advance came to a sudden halt.

The same Law of Time that he had once controlled was now used against him.

The difference?

Elizabeth's power was far greater.

Lucifer's corrupted body—already weakened—ignited in an instant.

Light-based divine fire exploded across his form.

In the current Divine Realm, unless a goddess was a being of pure darkness, she would have cultivated the Law of Light alongside her other powers.

And Elizabeth?

She was a master of it.

Her divine light burned directly into Lucifer's soul.

Black smoke rose in thick plumes as his very essence was scorched away.

Lucifer let out a tortured scream:

"AAAAAGH—No! This light… It's purer than God's… What the hell is this?!!

Satan! Master!! SAVE ME!! PLEASE!!!"

He writhed and flailed within the holy flames.

But nothing worked.

Time-stop? Useless.

Spatial warps? Shattered.

Dark magic? Burned away on contact.

No spell could survive that divine radiance.

Constantine watched, wide-eyed, as the once-mighty Lucifer disintegrated before him.

Then he understood.

This was true power.

Not something mortals could comprehend, much less fight against.

Lucifer's power had always been overwhelming… until today.

Against this level of divine might, even he was nothing.

Within seconds, even his ashes vanished into the air.

Lucifer—destroyed. Completely. Utterly. Forever.

On the altar, Gabriel collapsed.

She had lost all will to fight.

Her golden eyes trembled with fear.

She had been a divine envoy herself…

And yet, these women…

Their power wasn't just divine—it was god-like.

No.

Perhaps… even beyond god-like.

"If she's a divine envoy… and I'm a divine envoy… why is her strength so terrifying…?"

"Could… could she even defeat God Himself…?"

Despair wrapped around her heart like chains.

She finally understood.

She wasn't a prisoner.

She was a sacrifice.

And her fate had already been decided.
