Asher was surrounded by two beautiful ladies, serving him while Lucas and Alex just sat by the side.
Hey second brother is here, Asher announced, Lorenzo took his sit and Asher dismissed the beauties.
Second brother,you are really fast, Asher started, I saw you and Miss Mia on a date at Emperor Cuisine, how did you manage to convince the feisty Miss Mia to go on a date with you? He asked Lorenzo curiously.
Are you serious, second brother really went on a date with that woman, second brother are you seriously settling for that kind of woman, I mean she has a bad reputation all over M city, Alex said.
Lorenzo was just silent listening to their remarks, he finally said "the woman I choose cannot be that shabby"
You should just give up,I think he has set his mind on her, Lucas told Alex who was obviously dissatisfied with Lorenzo's choice.
Alex, Miss Mia is not as bad as you think, she's just hauty and has a bit of a temper, apart from that she's really good for second brother, though her family background is not that great, I don't think second brother needs a woman to support him, Asher analysed calmly.
Alex snorted still dissatisfied with Mia.
Second brother, why don't you tell us how you managed to get Miss Mia to go on a date with you, Asher asked again, his gossip mode activated.

Alex chuckled at him, she's going to be second brother's woman in the future and your sister in-law, so you better get rid of the unnecessary thoughts in your head.

Your phone has being ringing for awhile now, aren't you gonna answer it? Lorenzo asked Lucas.
It's probably sister in-law Ava calling him,he doesn't wanna go home, Alex said smiling.
First brother, you should answer the call and go home, you can't stay out late with us bachelors, you are married now, sister in-law must be missing you that's why she's calling repeatedly, Asher teased Lucas.

Lucas was irritated by their chattering, he stood up and excused himself to go take the call. Hello, what's the matter? He asked.
The caller was his house keeper. Sir, am sorry to bother you but madam seems to have fallen in the bathroom, she's been there for two hours now, she had given Momo a day off and I didn't think it was appropriate to go in, the house keeper said.
Momo was the female maid that he had assigned to take care of Ava, now she was on a day off and it wasn't really appropriate for the male housekeeper to enter his mistress's bathroom, only Momo was allowed into their room.
I have to go now, there's an emergency at home, see you guys later, Lucas said.
Emergency? Hope sister in-law is okay, Asher asked.
I don't know yet,I have to go home to find out, Lucas said.
Do you need me to come with you, Alex who was a doctor asked.

Lucas drove home as fast as he could and finally got home. The house keeper was already waiting for him at the door, Young master you are here.

I don't know, I didn't enter the bathroom but young madam said she was ok and had just sprained her ankle and can't stand up.
Lucas heard him and headed towards the stairs for the bedroom.
Ava was currently sitting on the floor completely naked, she had just finished bathing and was about to take her towel when she slipped and fell down, she had tried to stand up but couldn't because her ankle was sprained and would hurt at any slight movement. She heard the housekeeper call Lucas but she didn't object, she really needed his help, Momo was on a day off and she couldn't let the male housekeeper see her like that, only Lucas can help her, after all he was her husband.
Lucas entered the bathroom and saw Ava sitting on the ground completely naked,she was in a sorry state and looked like she was about to cry. He walked to her expressionlessly picked up the bathrobe covering her slightly before carrying her to their bedroom.
Ava blushed when Lucas entered seeing her like that. They had been married for a year now but have never been intimate except for once which had lead him to this forced marriage.
Ouuchh, she gasped in pain as Lucas carried her.
Am taking you to the hospital, Lucas said carrying her towards the bedroom door.
Wait! Ava exclaimed, I can't go to the hospital looking like this,she was only wearing a bathrobe and it wasn't even tied properly, Lucas who was carrying her could clearly see her fair skin and even a bit of her bre*st, he swallowed hard.
He dropped her on the bed, I will find you something to wear, he said going to the dressing room.
Ava watched him as he went into the dressing room, she covered the bathrobe properly, feeling embarrassed of the earlier scene.
Lucas came back with a pink home gown which would be easy for Ava to put on in
her condition, she took the cloth from him, he didn't get her an undergarment and she was
embarrassed to ask him.
Ava hesitated putting on the clothes. What's the matter? You don't like the cloth I brought you, Lucas asked impatiently.

I need an underwear, it's a gown and I can't possibly go to the hospital without eehmm an.….. Ava stuttered.
Lucas understood what she was trying to say, he went back into the dressing room to get her an underwear, he searched through the drawers in the dressing room and finally found the one for her underwear, he took out the first one he saw there, it was a blue supergirl themed underwear, how childish, does she think she's still a three years old? Lucas thought to himself.
He came out and tossed the innerwear to her, Ava face turned bright red, why did he have to bring this particular childish underwear, what would he be thinking of her now?
Lucas saw her face red like a tomato, obviously in embarrassment, put it on quickly, I don't have time to wait for you, he said.
You... turn around, Ava said and this infuriated Lucas.
Ava, don't you know your identity, you are my wife, I have the right to see all of you and i have just seen it earlier so you don't have to pretend to be shy, Lucas declared fixing his gaze on Ava who was embarrassed.

Lucas carried her down the stairs, the housekeeper was waiting for them downstairs.

She's fine, I will take her to the hospital to check her foot, Lucas answered carrying Ava out of the house.
Ava was very embarrassed at the moment and buried her face on Lucas's chest.
He put her in the car and went round the car to get in and drove to the hospital.
