Claude frowned, and the doctor laughed. He added, "Real wild animals are rarer than therianthropes around here. If I want challenging cases, you're all I've got. But don't get too complacent. Even modern medicine can't cure all humans. What more of animals?"
The doctor left the OR and stretched on his way out. He figured he should get a coffee from the lobby's vending machine. The receptionist should still be there. Terry could only stay out until she was allowed to leave. However, with shady people inside, she also felt like it was bad to leave the doctor on his own. This old doctor just trusted those men too much.
"Alpha Claude," one of the Gammas called Claude's attention. "Two of us can watch over Alpha Len. The council is calling for you back to the manor. Let the others take you back."
