Eugene just picked one despite the twisted lips. He ate one and then offered another piece to Irving, who stared at Hunie for some reason. His gaze wasn't even something that Eugene had seen before. That was why he kept distracting Irving so that he wouldn't look at Hunie too much.
On Claude's side, he was only looking at Odessa and waiting for her to talk. She also brought food to the table, as if she were willing to stay there. However, her usual pretty girl smile didn't show. She somewhat stared back at Claude and waited for him to say something first.
When Claude frowned, she flinched as if getting the message. She laughed nervously. "Uh, Leia wants to talk to you alone… but she doesn't know if she's safe to do that without us close by."
Leia, who sat across from Claude, gasped at Odessa's straightforwardness. "Can't you be more honest?"
