The Nosferatu—the mindless wight that had once been a Nosferatu—spots you. But then it turns, and though you cannot see the tough-looking young guy and the old woman, you know that they're cornered in the storage room. As the dead woman's blood runs down its chin, the creature weighs its options. It turns toward the storage room, moving awkwardly because a huge iron chain is fastened around one of its legs. Then something lashes out of the darkness and the wight reels back, more in surprise than pain. The young man strikes the creature again with his crowbar.
That won't be enough to fend off a monster like this. These people will be dead in moments, and then the fallen Nosferatu will turn its mindless rage on you.
I grab the chain and haul the wight backward to protect the people in the storage room.

There must be another way out. Using my knowledge of how this place should be laid out, I look for a way to get us to safety.
I shout and rally the young man to fight the wight off. "The road flares!" That will do more against this monster than a crowbar.
I get the wight's attention, then lure it away from the mortals and slip back into the shadows.
I catch the wight's eyes and use my mental powers to compel it to leave. [Dominate]
I invoke the strength of my Blood and beat the wight with my bare hands. [Potence]
