Chapter 12 - Chapter 12 Advance Attack

The principal issued an announcement, mainly in response to Tang Xichen's concerns, as the Tang Family had invested heavily in the school.

As for the lives of these students, actually, as long as they are heroes above grade A, they can retreat safely from the siege of the Demon Race.

As long as they can escape back to the main city, they can be transmitted to the town via the main city control room.

Only low-tier heroes are likely to perish in the siege of the Demon Race.

Reminding them is not very necessary.

As an elite, Tang Xichen had a bit of perfectionism; she thought this discovery, different from the strategy, might lead to significant problems, hence she brought it up.

Inquiring in the school group was also out of kindness, to alert her classmates.

She actually felt more help was unnecessary.

After the principal's announcement, Tang Xichen once again closed the private chat feature from strangers in her social account.

She had no time to waste on the weak.

Rosen's hand awkwardly hovered over the screen, eventually clicking down to send a greeting emoji.

As a result, a red exclamation mark popped out beside it...

This is quite embarrassing; this girl is really defensive.

The principal's announcement was really ill-timed!

Rosen once again paused his thoughts of freely getting the Twelve-winged Angel Goddess, and he still couldn't be sure if he could transform into the beings that enter the territory.

With the newly summoned troops, Rosen once again embarked on the hunting journey.

The previous route he always took was the northern direction, where the Demon Race almost got cleared out by him, unlikely to appear anew anytime soon.

The Demon Beast Legion marched westwards, under a sunset, they found a deep cave.

The cave appeared on a raised rocky surface with a bumpy path leading underground.

Uncertain about the situation inside, the soldier first sent a Beastman Soldier down to explore the situation.

It had barely gone down a few seconds before sounds of fighting came from below, and the Beastman Soldier sent by Rosen let out a tragic cry, meeting its end.

Judging by the sounds of battle, the enemy number was only one.

Rosen transformed into Beastman Cavalry, followed by a Beastman Wizard, and personally went down to investigate.

Before long, in the pitch-black environment, Rosen faced an attack coming directly from the front, his health dropped by 13 points.

Immediately, it was restored by the Beastman Wizard's healing magic.

Rosen also confirmed what was beneath the hole.

It was a giant mole named Earth Crawler.

Two round eyes growing on top of its head, the entire face replaced by a drill, which spins rapidly when attacking.

With a single strike, Rosen easily shattered it, then took two steps forward into the cave, sure enough, discovering a treasure chest hidden in the darkness.

According to the rumors, there are treasure chests in the Lord World, but they are rare.

The chest levels from low to high are: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, King!

The treasure chest before him emitted a faint golden glow, clearly a Gold treasure chest!

Rosen took the Gold treasure chest out of the tunnel, then opened it.

The golden light spread upward, revealing the items inside the chest, and then the chest gradually vanished, leaving only the items.

A total of 380 Gold Coins, 250 Lord Coins, a troop revival scroll, and three pieces of equipment.

[Excellent Javelin: Increases damage by 15, attack speed by 5]

[Magic Javelin · Curse: Increases damage by 35, attack speed by 5, hits with an additional 15 life reduction curse per second, lasting 10s]

[Magic Gun · Split: 50% chance for bullets to cause a split, capable of hitting two targets simultaneously, even hitting the same target twice in one go]

Upon reviewing the equipment descriptions, Rosen couldn't help but click his tongue.

Among the three pieces of equipment, two came with magic properties, one with a life-draining curse, the other with split attack!

He equipped the Excellent Javelin and Magic Javelin on two Giant Troll Javelin Throwers, and threw the Split Gun to a Beastman Gunman.

On the way back, they encountered a group of 50 zombies, digging for something in the bushes.

Zombies also belong to the Undead Race's troops, but are relatively among the weakest in the Undead Race.

The number of fifty may seem large, but their overall combat strength is far inferior to Rosen's Demon Beast Legion.

Rosen rode ahead on the black panther, raised his arm, and the Demon Beast Legion charged forward.

Their hunting time had come!

Rosen took the lead, slicing towards a zombie's head with his saber, the blade cutting through iron like mud, cleanly slicing its head off.

Oddly, it triggered the knockback effect of the Berserk Bracers, causing the zombie's body with most of its head cut off to be tossed aside.

It seemed like Rosen's strike was full of power.

The Beastman Soldiers behind had advanced, their shields blocking the foul-smelling, green-skinned zombies.

The trained sword in their right hand swung at the zombies, spraying green liquid from the zombies' bodies.

Behind them, the Beastman Archers and Beastman Gunmen were eagerly shooting arrows and firing guns, one by one, the Undead Race zombies fell.

One Beastman Gunman even fired a bullet that split, hitting two targets at once.

The Beastman Wizard and Giant Troll Javelin Throwers stood at mid-range, the Beastman Wizard healing troops while the Giant Troll Javelin Throwers continuously threw their javelins.

Among them, the two Javelin Throwers threw at remarkable speed, with one javelin carrying a curse, infecting and killing quickly, cursing the zombies dead in just two seconds.

Another Beastman Cavalry fought alongside Rosen, blocking enemies attempting to ambush him from the side.

Its damage was clearly inferior to Rosen's, requiring four or five slashes to kill a zombie, unlike Rosen who could instantly kill with one slash.

In less than two minutes, Rosen led this group of Beastmen, overwhelmingly crushing the Undead Race zombie legion, killing them all.

Only then did Rosen notice what the zombies were digging.

The ground was pitted, hiding yet to be fully uncovered black spherical objects.

"Landmines?"

Rosen extracted a black spherical object the size of a palm from the pit and threw it far away.

Boom!

The black sphere exploded upon landing.

If someone stepped on it, it would definitely cause a wide-scale group damage.

And the buried location was exactly on the necessary path for Rosen's army, evidently meant for ambushing the Beastman Legion.

Thinking about his prior ambush on the Undead Territory, it looked like this was the Undead Race's revenge.

His preemptive strike seemed to have aroused their hostility, causing some subtle changes.

Rosen couldn't confirm if the Undead Race would attack his territory within a month.

But with such obvious malice from the opponents, he could only prepare for a preemptive strike.

Returning to the territory, the first thing he did was exchange his excess Gold Coins and wood for Griffin Knights.

A total of ten Griffin Knights.

This type of troop is immune to ground attacks, suitable for cleaning up ground troops.

Rosen's plan was to formulate a strategy at night and attack the Undead Territory tomorrow!

Let them be arrogant, burying landmines on his path?

Then, let's do it, all or nothing!
