They waded through streams full of leeches and mosquito larvae, stepped over jagged rocks, and passed through taller-than-human bushes.
Finally, they reached a desolate pile of rocks.
In this area, there were no living things.
Neither plants nor insects.
It felt like an absolute life-forbidden zone, with only the circle surrounding the pile of rocks filled with towering trees long since dead and turned into decaying wood.
At the top of the rock pile was a pitch-black cave formed by two massive flat black stone slabs leaning together.
The cave led underground, and no one knew how deep this cave was or where it led.
