Mount Fuji, located at the boundary between Shizuoka Prefecture and Yamanashi Prefecture in the central part of Japan Island, stands at an elevation of 3776 meters.
It is the highest peak on Japan Island, surrounded by lakes such as Aoki Lake, Kurihara Lake, and Lake Yamanaka, and on clear days, one can even view the distant Pacific coastline from the summit.
In the past, Mount Fuji has always been a tourist attraction on Japan Island, drawing many visitors to climb the mountain.
But today, all five climbing routes to the summit of Mount Fuji have been sealed off by the police of Japan Island, barring anyone from ascending for the entire day.
"What's going on? They closed the mountain without any prior notice. I've been preparing for this for a long time."
"Why the sudden closure? At least give us a reason. We've come all this way, and you say we can't go up? Are you toying with us?"
