"Yes." Su Zimai nodded.
"Is it a mission?" Gu Qiye pondered, "The recent tasks from the Exorcist Association seem a bit... too frequent?"
He lifted his eyes, earnestly staring into Su Zimai's eyes, as if trying to see something.
"It's fine, I can handle it." Su Zimai avoided his gaze.
Gu Qiye was silent for a moment: "I may not be in a position to say anything, but don't push yourself too hard. I used to have no choice but to go solo, but you're different, you have me."

Su Zimai lowered her head, absent-mindedly stood up from the chair, and went upstairs.
"Leaving again?" Gu Wenyu leaned on the second-floor railing, playing with his phone.
