Li Hao slumped inside the filthy cell, his disheveled hair obscuring his features, wounds covering his body, while barbed chains pierced through his shoulder blades, locking him in place.
The blood from his wounds had long dried up. The mighty strength of an eighth-tier Transcendent was utterly useless under such severe injuries, barely sustaining a thread of life.
The whole dungeon prison contained only Li Hao.
The reason was simple. In a resource-scarce post-apocalyptic environment, the gathering place had no extra resources to sustain prisoners. Even food, barely enough to maintain life, would cause a scramble outside.
Under such circumstances, only those of the high echelons, guilty of serious crimes yet untouchable due to their extraordinary status, could be imprisoned.
