Lindong blinked, seeing this as akin to walking into a trap. She didn't expect that even a believer of the God of Trickery could be deceived by Ethan. "You truly are a professional con artist!"
"Don't make it sound so unpleasant!"
"It's not unpleasant, it's not unpleasant." Lindong beamed, "I just like your kind who aren't too honest!"
Because she wasn't honest either.
She had flipped through more than half of the forbidden books in the Mage Tower.
She finally found the best partner in sneaking around.
"I didn't trick him; sincerity is the ultimate weapon."
Ethan said seriously.
He wouldn't be arrogant enough to think that casually fabricating some lies would deceive a believer of the God of Trickery. Therefore, he changed his strategy, and everything he said on the witness stand was the truth.
